Josh gave us a great tour, and the food was pretty good as well. We made 5 stops over about 3 hours and glad we did!!

Our guide Joshua was awesome - funny, knowledgeable and patient. We mixed up the time of the tour and he accommodated us without delaying the rest of the group. Delicious food and a highlight of our trip to Savannah.

I had an excellent experience. My sister and I were visiting Savannah just for a weekend and this was an excellent use of our time Saturday. Lisa gave us so much great information about the city and places to go to eat and drink.

Biscuits and gravy from Quinn's (I'd already eaten half of it)

This is our second tour, which was very different from the first. Both were amazing! This time we had a delicious chicken sandwich, biscuits and gravy, fried green tomatoes, boiled peanuts, an empanada that rivaled my Dad's recipe from Panama, in addition to Leopold's ice cream. I should have worn stretch pants. Plus our tour guide, "Country", provided a comedy show at no extra charge. We'll certainly be back again!

I highly recommend it. It was entertaining, educational, and fun. It was a leisurely, pleasant stroll with our guide, Beck. Restaurants and food selections will not disappoint. We returned to Common later that evening and saw that some of our tour friends had the same idea. Could you do it? You will enjoy Beck, who kept us informed and amused for the three hours that passed so quickly!

I had a tour on a Saturday afternoon in January. Chris led our tour and was a pleasure! He was so knowledgeable and friendly. Super accommodating for some others that needed a vegetarian meal at the last minute. The food was delicious and filling! We stopped at 5 different places and I enjoyed each- 1- pickled olives and pecan log 2- she crab soup 3- shrimp and grits 4- avocado toast (pork belly sliders on a mini donut for the meat eaters!) 5- honey tasting I had a great time and would recommend this tour to others.

Our guide Cathy was very joyful and passionate about guiding tours. She was funny, quirky and knowledgeable. I might suggest not holding traffic back so dramatically as drivers might be perturbed by that approach but otherwise great. I was disappointed SQ22 was removed from our route but what we tried was fine. The tastes were moderately portioned. I would have enjoyed heftier and more unique, flavorful, foodie additions to the tour. We enjoyed the stories and walks thru the parks along the way.

This was such a great experience. The group size was great with 14 people. Gail was very knowledgeable. All of the food offerings were delicious! I wish we would have gone earlier in our visit to Savannah so we could have maybe gone back to one of the restaurants. Highly recommend this tour!

First off if you are debating doing it and come to see the reviews, it is 100% worth it. Our tour…read moreguide was incredible. His name was Brendan. Yes with and E not an A. (He made many jokes about that). This was so perfect for our first day because you are able to hear so much about the city and learn it's history. My girlfriend is gluten free and they gave her alternative food at each one so it was super great. You go to six different places and I will review each one. But seriously our tour guide did such a great job and if you go I hope you get him! This is perfect for your first day of a trip just to get exposed to everything. It was just enough food to get full. 22 square- This was the first place and the meeting place. You got a small thing of shrimp and grits. I will say I wanted 5 more plates because it tasted so good and so fresh. They make it with truffle oil and it was fantastic. River house seafood- This was the lobster bisque. It had wonderful flavor but I do wish it was chunky. The lobster was blended so it was small. There was enough of it, but I wish there were chunks in it. Still great. The little crown - This was a bakery/pastry place. You get a sausage biscuit and the pastry had a hint of onion. It just sat in your gut but tasted so good. There was so much sausage in it. Congress street up- Here had the prohibition Museum. It was good and cool. The food wasn't much just snacks but the history part was really cool to hear about. This one was a immersive experience. Molly McPherson - This was my least favorite. Not that it was bad, it was just unexciting. There was Shepards pie. Savannah bee company - This place is amazing. I hate honey but everyone else thought it was so good. They gave us such great explanations of everything. Four kinds of honey and a really great apple dessert. You will buy more things here!!! So remember that. Definitely worth doing this tour. Everything was fantastic.

She…read morekicked things off right on time and clearly explained what to expect -- how many stops we'd have, how long each one would take, and what was included. Her funny, upbeat, and sweet demeanor set the tone immediately and made the whole group smile. Our group included about ten guests from various parts of the East Coast, and although that felt like a lot at first, Crystin did an amazing job making sure everyone could hear and stay engaged. Between each stop, she shared fascinating bits of Charleston history -- from local architecture to the stories behind churches and Philadelphia Street -- which added great context between all the delicious bites. Food Highlights: * Port of Call: We sampled chicken bog, and Crystin explained the dish's origins and regional variations. Several guests mentioned it was their favorite of the tour. * Oyster House: Shrimp and grits, she-crab soup, hush puppies, praline brown butter, and pimento cheese -- all delicious and generously portioned. I especially enjoyed learning about the history of she-crab soup. Honestly, there was so much food that I couldn't finish it all! * Well Hung Vineyard: Cola-braised short ribs served with vegetables and bacon flakes -- tender, flavorful, and perfectly presented. Crystin shared the background of the restaurant and its owners. Drinks were optional (and worth it); I tried the blood orange martini while others opted for wine flights. * Market Street Stops: We visited three more spots for sweets, pastries, and biscuits. While I'm not much of a dessert person, these places gave great insight into Market Street's history -- including stories about earthquakes, flooding, and rebuilding. Overall, this was truly a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend for couples, families, or any food lover who enjoys walking, eating, and learning. Spending our first day in Charleston on this tour with Crystin was the perfect way to kick off our trip!

Loved the info on why it is called She Crab Soup. Robin was able to answer all the questions, whether history or food related. Really enjoyed the she crab soup and the short ribs. Those were my favorites. Large quantities, was a large lunch for us. Good to walk between places, too. Highly recommend the secret tours and will try them in our home city, too. Ty Robin!

We chose to do the full loop first so we could hear Jared's complete narration before hopping off to explore. It was the perfect decision! He shared fascinating details about Savannah's rich history, along with some lesser-known fun facts that really brought the city to life. The tour sparked our excitement to visit spots we might have overlooked otherwise. The hop-on hop-off format worked brilliantly for us. Buses arrived quickly at each stop--we rarely waited long--and the stops are conveniently located near all the main tourist attractions. It got a bit crowded toward the end of the day (around 5 p.m.), and we occasionally had to wait for the next bus, but overall, it was seamless and stress-free. One small suggestion: I wish the tours ran a little later than 5 p.m. It would be ideal for avoiding parking hassles and enjoying dinner downtown--there are so many delicious restaurants to try! We highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting an easy, informative, and enjoyable way to see Savannah. Thanks to Jared for making it memorable!
