Seemed to be a local spot and it was pretty busy. The food was good and the server was great! We ordered a few drink and appetizers. The quesadillas, fried pickles and baked potato.

Chicken Pot Pie.

They need a more mature hostess: young guy gave us two place settings when we said there will be three of us. Then when we asked for a booth because we were expecting an elderly guest which we explained he said no despite two booths being empty and sat us under a TV screen in a half booth. We asked again when she arrived and scored a full booth at last when another couple left. Food made up for it as I loved my Chicken Pot Pie!

Stopped in for a bite after getting off the plane on our way into HH. There were lots of great options on the menu and service was friendly. The prices were very reasonable too and they got our large party of 9 seated with no issues in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday. I got the strawberry salad with grouper. It came out with 2 HUGE pieces of grouper. Everything was delicious and fresh. And it was roughly only $16. Would highly recommend this restaurant and it's right next to an ice cream shop when you're ready for dessert!

Great grouper. Some kind of construction that made for some dust. Server was attentive.

New and expanded outdoor bar.

Hi Everyone, Where…read morecan you go to enjoy lunch or diner while you and your friends play a three games of pool? Yes, this is an age old question that has tried Men's souls for over a decade, lol. The ambiance here is a bar and grill decor, you know dark, and laid back so you can relax as you enjoy your lunch or dinner. However, I do not recommend it after 7:00 PM which should cover about 70% of us Low Country patrons. Their service was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. My 16 year old Grandson who was visiting for our annual, golf, beach, fishing, and fondu diners and what ever adventure we enjoy together. You know, the visit which you have done with him and his Sister all of their lives, meaning, each year since they were born while you give their Parents a rest which they have always appreciated for a couple of weeks, or, in few years, a month. But as many of us have experienced 16 is a challenging age for almost all youth just as it was for you and I. In our day, many of us were working in the summer at that age but today, I am very happy to say, many of our Grandchildren will now rotate their friends into their summer jobs which is smart, while they are gone, and are now available for visits. But what to do that do to entertain your digital challenged linage? Some of whom only venture outside at night at 16 as they feel the extreme heat of our days can stifle even the heartiest our souls. You still want them to feel you are cool, like when you, and they were younger and you visited Ft. Jackson in Savannah, or to the Tall Ships that were docked, Putt Golf, the Kazoo factory, days trips on the Pirate Ship, The Beaufort Water Festival for everything to MoTown Monday while dancing and singing along, to Bed and Raft races, Bocce, or The Chocolate Tree or summer camp each year for a week, or for trips to St. Augustine, or Disney World. But at 16 that dog just don't hunt. So what is a cool Grandpa to do? I decided we would venture out to enjoy some fried gator (tastes like chicken), which he had never eaten before, and which were perfectly prepared. Their Burgers were delicious with an excellent taste. We had a great time together playing pool, while laughing at a few of our shots, and talking while hanging out together.. And you know, he really had a great time doing what some of the time, I enjoyed doing in my youth. So if you feel you need to revisit your youth, possibly with your next generation, or just want enjoy a leisurely meal and libation with some friends, we can recommend Tailgators Bar and Grill for some, with Grandson, or none. So stop by and give Tailgators a try as you might find, you get what you need. Enjoy!

Located in a strip mall area there's plenty of parking. They have a Louisiana/Cajun/New Orlean type cuisine Rachael was our server and was extremely helpful as well as patient with the group I was with. Since reading the reviews prior to visiting, I wanted to try the Oyster Po-Boy. On the lunch menu, they had Combos where you can order a half Po-Boy along with soup or Gumbo for $13.95. The Oyster Po-Boy added an extra $1.00. So that's what I ordered----half oyster Po-Boy with Shrimp & Corn soup. The soup tasted like it may have been homemade. It was excellent with at least 6 medium size shrimp along with a delicious corn and seafood broth. The half Po-Boy was definitely a good size packed with large fried oysters. They had a separate room which I didn't visit. I'm guessing for larger parties or overflow. I believe they also serve alcohol although I didn't see a bar when I was there. Mainly people there for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

So you are a Veal fan, eh!…read more Well then Veal fan we can recommend you visit Nonna Rosa Italian Restaurant in Okatie. SC for get your fix. Nonna Rosa has good Italian fare and there Chef and Owner is from Napoli, Italy which is nice to know and just an interesting informational fact unless this Chef can cook, right? Well he is very accomplished in his own right. There Veal Marsala is very tasty and I really enjoyed his version of his Marsala sauce as it has differing taste notes which delight your palate. My bonny, exquisite, and very lovely dining companion had their Veal Picatta which she felt had a wonderful flavor which was a delight to enjoy. Their Service in our experience is good, prompt, and polite and has never made a mistake in our many orders over the years. If you are so inclined, their Feast of the Seven Fishes (which occurs right before Christmas, and I believe which is One Night Only!) was a fantastic because I and my gorgeous, and ravishingly beautiful dining partner thoroughly enjoy each and every bite of their exotic, taste sensations but like the name highlights you have to enjoy fish. They have a pleasantly decorated restaurant, and comfortable dining area. While I appreciated their wine offerings, I feel they could offer a wider variety which is my hope that they will attend to in the future. They are located in the Okatie Shopping Center which is convenient for many in our area, and have ample parking. We feel you and your Family will enjoy an evening out at the terrific Nonna Rosa Italian Restaurant. Enjoy!

We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter was friendly and obviously very overworked. Only 3 people were working on this fairly busy Friday night. The burrata appetizer was good and presented well. Next up the entrees. We had veal Marsala which was average and chicken piccata. The chicken piccata tasted baked not fried (strange) but the sauce was good and gf pasta was great! Lastly, the dessert... tiramisu. The waiter said it was homemade and highly recommended. It was very cold from the refrigerator but otherwise was fine. I had high hopes coming in but I'd give an average overall rating.

They offered a table at the bar and we said yes. It didn't get better from there. The server maybe came to us twice to take our drink order and food. We never saw her again. The food was very disappointing. It tasted like it was reheated in a microwave. A place that has Sinatra on the wall everywhere, you kinda expect better pasta. It was a waste of an evening. I think we would've enjoyed going to McDonald's more.
