This establishment seems to cater to locals. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Being tourists, we didn't feel "unwelcome" per se... but there were A LOT of regulars with growlers at the bar. My friends and I wanted to check out the local scene on breweries so we got up Lot 9. They've got a couple of beers on tap plus great music and board games to play. They're also dog friendly so bring your pup! My friends and I did the Anchor OG Cider which was $7.50 per 12 oz. The ambiance of Lot 9; is a nice quiet local brewery where obviously the locals go. They've got rotating taps and local brews to Bluffton. It's quite a slow night we were told by the locals which is nice because it's not too busy tonight. 10/10 Definitely recommend if your a local or you're visiting! read more

Beers and ambience awesome - the food truck "Crave" not good at all, thirty minutes late, lady from truck smoking prior to cooking, stale bun on our hot dog which was luke warm, pulled pork sandwich no bbq sauce and when we asked for some it came out cold, baked beans - tasted like out of a Van-decamps can. read more

We stopped by here on my friend's advice and it's definitely somewhere we will go back to. They have a huge variety of beers plus root beer and other drinks. Limited food menu but you can bring your own lunch or dinner and grab a beer which is awesome. There is also a food truck pretty much everyday so you can get whatever they are serving. The waitress was really friendly also. My wife doesn't like bars but she liked this place and we both enjoyed the root beer. I also had the Porter and it was superb. Get you a couple of sandwiches at Publix (yes they are really good) and bring them here and eat them with a nice Lager or Porter. read more

When we first walked in we were not greeted so warmly by the guys working there but we thought we'd have the one beer we went for and move along. My wife and I love a good beer on nitro so we came specifically for their red ale on nitro. Others came in and their reception was the same so I tried not to take offense to the not so welcome attitude. We were planning to pay and leave when one of the guys started chatting up with us and we wound up having a nice conversation. I would have stayed for another drink but we already made up our minds to go. He told us about another great brewery not too far so we planned to head up there for a beer. The beer was great, and the guys wound up being pretty cool so I'd definitely head back next time we're in town. read more

I loved all the photo opportunities they had at this location! The beer was delicious, and the staff was amiable. I only stayed here about 30 minutes since I missed the time they closed. What a great spot! Don't be put off by the fact this place is at the back end of an industrial area. The interior is warm and welcoming and you can tell much thought was given to making it very comfortable (and conducive to drinking beer) for their patrons. The beer is awesome, although they might not always have exactly what you're looking for (may not always be an IPA on tap, for instance). But what they do have is great beer. They have an interesting concept called beer mash-ups if you are feeling adventurous or want to try something different. How about a sour mixed with some apple cider? Or a sour mixed with some blackberry soda? Very creative! The owners and servers are extremely friendly and are sure to make your visit worthwhile. I really enjoy the quiet and laid back atmosphere of this place. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and dogs are allowed in both. Nice selection of beers for reasonable prices, helpful beertenders, and I like that the tap list changes, but not too quickly or rapidly, and I like that they use local ingredients for the beer. Definitely a nice stop if you're in Bluffton! read more

A lot of things this place has done right. First of all the beer was excellent! Had a flight of 5 beers and every one was very very good. The facility is also top notch and you can tell a lot of planning has gone into the branding. Talked to one of the owners who explained the background of the brewery and talked us through the beers we were drinking. Their tag line "made right" makes sense and attention to detail has gone into everything from the beer to the merchandise. Looking forward to going back. read more

We've been wanting to try Lot 9 for a while now; it turned out to be a terrific, chill, and refreshing time. The two bartenders were fantastic - extremely friendly and welcoming. The beer and tap selection were not disappointing. The flight of tasters did not have a bad beer - but the 9 Grain Whiskey Barrel Stout was the one that stood out by far. The location is tucked away from the road, but once you arrive behind the first set of storefronts it's a great location to relax and enjoy some good beverages and even some food (depending on the food truck present that day). While Lot 9 does not directly serve prepared food, they are very welcoming for patrons to purchase food at a food truck outside, or to bring your own food and enjoy with their beer. They also have a game rack for patrons to enjoy games during their stay. Yes, they are dog friendly and that's one additional element that made Lot 9 a terrific place to relax and enjoy some good local brews with some really friendly people. read more

Wow is this place expensive. $25 for one beer and a taster of 5 small ones. Beer is good but prices are ridiculous. As to the atmosphere it is a standard warehouse micro brewery. No real atmosphere despite the other comments. Staff was very nice. Need to cut prices by about 33%. read more

Lot 9 is great!! Good beer and good people. Owners are fantastic. Took home a couple of crowlers and enjoyed them a week later. Very good.
