Had a great peaceful time at Hop Atomica our bartender was Brick. He was nice; he let me know their chocolate stout does not contain lactose which is great! It was very flavorful and robust. My mom had the Cranberry Sour. She said it was really light and refreshing. Their parking lot is small only 4 spots- with street parking available. They sell hats, beanies, jackets, T-shirts, and a bunch of different of their glasses and stickers as well. In the case, they also make their own rum, vodka, and whiskey. 10/10 Definitely recommend read more

But, to be honest, I haven't tried another spot and I won't have to because this one fully satisfied my pizza urge! I believe it was Rick who helped us who also made me a fantastic old fashioned. Fell in love with this place the moment I laid eyes on it. Great outdoor space with plenty of heaters in the colder months and a large indoor area. We had the Queen pizza and the Dip as an appetizer and I highly recommend both. Pizza was perfect and the dip was equally amazing. I will be back for the pizza alone. I had their Hazy IPA and a New Zealand Pilsner. Both hit the spot. Great food, good beer but what about the service. I felt that anyone I interacted with, cared for my experience. We were looking for a spot to relax after the Savannah St Paddy's day parade. Hop Atomica fit the bill! Brick welcomed us at the bar immediately offering samples of beer to determine our choice. We enjoyed the amazing corned beef sandwich (beef smoked in house) so much we ordered one extra to go! The pizzas were delicious as well. Service outstanding! Highly recommend. I stopped in here alone, while my wife was working. In hindsight, she probably could have joined me and worked from here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They allow you to try beers before you commit, which is always nice. They a are brewstillery, so you get the best of both worlds. I only had beer, so I can not speak on their liquor, nor can I speak on their food. What I can say though is that the beer was so good and I had tons of free smells on the food. I was having food at my next stop, with my wife, so I opted to save room. But the food smelled amazing and the plates I saw looked fantastic. Hop Atomica is located in a neighborhood, which is pretty neat. There is a small lot and some street parking. I will stop in again and next time I am grabbing some food. read more

My fav local spot in Savannah. Hidden away in the neighborhood Iga a great spot for craft cocktails from their own distilled spirits and wood fired pizzas. You can watch them make the pizzas from outside. They have plenty of seats at the bar and a handful of tables inside as well as tables and fire pits outside. It's casual so no rezzos required and you order from your phone (qr code assigned to each table). Service is great and Brick is my favorite bartender in Savannah! read more

Totally under the radar pizza spot! One of the best pizzas I've had was here at Hop Atomica - first of all, from the street and parking lot you can already smell the pizzas (it was heavenly!). The ambiance was super relaxed, seat yourself, laid back. We each got a pizza (four total) and they were all delicious! I could tell the ingredients were high quality like the cupped pepperoni, the herbs, cheese, etc. I was really impressed by how good it was and I consider myself a pizza snob. Every style of beer was spot-on perfect. I had the Schwartzbier, Hefeweizen, Belgian Pale Ale, Vienna Lager, Hoppy Amber Ale, New Zealand Pilsner, West Coast IPA & American IPA. Wings and Stallion sandwich were excellent. Stacey was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We were Just passing through. But if I lived here, it would be hard to keep me out. I've probably been to over 100 breweries since the craft beer renaissance in the mid-80's, so I know a little bit about beer. Hop Atomica is doing many things right. It was made with Mozzarella, Ricotta, Grana Podona, Blue Cheese Crumble, olive oil and -- my favorite -- Mike's Hot Honey. The pizza was done to perfection and was amazing. I topped it off with the Shifties Session Lager, which I really loved. Since I'm a pizza lover, looks like I'll be a regular now! Love the industrial interior. Upon arrival, there was no greeting or acknowledgment from the staff. It's a seat-yourself setup with ordering done via QR code, but no one explained that or offered any assistance. The bartender and server both appeared unfriendly and unapproachable, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Overall, the lack of hospitality and poor customer service ruined the experience. We are regulars and come every Friday to have pizza and beer at the bar. Our bartenders are the BEST. Special shoutout to Kate, Coco and Brick who always greet us with a smile and make our time there super fun. They know us by name, memorize our order, and always are super attentive. Absolutely horrible experience. Our server was incredibly horrible. Never got her name but she was brunette with a bob and had a horrible attitude. Food was good, but the server was terrible. She laughed at EACH of us who ordered a drink when we gave her our ID. The funny thing is, each of us are 23 and 24. We addressed it with her at the table, and she was still incredibly rude, continued to laugh, and said our IDs were fake. Such a terrible experience at a restaurant we heard great things about. I ordered the Fifth pizza and it was good, but to me the hot honey didn't add the kick I had hoped for, but it was still a good pizza. They only sell whole pies, which is good to know for the future. I only ordered a ginger beer since I had beer at a previous location, but want to come back to try what their beers. For parking, there was street parking I was able to find right in front of the restaurant. Also, was surprised that they had a bar, so I will be back again to try more pizza and their "adult beverages. read more

This brewery is also a distillery, which you don't see often. I loved the open seating outside with a window to order at the bar - making it really convenient for people sitting out there. We chose to sit inside at the bar. The bartender was very nice and we ordered a pepperoni pizza. I'm not a huge fan of how salty it was, but my fiance loved it. Dang! This place is hopping! On a Saturday afternoon you can pop in for pizza and a beer or cocktail and you would definitely be in the right place for any and all of those things. No substitutions are allowed on the pizzas, but you won't mind as they come piping hot from the oven right to your table. Lots of interesting and varied beers to choose from, you can sample several at a time in a generous flight served by a friendly and excited bartender. He was also very happy to share tastes of in-house distilled bourbon and barrel-rested gin, each with a little story about how it was produced or what made this particular beverage special. Plenty of outdoor seating for those warmer months, this is a great place to hang out any day of the week. I'm looking forward to returning during the summer to do just that. read more

I've been here a few times and if I could give this microbrewery 3.5 stars I would. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice, aesthetically pleasing place that has ample seating outdoors and great pizza! I think the service is honestly lacking. It's pretty much self serve if you're not at the bar, which is fine, but to start the baseline tip at 20% when the waitstaff barely interacts with me and directs me to get my own paper "plates" and water is where I'm confused. I'm all for tipping your staff what they deserve, especially with inflation and all that, but this concept makes me feel like the decor and presentation of the place doesn't match the actual culture the waitstaff exude. I don't like feeling I'm doing your job for you. Anyways, the beers on tap are pretty good. They always have some fun flavored beer like Oreo or blue raspberry, which is super fun to try. I'll most likely be back, but I think my most enjoyable experience was when I sat at the bar. read more

Hop Atomica, what a cool concept.  Modernly decorated with cool taps at the bar and cocktails as well.  They have food here and free wifi.  Really nice out side seating and they are dog friendly. Stopped here on my second trip to Savanah and so glad I finally got to try their beer.  Great service and great beer, you can't go wrong at Hop Atomica. And the flights are $16 for four 6.5 oz. Pours, a great value in my opinion.  And the flight glasses are so very cool looking. They have a variety of beer choices, especially some unique sours.  I didn't try any of the sours, but there were some cool and unique flavor profiles. The BEER: Flight Test Hazy IPA 7.9% ABV... floral and piney.  It is delicious! Muscles from Brussels Belgian IPA 7.9% ABV...  Clean IPA with an odd finish, like bubblegum Space Anomaly Hazy IPA 6.8% ABV... a grapefruit forward Hazy IPA. F'N Jeff Imperial Lager 6% ABV... reminded me of a cider or a much better version of Miller. It is F'N Good. Chai-Wallah Milk Tea Ale 6.9% ABV... OMG, this is FIRE!!! Absolutely loved this one! From the beers I tasted, not a bad beer in the bunch.  I will be returning next time I'm in town. read more

So excited until we got there! We sat down and immediately ordered drinks/food knowing they closed in 1.5 hours. The server came up and checked my ID and saw I was 22 and laughed out loud at me then walked away. My friends then all ordered drinks (all 23), and she checked their IDs then audibly laughed at everyone. We were very disappointed and confused then asked about it- she said they were obviously fake and we went ahead and told her we were from Knoxville and excited to visit. She then just said it was visible they were fake but would serve us and it was "whatever" even though she said they looked fake. We talked to the manager following and got it figured out but truly it was disappointing given since we all turned 21 we have never been scoffed at/laughed at when showing our IDs- especially after chatting with them and telling them we were on a Bachelorette Trip! It makes me sad because the food was great but it was disappointing watching that server go and chat with the back of house about all of this and openly say "all the girls IDs are fake" when all of us are 22+. I do not recommend this place for anyone in their 20s simply given our experience this evening! read more

The only star is for the kitchen. So disappointing that the service is god awful. Just came here tonight and received the worst, most disrespectful and rude service i have ever received. Four out of the six of the people in my group ordered drinks and the server audibly laughed at all of our id's and said they were "obviously fake". Even though she thought they were fake she served us anyways. Mind you we are on a bachelorette trip, so yes, we have out of state id's. We are all 22-24 years old and have never been treated like this before. When we asked her what the problem is, she refused to be respectful and have a conversation with us. As a server myself I understand that there can be uncertainty with id's. With that being said, the server was incredibly wrong and rude going about the situation. Like i said, the food was amazing. You can't go wrong with wood fired pizza. If the servers could be trained properly and taught how to actually work in their service industry, a higher review would be deserved.
