Amazing place! You must stop here for dinner, but be sure to make a reservation first. This place is an absolute gem. The focus on farm to table. We are both gluten free and they took excellent care of us and there were plenty of options. We began our meal with a a delicious grilled ceasar salad with cornmeal fried oysters. It was phenomenal, those oysters were out of this world good. Next we devoured a filet, mushrooms and potatoes that were cooked to perfection. We ended our meal with a orange cream creme brulee. Such a wonderful meal and great service.

What an incredible culinary experience from start to finish. Highly recommend if you are looking for a true foodie experience unique to Savannah. Every dish was thoughtful and perfectly executed. Favorites were the tomato burratta salad, deviled eggs, and mushroom pasta. They also know how to make a mean cocktail. We were a big loud group and the server did an amazing job managing us, thank you. The ambiance is a vibe itself and matches well with the space. Simple and effective. Do not sleep on this place, it was amazing!

Visited ChaBella for dinner on a Tuesday night. I went in OpenTable to make a reservation the same night around 5 pm and it showed they didn't have anything earlier than 8 pm however when we showed up it was very quiet; there were plenty of empty tables and it didn't get more full while we were there, so not sure why OpenTable was that way. We would have preferred to come earlier. We opted to sit on the outside garden patio which was very romantic and quaint. I like that for the tables of two they placed the chairs next to each other as opposed to seating them facing each other. There was an old b&w movie being projected on the building's wall and they had cute hanging swings. The patio wasn't too crowded. There was a large family at one big table and then a couple smaller tables. They only had one server covering the patio and service was very slow. I tried the Toasted Coconut cocktail - it was tasty, not too, too sweet. To start, we shared the caprese. The burrata was very good and I loved all the flavors. For my main, I had the grouper and my fiancé got the caramelized onion tagliatelle & added bacon. The grouper dish was light and good; nothing that wowed me. My fiance couldn't eat much of the pasta dish - it was very heavy. Once our food came, we never really saw our server again. Pretty much everyone cleared out and we were waiting for him to come around and bring us our bill. We got stuck there an additional 10+ minutes longer than we needed to be. If we were to come back, we'd try other dishes. It has a lot of potential - our experience was just a miss

Great food! Amazing service. Very pretty inside. One of the best charcuterie in Savannah...might be my favorite in Savannah. Great vegetables!!! Totally recommend.

Cha-Bella is a farm to table restaurant and it's little further away from a lot of the tourist spots. I would say reservations are a must. Service : 5 stars. Our waitress was good and provided us some good recommendations. Food: the bread was so good and adding the ricotta cheese and olive to it was so good. We fought who could have the remaining cheese left on the plate. I had the grouper and asked if the could put crab on it. Glad I made that decision. My husband had the lamb and enjoyed it. My friend has the shrimp and crab risotto and savored every bite of it. I don't have a photo of the tagliatelle with pesto, but the two people at the table said it was only ok. They had to ask for salt to give it some taste. All in all everyone enjoyed their meal. I'm giving this place a thumbs up and definitely worth a visit.

This is our second time going to Cha-Bella, and I'm of mixed review. The first time was so good. Perfect service, food, everything was fantastic. This time I was pretty underwhelmed. For a dinner party of 5 we were there every bit of 2 hours. There were long periods between ordering drinks, appetizers and entree. We sat outside and while the patio was super cute, the traffic noise was insane. Not that they have control over that, but just a warning if you're trying to have a relaxing outdoor experience, this is not it. The motorcycles revving their engines and loud mufflers echoed inside the area. It was hard to just chill and enjoy dinner. All the food was good except the risotto, which was overcooked and the crab was rancid. We had to cover the bowl while we were eating because it smelled so bad. Our server didn't come back out so that we could address it until everyone else was done eating and we shared our food with the guy who ordered the risotto so he was full. I'm pretty sure they took the dish off the bill, but still. You can't serve rancid seafood to folks. The grouper was average. The best was the steak and mushroom papardelle. Honestly, it may be my last visit. For the price paid, I just expected it to be a bit better. I raved about this place after the last time we ate here but legitimately the rancid dish was so off putting we almost sat the dish on an empty table so the rest of us didn't have to smell it.

What a gem of a restaurant. I found it on Yelp weeks in advance of our trip to Savannah and I'm so glad it came up. The farm to table was obvious with the fresh ingredients and unique menu. We started off with the hummus & chips- I know what you're thinking, chips? Yes, the most delicious compliment to the flavorful hummus with fresh herbs. For our main dish, we shared the 20oz ribeye with sides of string beans and whipped potatoes. The steak was prepared to perfection and the whipped potatoes were great. I'd skip the string beans next time. Service was great and the Christmas decorations made our dinner extra special. We fell in love with the city of Savannah and plan to return to Cha Bella the next time were in town!

We made reservations for a large party during a business trip down to Savannah. We were seated promptly and the restaurant was quite hot. There is an interesting smell, and it got worse in the bathrooms. It was a moist, vinegar smell- not especially one you'd like to smell in a restaurant. All of the wait staff seemed to be dripping sweat. There was a single oscillating fan in the corner to cool the area. We waited a significant amount of time for our food to arrive after ordering (enough for us to spend time outside and come back in and it still wasn't at the table). When the food came we were all quite underwhelmed. I ordered the hog chop at the recommendation of the waiter, who told us that it was cooked in a sous vide and then finished in cast-iron. It was incredibly dry. The goat creamed kale side was incredibly salty and was almost like a kale soup. I can't say I'll return or that I'd recommend Cha Bella. Perhaps there was a reason they were able to seat a party of 11 so readily.

Nicely attentive service last night after singing with the Symphony Chorus. Always love the paparadelle and their spin on putanezesca.

The first time I visited was near Christmas and it was freezing outside, but they had a burning fireplace and the cutest little enclosed glass houses you could sit in to enjoy your drinks. During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!
