Specials for the wrist bands

This was my 3rd tour with these folks and to be honest this was probably the worst one I've been on. My other 2 were way better. Better trolleys and better stops. We just kept going in circles and ending back at the city market. The audio system wasn't working and that's part of the fun. So... I don't want to overshadow my other great experience, but this particular time was not as good as the others.

What an absolute blast of a bike tour! We had Cal as our tour guide and let me just say he was easily the most love able "Chill Bro" tour guide I've ever had. If you're looking for a G rated incredibly informative dry ride then this may not be for you. However as a party of 5 looking for a fun time with a sprinkle of some Savannah history Cal was just the guy for us. He really had us laughing and enjoying the moment every pedal of the way there. I wish we could've stopped at a few more bars but it's still enough to have you feeling a bit buzzed by the end. They also give you wrist bands that give you discounts at a little more than a handful of bars in the area. The pedaling can be tough at times but if you've got a good group working together then it's manageable still expect to break a sweat! This was our first bike tour ride and I'm happy to report it was a blast of an experience.

We always have such a great time on the pub crawl. This last time, we had Jimmy. He was Fantastic!! If you get him as your driver, be sure to ask him about "Thunderstruck". No matter what, you'll have an amazing time!

My friends and I had SUCH a great experience with Savannah Slow Ride. Corey, our driver, was helpful and so much fun. He had drink recommendations for every bar we stopped at. Shout out to the SSR staff for making this such an enjoyable experience!

Was so much fun! Peddle difficulty wasn't bad at all. Recommend for a small or big group. Really good drink deals were included with price of ticket.

The pedaling can be some work, but if you're in decent shape a Savannah Slow Ride can be super fun. Most of the people doing it are young, but at my ripe age of 73 I had no problem not only keeping up with the pedaling but with the drinking as well. Fact is my experience was just the proof of the fact that old age, treachery and years of overindulgent drinking will overcome youth and beauty every time. LOL! But, true! Oh, and I also confess to have enjoyed having some of the younger girls asking me if I would be their Daddy for the evening. Hahaha! First be award that all rides are not the same. They have a distinctive offering of six ranging from the infamous Pub Crawl (that of course is the one I did), to the Highlights of Architecture. It all sort of depends what your mood might be and what you are into. But one of the most important aspects for fun happens to be your riding companions especially if on the Pub Crawl because hooting, drinking and laughter are best when shared with others and my pedicycle crew did plenty of all three. And yes, the only power comes from the crew pedaling. There is no other source of power and the unique reason for that being if there were a power source other than your legs, they couldn't serve beer or have everyone aboard drinking or three sheets to the wind sloshed.

This was so much fun for a bachelorette party event!!! Justin was so funny and made our ride so entertaining! We had a blast going to the different bars and even trying the recommendations from our driver (get the empanadas at Mint to Be!). Thank you Justin and SSR! So much fun!!

This is my 3rd time doing a pedal pub and this one was the worst. First of all we booked this for my friend who is leaving the area and she really wanted to do something fun. We book the "pedal pub" in advance. The night before we all got a text saying there wasn't enough people to do the pedal pub but we can do the ghost tour one. I wasn't too happy with the change up, if you were to ask me I would want a refund but they never offered that to us, just a reschedule. We got another text letting us know where to met up. First of all I live in Savannah and I know my way around.... you can't just give us an address lady. I would have liked a "met us under the "pedal pub sign at this location" We get there, check in sign the waiver and wait for our tour. Our driver was ok, kinda acted like he didn't want to be there. We were able to listen to music but it was soooo quite!!!!! I understand not wanting all of Savannah to hear our music but I could barely hear it in the back. Now the "ghost tour" part was just plain sad! He took us to the steep stairs and told us 5 people have died.....the end. Then we went to the first bar. We had 15 min. at each bar which was fine. The thing I didn't care for was we were at one stop and clearly no one wanted to get off. Well instead of leaving and giving us extra time at the last location we just sat there...... and he told us a ghost story of a hotel that we weren't even hear... The story wasn't all that great and people clearly didn't care for it. Some lady kept talking and he would say "let me finish" I think he finally gave up and went to the next stop. When we got back everyone was already gone and no one asked how it was or anything they just kind of stood there until we left. I wouldn't use this company again. If you want a great company you should check out Pedal Pub they are wonderful!

What a fun experience! We had 10 in my group so we took up the whole thing. Rose was cool even with our antics.. she took control and got us to each place safely. We would all recommend this tour to anyone and plan to do it again ourselves.

Our…read moredriver, Jared, was absolutely wonderful--he has such a great personality and was incredibly engaging throughout the ride. We chose to do the full loop first so we could hear Jared's complete narration before hopping off to explore. It was the perfect decision! He shared fascinating details about Savannah's rich history, along with some lesser-known fun facts that really brought the city to life. The tour sparked our excitement to visit spots we might have overlooked otherwise. The hop-on hop-off format worked brilliantly for us. Buses arrived quickly at each stop--we rarely waited long--and the stops are conveniently located near all the main tourist attractions. It got a bit crowded toward the end of the day (around 5 p.m.), and we occasionally had to wait for the next bus, but overall, it was seamless and stress-free. One small suggestion: I wish the tours ran a little later than 5 p.m. It would be ideal for avoiding parking hassles and enjoying dinner downtown--there are so many delicious restaurants to try! We highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting an easy, informative, and enjoyable way to see Savannah. Thanks to Jared for making it memorable!

A Must Do! This Remarkable Tour is told by Savannah's 2025 "Remarkable Woman of the Year" Patt Gunn…read more(Sistah Patt), CEO of the Underground Tours of Savannah! At the last minute, we scheduled Sistah Patt's Tour, and honestly this is by far the BEST ONE, and we did several here and in Charleston, while visiting from California. Sistah Patt is incredible and inspirational, fact-telling, and is currently in projects in Savannah, bringing proper recognition and truth-telling. I wish I had done a little research on her, as I did after leaving her tour...oh my, I probably would have asked so many more questions, I had no idea of the advocate she is. Let me leave you with this: Who in Savannah can change a Squares name, from Confederate Vice President (Calhoun), to Taylor Square, to honor Susie King Taylor, born into slavery, who became the 1st Black nurse to serve in the Civil War and later open a school for African Americans in Savannah? YES, Patt Gunn Can, and it happened only 2 years ago! This is the Tour you will want to do. This is the "Remarkable Woman" you will want to share/ask/listen to.

With that being said, upon researching the area, Dan's tour came up as almost unanimously the best thing to do in Savannah. To say we learnt a lot and had a great time would be an understatement, Dan gave us a broad overview of many elements of Savannah's rich and diverse history. We were visiting from Florida, so we knew it would be hot, but as it was a very shaded route with plenty of stops it was not an issue. As Dan advices on the website, pack water, and sunscreen. The walk itself is very dog friendly and at a leisurely pace suited to all levels of fitness. Finding dog friendly activities is always high on our list, and plus the wealth of knowledge and passion Dan has it was a no brainer! Due to the heat, some other guests had to reschedule their time, so we were lucky enough to have a private tour, which probably would be worth an additional star on its own! Dan as a host was witty, engaging and brought Savannah to life. We have already recommended Savannah Dan to multiple people and will continue to moving forward.
