The bartenders had a no-nonsense vibe that came off a bit intense, when I asked to sample between two choices, I was told, "two only then I charge you," which felt a little harsh, especially since I had asked, only between those two-and they suggested sampling. That said, the beer was excellent, and I'd absolutely wait in line again. The double IPA was worth the upcharge--smaller pour, higher ABV, and packed a punch. My West Coast IPA was spot on: crisp, bold, and perfectly dank.

However, after our experience today we will never go back AND we'll spread the word to others to not visit this shop. This morning my husband and I walked in to browse. The older man who works there, specifically said he wasn't the owner but has been there 20 years, is insane. He talked to us for 4 minutes then told us we had 1 more minute to continue looking before he kicked us out. Mind you, he talked incessantly for 4 minutes. I made the comment that I wasn't shopping but my husband was. That's all it took for him to become completely unhinged. In this world of people becoming violent so quickly, beware. We walked out thinking, "what the hell just happened?" Sadly, this is reflecting on other Sea Pines Center shops and those small businesses should speak up about this. Clearly it's a pattern for this man. Hilton Head Chamber of Commerce should be aware.

A great selection and variety of styles. Not just hazy IPAs, but a couple great WCIPAs and a wide range of other offerings. The bartender, Christian, was a pleasure and very friendly. Next, the food. A small food truck in back, but run by someone who obviously cares about his offerings. The Brussel sprouts were amazing, and he's taken the care to craft recipes that go beyond small brewery food options. I didn't catch his name, but my compliments to the chef. Finally, my pet peeve - family friendly amenities. There were a variety of games and food options for kids. And there was also a changing table in both restrooms! It should be standard to have changing tables available for dads, but in my experience that hasn't been the norm. Thank you to the owners for making families feel welcome at your brewery. All in all, this is one of the best breweries I've been to, and that is saying something. By far, the best brewery on the island.
