Always seen the Crispi food truck parked at Two Tides Brewing and it always smells amazing -- finally decided to try it, and wow, not disappointed! You can order online for pickup while you're seated at Two Tides sipping their amazing sour beers, which is such a great setup. The patty was nice and crispy, flat, and well seasoned, and the Crispi sauce really makes the whole thing. That said, my patty melt had a few misses: the bun could've been toasted more, there was way too much sauce (it was practically drowning in it), and my patty didn't even cover the bun. The onions also needed to be caramelized more. The potato stix on top gave it a nice crunch though, and overall I still enjoyed it. They offer a gluten free bun for +$2, which was a nice option -- quality, soft bun, and both my husband and I got our burgers on it. His double patty was even better than mine, with tons of meat. We were both stuffed by the end. Overall a solid stop if you're at Two Tides -- would go back and probably ask for less sauce next time. read more

I will start by saying I love it being a stationary food truck camper right in front of their brewery. It's a great idea and fun vibe. But eh. I had high hopes for this place as I've heard great things but the line is always long when I'm in the area or I've already eaten elsewhere so I hadn't gotten to try it until now. They were definitely busy and my order went from 10-15 min to more like 30 minutes to prepare. I got the Crispi Patty Melt with the veggie patty and it just didn't slap like I hoped. The flavor was kind of bland and it was mostly just drenched in sauce. Oh best smash burgers I've had hands down. They literally have the widest crispiest edges. The meat itself was actually flavorful as well they didn't just depend on the condiments to flavor it. It's a little food truck so you just have a little bench to sit outside to eat but the area has some other cute shops and coffee nearby. The people running it were really nice as well. A coworker told me that if I was in Starland, then I needed to stop by Crispi burger for a crunch wrap, smash burger. We were popping in and out of a couple stores when all of a sudden Crispi was right in front of us. We didn't want to ruin our dinner, but decided we could split one as a snack since we still had a couple hours before our reservation. Plus, it was the perfect time to take a break from the heat, have a bite, and sit upstairs at the brewery to cool off. I was in the neighborhood about a week ago and while I was waiting for my appointment, I pulled out my phone to find a quick place to grab something to eat on my way back to Pooler and I ended finding Crispi! Really happy with the results. Now this is a small food truck sitting directly outside of a brewery on a side street and a pretty quaint central Savannah neighborhood so don't be surprised if you drive by looking for the wrong structure. The day I pulled up, the Brother working the counter was tending to a couple of orders and clearly looked bothered. I found out later that he was a Boston Celtics fan and just recently heard about the Jaylen Brown trade so of course he was upset, but nevertheless, he gave me great service! He hooked me up with a patty melt and then a double and I have to say both burgers were really tasty. It wasn't a line so we were able to pull up and walk right up. The owners were helpful and we prefer pretty quickly. This could very well be the best burger I've ever eaten in my life. We were visiting the area and I saw some reviews for their burgers so I had to swing through and try it out. I've had a lot of great burgers but the crispy edges they manage to obtain on their burgers were way over the top. I wish I had stayed in front of the grill to watch and see how they created such a masterpiece, so I could attempt to create it at home. Walked upstairs to Two Tides Brewery. Two bartenders and only two patrons at bar drinking. I said I needed to order. I was told: Go back downstairs and order at food truck. I told them no one was at food truck. They told me then to just order on line; they can't help; no in-person ordering. When put in the order on line - even though there were no other customers in-line or waiting, online platform said it would take 30 minutes to make two burgers. We left. ZERO customer service and 30 minutes to make two hamburgers in a food truck when we are the only two customers is a joke. Too hot in a food truck - that has a ductless AC attached??? Cry me a river.
