Perfectly unpretentious! I stopped by for lunch on a weekday and was able to be seated right away. This place had really good reviews and I was excited to try. They had a pork tenderloin sandwich that sounded really good, so I decided on it. I lived in Indiana a few years and I was expecting one of those pounded-thin fried tenderloins, but instead it was grilled. Probably better for my waistline anyway, and still very tasty! It's a bar-like atmosphere inside, and looks like it'd be a really fun place to go in the evening, especially with a few other fun places in the same area. Really great little spot, would definitely recommend!

This place is a hidden gem! It looks like a dive bar, but don't let the atmosphere steer you away from eating here! The staff is so friendly and really makes sure you have a great meal. The food here is fantastic and it is all homemade. I have eaten here twice now and it has been wonderful each time. I highly recommend their grouper sandwich, especially when it's fried or blackened! They also have daily specials and when we visited on Tuesday the special was beef tacos. The tacos were delicious, authentic, and fresh! This place is just awesome and we always make sure to come here whenever we visit the island.

Unbelievable dive. Get food!! Perry is the man and Tamberly is a top not entertainer that can sling drinks with the best of them. We had bonnethead and Atlantic sharp nose shark and it was amazing. We'll be back!

Coconut pineapple cake was to die for!

Everything we ordered was insanely good, from chicken tenders made from locally raised chicken, home-made potato chips, blackened grouper and hearty burgers. Best of all was the local crowd. Warm and friendly hardworking folks meeting-up after work to just chill-out. They were all so welcoming to my family who was clearly not from the area. Kelly the bartender/waitress was so friendly and helpful, an ideal hostess. A great finish was their homemade pineapple coconut cake with a tres-Leche moist consistency -crazy delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better local find: authentic and down to earth atmosphere, people and great eats. Looking forward to returning soon.

    Excellent sauce.

Food was OK. Service was OK. Only 1 person at the age and tables. He was fast but also in a rush. No time for formalities.

The weather was not cooperating to enjoy the outdoors dining area, but I could see where this would be a great area to dine when the weather is nice. We sat inside where our server, Lou, took great care of us and answered any questions we had regarding the extensive menu. She also gave her recommendations and described in detail the evening specials. We started the evening with the calamari appetizer. It was a good size portion and plenty for the four of us to share. I prefer my calamari as bit more crispy, but it still had a very good taste. I choose to order the Tuna appetizer for my main meal. It came prepared two ways, first, as Tuna Tartare and the second, seated with crusted peppercorn. Although it tasted fine, it could have benefited from a Ponzu sauce. My husband raved about his Low-Country Boil with peel and eat shrimp. The potatoes, corn, sausage, and shrimp were cooked to perfection. He did mention, it needed more old bay seasoning. Our friends ordered the fried shrimp basket which included french fries and coleslaw and the Grouper special, which included green beans and mashed potatoes. We all agreed the Grouper was the star of the evening.

Sit at the bar or grab a table and the service is FAST but the food is very good for a tiki shack kind of environment. We particularly liked the fish sandwich and fish tacos. The outdoor seating is a nice touch, with a mix of open-air tables and some covered spots at the bar for shade. The drink menu is decent, with plenty of tropical cocktails to choose from, though the beer selection is surprisingly limited for a place that stays this busy. Most of the service seems to run through the bar, and while the bar staff was friendly, upbeat, and doing their best despite being absolutely swamped, the table service was pretty spotty. The food menu is just okay--nothing terrible, nothing standout. I ordered the Caribbean Jerk Chicken sandwich at lunch, and unfortunately it did not sit well with me at all. It upset my digestive system enough to derail one of my vacation days, which definitely colored the experience. One thing that stood out was the presence of armed security guards. Not necessarily a problem, but it does create a different atmosphere than you might expect from a casual beachfront bar. Many reviews have mentioned the parking. We stayed at the hotel, so it wasn't an issue for us but somebody sitting next to me at the bar was ejected by management for something related to parking. I'm not sure of the exact details because I couldn't hear the conversation well, but it seemed to have to do with either buying or selling a parking pass with someone else. There was another incident where an unruly patron had the police called on them after engaging with one of the aforementioned security guards. That said, these seemed to be atypical of the total experience. Overall, it's an entertaining spot for drinks and music, but the unpleasant food experience land it at a middle-of-the-road three stars for me.

Wife is obsessed with these and I also liked them very much. They are reminiscent of cheese sticks but healthier and lighter. Perfectly cooked and sprinkled with parmesan. We got full just eating these as the appetizer. Took off one star for the kids menu and kid food quality. The chicken fingers were awful- kids wouldn't touch them.. however the french fries were better than McDonald's so kids survived. I'd gain weight working for this place so I'll just visit every time I come to Hilton head for the rest of my life. Perfect for light delicious eats. Top 5 Hilton head restaurant for not my kids.
