Lucy did a great job with our tour. Great storyteller and kept everyone engaged. Her passion comes through and she made the experience great. Cool to hear some history and some ghost stories. Highlight of our trip.

5 stars - Genuinely Haunted and Hilarious! If you're in Savannah and don't take a ghost tour with Austin, you're missing out on a paranormal party. Austin is the perfect blend of spooky storyteller and stand-up comic--he had us laughing one minute and looking over our shoulders the next. I'm 90% sure one of the ghosts followed us home, but at least they're now well-informed and entertained. Austin's tales are chilling, witty, and totally unforgettable. Bonus points for making history feel like a ghostly gossip session. Highly recommend--just maybe leave a nightlight on afterward.

We booked the "Dead of Night" 9 PM tour. Rebecca was an incredible guide. She was animated and knowledgeable. It was clear she cared about what she was doing. She adapted well to things that came up-like opportunities to answer questions or crack a couple jokes to create some levity around heavy topics. She told the stories in a very engaging way, while maintaining an appropriate reverence. 5/5 stars. 3/5 spookies. Overall it was an excellent experience!

I insisted on a ghost tour during our recent visit to Savannah in order that my husband got a fun and full experience his first time there. We booked the 9:30 pm walking Dead of Night Tour and it was amazing! Henry was our guide and he had a great mix of seriousness and humor when regaling the group with the history and tales associated with each spot on the tour. Talk about masterful delivery! I assume he has some improv experience because he pitched his voice to create a mood and took his dramatic time recounting each story. And when we were strolling to the next stop on the tour, he took the opportunity to have a friendly chat people in the group so that, by the end, he'd spoken to everyone. I definitely recommend this tour and I hope that you're lucky enough to get Henry as your guide.

Went on the Dead of Night Tour and had Crow as the tour guide. Crow was very knowledgeable about the city, the architecture, and of course the ghosts! An absolute delight to tour with, I would recommend anybody interested in macabre history or ghosts or Savannah in general take this tour.

We signed up for the Haunted Pub Crawl. Started the tour at Churchills, we had about 20 in our group. I was afraid it would be hard to hear the guide, but it worked out fine. He brought us to places where we could gather around when he told stories. The guide had a quirky personality and was very knowledgeable on the history of Savannah. The problem was that we couldn't tell when he was kidding, embellishing or totally making up the story. I was really excited for the tour and looking forward to the historical element. We would walk for a bit, than stop at a bar. We stopped at 3 bars in the 90 minute tour. I almost felt like it was more about bringing business to the bars than a ghost tour. Drinks are not included in the ticket price. The first bar we stopped at they were promoting the Chatham Artillery punch, it wasn't cheap, but I love the idea of trying something specific to what I am doing. It had a lot of different liquors in it and claimed to be strong, I was worried that it would hit me- it did not. It is questionable if it had any liquor in it at all. The others in the group kept gradually dismissing themselves, I think we were down to 5 at the end if that says anything. The tour guide did keep bringing up tipping him, to a point where it was uncomfortable. I respect the need to bring it up, but not continuously. The tour was $30. and it was a nice night out, so we toured some of Savannah and grabbed some drinks. I wouldn't do it again, but not the worst $30 bucks I've spent.

With that being said, upon researching the area, Dan's tour came up as almost unanimously the best thing to do in Savannah. To say we learnt a lot and had a great time would be an understatement, Dan gave us a broad overview of many elements of Savannah's rich and diverse history. We were visiting from Florida, so we knew it would be hot, but as it was a very shaded route with plenty of stops it was not an issue. As Dan advices on the website, pack water, and sunscreen. The walk itself is very dog friendly and at a leisurely pace suited to all levels of fitness. Finding dog friendly activities is always high on our list, and plus the wealth of knowledge and passion Dan has it was a no brainer! Due to the heat, some other guests had to reschedule their time, so we were lucky enough to have a private tour, which probably would be worth an additional star on its own! Dan as a host was witty, engaging and brought Savannah to life. We have already recommended Savannah Dan to multiple people and will continue to moving forward.

At the last minute, we scheduled Sistah Patt's Tour, and honestly this is by far the BEST ONE, and we did several here and in Charleston, while visiting from California. Sistah Patt is incredible and inspirational, fact-telling, and is currently in projects in Savannah, bringing proper recognition and truth-telling. I wish I had done a little research on her, as I did after leaving her tour...oh my, I probably would have asked so many more questions, I had no idea of the advocate she is. Let me leave you with this: Who in Savannah can change a Squares name, from Confederate Vice President (Calhoun), to Taylor Square, to honor Susie King Taylor, born into slavery, who became the 1st Black nurse to serve in the Civil War and later open a school for African Americans in Savannah? YES, Patt Gunn Can, and it happened only 2 years ago! This is the Tour you will want to do. This is the "Remarkable Woman" you will want to share/ask/listen to.
