John John & Echo were our wonderful undead hosts!! They really knew how to haunt us well!! I think they were engaging and comical without being too cheesy which sometimes happens on tours. I have to first say that the trolley was warm and comfortable which I hadn't read in other comments and I thought people would want to know, especially , after experiencing an unusual cold spell. The tour was a good length and we really enjoyed the 2 stops to the Andrew Low house and the shipyard. The acting was great which kept you very engaged. Thank you to all the staff who were very professional making this ghost tour a ghoulish night of fun!! Kudos to Echo & John John again .....RIP

Here's an honest review of the Ghosts & Gravestones Tour that you see taking folks around Savannah in a black trolley. Overall for the price, I don't think this tour was worth it. You only see ONE historical location & it's a bit gimmicky if you're used to more facts-based stories. Our guides name was Echo- she was great. Easy to understand, told great stories, and was pretty thorough. Our drivers name was Alann (I believe that was his name & the spelling although I never saw his name tag). He told us some fun facts & how he's visited the tunnels underneath the city, what they were like, & that unfortunately they don't allow visitors down there anymore. It was a nice tidbit. My wife and I are young adults & we were going back-and-forth on a few tours- some walking tours & some trolley tours. We both really like museums and historical artifacts. Less theatrical based & more historical based (I don't necessarily need it to be "scary" just accurate facts are what we were looking for). The main reason we chose this tour was because we thought you got to see TWO different locations that were historical/haunted. Respectfully, that's just flat out a LIE. You only get to visit ONE historical place. The other is just a theatrical set-up disguised to look old when in reality, it isn't. That's what got me though & annoyed me the most; our guide told us before reaching the second destination that "the pieces in this building are so fragile that you can't bring your phones in as the blue light in them can destroy the old artifacts. And that the building is kept at a crisp 60 degrees to preserve them." Believing this was true, I left my phone on the trolley & then we proceeded to sit through a 25-30 minutes theatrical style "tales" show with little props & fog/mist. ‍ I will say the gal they had acting it out did a great job, but again not for me. It gives a tacky, gimmicky vibe that cheapened the whole experience. After the show, it makes you question every other story they told you throughout the tour because they so easily lied about this, it made us both question "was this all just a theatrical tales based tour" or was any of the previous facts true? After this you pretty much just drive back & they drop you off. I think this tour has SO much potential if it could allow you to stop at another REAL historical location- even if it's just the Colonial Park Cemetery that we drove by & they talked about during the tour. They could stop us there & allow us to get out & walk around the cemetery explaining who's buried there & more interesting facts. Our guide, Echo told us that it's closed at night but I don't think it would be too hard to get a key & access it only for those on the tour. It wouldn't require any extra employees like the previous house you visit that IS staffed & historical. Just an idea because you guys gotta change up the tacky jumpscare show!

We barely had a full day to spend in Savannah, Georgia during our roadtrip and being that this was my first time in Georgia, I thought that a spontaneous ghost tour would be fun! After dinner, we booked the tour while walking past the kiosk down by the river. We had discussed doing a ghost tour but nothing was set in stone. We figured a trolly ride around the town with some spooky stories would be a great way to see a little glimpse of Savannah without losing our hotel parking spot (our hotel was literally a two minute walk down to the river so this was perfect)! The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our tour guide was Madame Rouge and honestly, I wanted to be her friend. She was so funny, kind, and knowledgeable. She was a great story teller, too. I think I stood out too much because I was one of her victims for the night, which made for a good laugh. The tour was honestly just a nice way to take a trolly ride. The ghosts stories were interesting but if you're looking for something paranormal, this isn't it. Even though there is an age limit to the tour, it felt as if it were for teenagers or young adults that are curious about the spirit world. We took several stops to houses and I didn't feel a thing (I'm very sensitive to spirits, if you believe in that sort of thing, and have countless stories). So again, if you're looking for something paranormal, look elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a quick fun thing to do one evening in Savannah, this is a solid tour.

This was a great tour! We had a lot of fun and quite a few scares. The tour takes you all around the historic district in Savannah showing you haunted spots and telling really cool stories on the tour. There are two stops where we actually got off of the bus and walked into a haunted mansion, the first Girl Scouts site (the Lowe museum). That was really cool and I took a lot of pictures. I swear I caught an orb in one of my photos. The trolly is handicap accessible. There are railings on the bus and the tour guides were great. We had Olive as our bus guide and Trey was our bus driver. Sooo knowledgeable. Totally fun. Definitely--you should do this tour!

I know this may be a bit overdue as we did the tour on December 24, during our stay in Savannah. The narration was spot on, Echo, ournarrator very witty and the experience unforgettable. I'd join again in a heartbeat!

Wow what a solid ghost tour! I was very happy with our guide Mazie and our driver Sandy who made the tour fun and enjoyable. I hadn't done any research prior so was pleasantly surprised at our first stop, the Lowe home where we toured a beautiful old home and heard great stories about creepy occurrences. This was the home of the woman who found the Girl Scouts. After traveling throughout Savannah and hearing some good ghost tales the last stop was inside an old building on River Street where some great tales are spun in a fun theatrical presentation. This tour was worth the money and would be appropriate for all ages and entertaining for the whole family.

    JoJo was a great guide!

Last time I was in Savannah I did the day tour, so I wanted to experience the Ghosts & Graveyards this time. First, the weather was perfect, clear and cool. Second, JoJo was an awesome guide. Third, I am so jet-lagged from 15 hours of travel I forgot the drivers name, but I think it was Mary, anyway, she was great and got us through some tight spaces. It was fun being able to get out a bit. On the regular trolley it's only a guided sit down tour. This time we got to tour a "haunted" house and experience a little show. But it was also a neat haunted history tour as well. So it complements the day tour. As it's own tour it might be hard to follow if you haven't done the day tour. I would recommend doing both if you're in the area. There are walking tours, but this was a nice overall tour of Savannah's haunts and I am glad I did this. My next tour will be a walking tour.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was fun, educational and informative. Maria was our guide and she did an unbelievable job sharing various stories and folklore about different murders and deaths in Savannah, along with the mystical ghost sightings as well. TJ, our driver, was an excellent partner for Maria, adding his own antics while driving us throughout the streets and areas of Savannah. The whole tour lasted about an hour and it's fun for the whole family. I would definitely recommend this for an adventurous night out.

Beckett and Sunny were amazing. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys a good history of ghosts in the city! 10/10!!

Awesome tour. Tori and Billy were great. Loved that we got to have two haunted places to stop and explore during the tour.

We chose to do the full loop first so we could hear Jared's complete narration before hopping off to explore. It was the perfect decision! He shared fascinating details about Savannah's rich history, along with some lesser-known fun facts that really brought the city to life. The tour sparked our excitement to visit spots we might have overlooked otherwise. The hop-on hop-off format worked brilliantly for us. Buses arrived quickly at each stop--we rarely waited long--and the stops are conveniently located near all the main tourist attractions. It got a bit crowded toward the end of the day (around 5 p.m.), and we occasionally had to wait for the next bus, but overall, it was seamless and stress-free. One small suggestion: I wish the tours ran a little later than 5 p.m. It would be ideal for avoiding parking hassles and enjoying dinner downtown--there are so many delicious restaurants to try! We highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting an easy, informative, and enjoyable way to see Savannah. Thanks to Jared for making it memorable!

To say we learnt a lot and had a great time would be an understatement, Dan gave us a broad overview of many elements of Savannah's rich and diverse history. We were visiting from Florida, so we knew it would be hot, but as it was a very shaded route with plenty of stops it was not an issue. As Dan advices on the website, pack water, and sunscreen. The walk itself is very dog friendly and at a leisurely pace suited to all levels of fitness. Finding dog friendly activities is always high on our list, and plus the wealth of knowledge and passion Dan has it was a no brainer! Due to the heat, some other guests had to reschedule their time, so we were lucky enough to have a private tour, which probably would be worth an additional star on its own! Dan as a host was witty, engaging and brought Savannah to life. We have already recommended Savannah Dan to multiple people and will continue to moving forward.

The whole situation felt like a setup designed to trap unsuspecting visitors. It's hard not to believe there is some level of coordination when towing happens so fast in an area with no posted restrictions. The towing fees were outrageous, and the process to retrieve my car added insult to injury. What should have been a pleasant Savannah experience turned into a costly and stressful ordeal. Tourists beware: if you're anywhere near Savannah Carriage Tours, be extremely cautious about where you park--even if it looks legitimate. This experience seriously soured my visit, and I would not recommend supporting a business operating in an area where situations like this are allowed to happen.
