Good menu - there is something for everyone. This is not a spot for a large group... more of a "hole in the wall". I wouldn't go so far to call it a dive bar but kinda has that feeling. Get the tater tots. They have a full bar but they have embraced the "rolling tap" philosophy... I personally don't like this because it is a total crap shoot if they have something on tap you will like (I think they only have 5-6 selections and sometimes they order strange beer). If you are not a beer drinker than no worries. I think they have abandoned their website so I think you are stuck with Yelp or some other site that may have it posted. Just go... you won't regret it.

It was clear as we sat down that this is where the locals eat We sat out on the patio and appreciated the 6 foot hedge to provide us some privacy and we started with their nachos. They dust their chips with a signature blend of spices that made them so good. My wife got the Saloon burger, my son got the buffalo chicken sandwich & fries, with the same dusting that was on the nachos, and I got the southwestern salad. None of us could finish our meals given the portions that are served. Tasha who took care of us, while training another, did a fantastic job and was so attentive and sweet. So glad we chose this place and will be back the next time we come to Hilton Head.

Our family, who are non-IPA lovers, found something equally delicious for their taste buds and said they enjoyed the smoothness (lager & stout). Sitting on their outdoor patio gave a nice, laid-back vibe. We ended up grabbing a coffee blonde to go, which was a unique and tasty surprise. Their canning system is a bit quirky, using the same cans with different colored tops, but hey, it works. definitely worth checking out.

A great selection and variety of styles. Not just hazy IPAs, but a couple great WCIPAs and a wide range of other offerings. The bartender, Christian, was a pleasure and very friendly. Next, the food. A small food truck in back, but run by someone who obviously cares about his offerings. The Brussel sprouts were amazing, and he's taken the care to craft recipes that go beyond small brewery food options. I didn't catch his name, but my compliments to the chef. Finally, my pet peeve - family friendly amenities. There were a variety of games and food options for kids. And there was also a changing table in both restrooms! It should be standard to have changing tables available for dads, but in my experience that hasn't been the norm. Thank you to the owners for making families feel welcome at your brewery. All in all, this is one of the best breweries I've been to, and that is saying something. By far, the best brewery on the island. We had a great lunch, and the beer was so good that I brought home a 4 pack of the "Spun Out" WCIPA.

Oceans is one of the bars located at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa. We came here late…read moreon a Saturday night for a wedding afterparty and closed the place down. Closing time was 12:30am. Oceans was the only bar open on the property at the time. We'd gone to View 32 (https://www.yelp.com/biz/view-32-hilton-head-island) the previous night, but that place closed at 10. There was another afterparty going on at The Carolina Room, which is The Westin's sit-down restaurant. It closed at midnight. The Carolina Room does late-night dining, 10-11pm, and I believe it has a bar as well. At the time of writing this review, Oceans is only open Thursday-Saturday nights, 6pm-12:30am. It's 21-and-up only. This is a nice little sleek-looking bar and lounge. The inside was clean and the furniture, design, and decor looked relatively updated. There were TVs at the bar with live sports on. Oceans is marketed as having "seaside crafted cocktails" and "stunning ocean views." It was too late at night for us to see the ocean, but the windows were open and we did catch the pleasant gentle breeze. Our group of 12 sat at one of the comfy lounge areas at the far corner of the space, catty-corner from the entrance. We had a good time. The menu was simple with six cocktails ($15 each) and seven light-bite food items ($15-20 each). The bites included things like Tequila Lime Chicken Wings ($16), Warm Peel-and-Eat Local Shrimp (1/2 lb for $13, 1 lb for $20), and a Classic Two-Patty Burger ($18, $20 with bacon). I had an Old Fashioned Southern Peach made with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, honey syrup, Fernet-Branca, and peach bitters. The drink was strong and delicious. Well-made. Service was excellent. There was only one bartender, though I think I saw another employee come in later at one point. The bartender was great. Cool and efficient. Complimentary self-serve ice water was available at the bar. The men's restroom was clean. Overall, a decent late-night hotel bar.
