We had an appetizer basket of fried Grouper bits, calamari, Cuban sandwich & Mixxadillas quesadillas add drinks ALL for an outstanding dinner. Making it special was the service. Great food! Got the fried grouper tacos and they were delicious. The service was fast but vibes were less than though. Great place if you want to avoid crowds though and get good food! The other thing that I didn't love was the side of fries was an extra $5 for each of us. read more

Stopped in for a light dinner on a Friday evening. Servers were all very friendly and helpful. All had great suggestions about what was good on the menu along with what was their favorites. Since we were eating light, we stuck to salads and appetizers. Grouper bites were great, dinner salad was big and the cucumber and tomato salad was better than homemade. Was rainy during our visit, but the outdoor area looked fun. Can't wait to try it. Big TVs to watch sports was nice bonus! read more

This place was recommended by our boat captain as a local joint. It was surprisingly good food and service. A relatively wide variety of sandwiches, salads, entrees and more. My salad was fresh and the blackened chicken salad was moist. My wife really enjoyed her fish tacos. The outside deck and interior are comfortable like a beach restaurant, but not on the beach. Our server was friendly and provided exactly what we ordered. We went after an evening boat ride and we were so hungry we forgot to take pictures. We plan to go back again on this trip. Mixx is one of our favorites when visiting our condo on HHI. My husband and I stopped in for dinner and sat at the bar. We were greeted, given menus and served drinks quickly. Our order included fish tacos and a chimichanga with red beans and rice (our favorite side). When the food arrived it was hot and delicious. Great local venue close to Hilton Head Plantation. My wife wanted to go there since she's hosting an event with her local group soon and wanted to make sure they had enough space and can accomodate the group of 12. We were immediately seated near the bar which has at least 6-8 TV's going with all local and national sports. They also have an outside area which was quite busy. Josie was our server and we started with an IPA and a Yuengling. I ordered off the specials menu while my wife ordered the Taco Salad with Chicken (on the side). I had the Shrimp & Scallops over Penne Alfredo with Broccoli. The taco salad came in a large tortilla bowl with the chicken on a separate plate. Quite a bit of chicken to say the least. My wife loved it. For my shrimp and scallops, they gave you quite a large portion of seafood. The alfredo sauce was a bit more like a broth than your standard thick sauce. The portions are large and you won't leave hungry. Josie did a great job. We look forward to returning soon. read more

Omg! This place is the best. We sat at the bar outside. Sara at the bar outside was the bomb!!! The best food. I had the wedge chopped and tossed but had blackened shrimp instead of the beef. Friendly and courteous staff We had the specials one had the steak and seafood quesadilla and I had the grilled pork chops with sautéed onions and garlic paired with a Carmel Apple mule. First time here and we loved it!! Great atmosphere and definitely a local favorite. We are on island 3x a year and we will be back. Lots to choose from! Burgers are great plus sandwiches. Definitely recommend the tomato basil soup! Mexican choices are so tasty. My husband loved his chicken fajita quesadilla. Tacos are so good!!! Went last Thursday and the food was delicious. Atmosphere is nice aswell. Outside bartender was really loud and over the top, maybe even a little intoxicated.
