delicious flight, they're not super flexible on swapping stuff though which is unfortunate

We try to come back every visit we have to Hilton Head. Most recently for the first time we brought our daughter and everyone was super understanding and accommodating of her despite her getting overtired and becoming really fussy/difficult unexpectedly. There were one or two other babies too but we really appreciated the staff's flexibility and understanding. The food was delicious. The whiskey was great. And the chocolate milk moonshine is still one of the greatest liqueurs I've ever tasted. You'd have no idea it's a moonshine, it's so incredibly delicious, so smooth, not strong so you can just keep drinking it. Dangerously good. Looking forward to returning!

Koda's creation!

Koda is an excellent bartender that is a great mixologist! He creates a fabulous cucumber/mint refreshing drink that should be in the menu! Koda deserves a raise! He was great to us Chicago and Michigan girls!

Did the tour and tasting flight- Clinton did a great job with the tour and helping us select what to choose for our tasting. Afterwards we moved into the main area to have some food and another flight to try some of the items we didn't have during the tour. Food was great and the sanctuary room is very cool. Staff if very friendly and it's a cool place to hang out. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

A wonderful flight

I am not even sure where to begin. This distillery is quite the experience and my husband and I landed on this place on a Friday night. It was very busy however, the bartenders behind the bar were extremely kind and very fast. We were sure to leave them a good tip. I really enjoyed the ambience of this place and the overall vibe the bourbon flight/whiskey flight that I got was really good. Pretty bummed I didn't know you couldn't buy alcohol after 7 PM oh well next time I would definitely recommend going to this place and enjoying some spirits. Be sure to be kind and patient with the bartenders. I watched them handle all kinds of patrons with grace! While serving amazing drinks

I love how they embrace history with this beautiful piece of nature

Burnt church distillery was something we found when we were just looking for a brewery in the area. I am not much of a liquor person, but I fell in love with this place! They do have cocktails and beer and as you see with the pictures there are so many inviting places to sit and hang out with friends or coworkers or entertain yourself by reading the history wall or just browsing the property. Service was amazing and the gift shop had lots of wonderful swag to choose from. I wasn't expecting to fall in love with this place, but we all did! It's a must try! If you're not a drinker, it is still a very wonderful place to meet up with friends. There is great food and plenty of non-alcoholic choices.

Cool spot. I saw this a couple of times while passing this along the way and wanted to stop. I was a bit disappointed that we weren't able to purchase any small liquor bottles since they stopped selling liquor after 7pm, state law. I never knew that. It would had made a cute christmas gift but unfortunately couldn't get any.

Pretzel sticks with mustard and cheese dip

Amazing ambiance! Staff greeted us promptly on Valentine's Day night when we sat at the bar. We ordered two rounds of drinks and got apps. We got the pretzel sticks which were INCREDIBLE with the mustard. Loved it. We also tried the brussels sprouts which were also lovely (coming from someone who doesn't even like them). 10/10 will be back! The drinks were smooth and well made and with a heavy hand which I enjoyed.

Whiskey flight

Burnt Church was a fun experience. We stopped in after a round of golf. The atmosphere is awesome: stained glass, high vaulted ceilings, wood beams. The architecture was well done and resembles an old church. We got whiskey flights. They give generous pours for small flight glasses! Definitely worth $18. We shared the loaded boneless wings. Honestly, these were the only disappointment of our visit, the wings tasted fine but calling them "loaded" was certainly an overstatement. Overall, this is a fun place to visit and have some drinks in a neat atmosphere.

Other than our waitress being way less than helpful, our visit to the distillery was really fun. The indoor decor is so pretty. They had sampler flights, which was good for someone like me who doesn't know their bourbons. They had a great gift shop with lots of things to purchase from T-shirts to coasters to water bottles to decanters magnets, and of course, all the bourbon to purchase.

Large piece of chicken serve them fried bread with pimento cheese. The sandwich was hot and very tasty. I got it roasted brussels sprouts which were also very good.

Love this distillery in Blufton . Come in to try a tasting or a flight of their whiskey or bourbon or vodka or gin or tequila..... yeah they have plenty to indulge in.... Or have one of their cocktails... traditional ones or check out one of their unique offerings. They do have non-alcoholic cocktails too.... Parking on site. Staff is really great.

A little weird for me with the church and spirits... that aside, the food and service was great! My partner and friends loved the bourbon and whiskey options, being experts in that area. For a lunch or dinner option with friends or family, I'd highly recommend. Good food, drinks and atmosphere.

Paradise, absolutely fabulous. I wish I could bottle this and take it to the beach!

This was the best distillery tour/tastings we've had, in large part due to Clinton's engaging presentation.

The winery has a large property with plenty of space to explore, including what appears to be a small farm with chickens and pigs. On a warm day, the outdoor seating areas with games would likely make for a lovely experience. However, when it came to the wine tasting, the samples were served in plastic cups, which some may actually prefer. But for us, it took away from the overall experience. And most importantly, the wines themselves just didn't impress our palates. We tried a variety of their offerings, but nothing really stood out or compelled us to purchase a bottle to take home. It's a shame, because the setting is really quite nice. But at the end of the day, the wine is the most important factor, and this winery missed the mark for us on that front. If you're in the area and want to spend some time outdoors in a charming environment, it could still be worth a visit. But I wouldn't go out of your way, especially if you're a serious wine enthusiast.

The distillery itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a rustic and charming feel, plenty of parking, and a layout that makes it the perfect place to host an event. Even though all the vendors and some food trucks were unable to make it because of the snow, I still had the chance to enjoy a delicious lobster roll and creamy lobster mac and cheese that were incredible. The flavored moonshine was a real highlight and so much fun to try, and the strawberry lemonade was perfectly refreshing. I loved the cute little photo opp signs and all the fun swag. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit a warm and enjoyable experience. Scotty C, this would be the perfect spot to host a Yelp event or any special gathering for that matter! I am already planning to come back for a tour next time. The distillery itself is just stunning and there is so much to explore. Everything from the beautiful setting to the delicious drinks and food, to the friendly staff, makes Firefly Distillery a must-visit destination.

My mother and I showed up at 12:15 pm for a fun, intentional afternoon out only to discover the gates closed and a plethora of cars coming in and turning around (like we did). I went online and there was no update, no indication as they why they apparently cancelled the event. It had simply disappeared from the page. I had been looking forward to learning more about the distillery but now I will never plan on an event at this location again, and honestly, not interested in wasting time coming for any other reason. Have the professionalism to at least update the event cancellation information. In the short time we were there, at least 20 cars came in and turned around. This had real impact on people.

Hardscoop Distellery has a physical location on Clements Ferry Rd., but their ice cream is sold at liquor stores and Harris Teeter. I recently attended a tasting, where I tried the ice cream and learned more about it- and I've since become a fan and customer. Not only is Hardscoop made locally, but they also use local products. The price is very reasonable for the quality of ingredients as well as the alcohol content. A container of Hardscoop is cheaper than one fancy cocktail, and you can eat the whole container in your pajamas while binge-watching Netflix on the couch, with no judgement. Win win. Hardscoop regularly sells vanilla, chocolate, and coffee ice creams, but also offers seasonal flavors like peach sorbet. I tried each flavor, and the chocolate is hands-down my favorite. These ice creams are 16 proof, except the peach sorbet which is 21 proof. Needless to say, it packs a punch, so keep it away from the kiddos (or the lightweights). I can't wait to try some of the seasonal flavors. Rumor has it there will be a pumpkin spice flavor at the end of September, too.
