Ryan is awesome. The tour was great! Different stops than other tours I've been on. Ryan provides EVP evidence and photos at each location. He also offers to send the case files for each location. We made a stop at Moon River Brewery. It was a great time! Super informative & creepy. I highly recommend over any other ghost tour! Great customer service, one of my friends couldn't make it to town because of the hurricane and Ryan refunded the ticket. I appreciate that since their policy is all sales final.

I was disappointed. I envisioned the tour taking us into scary old buildings with paranormal activity. I hoped the hair on the back of my neck would stand up as I felt a cold spot in the empty room. Alas, the "ghost" tour was more like a walking history tour of downtown St. Augustine. We never went inside any buildings or in any way entered into a situation that felt "paranormal". Even though the guide used a small PA system it was still difficult to hear what he was saying much of the time. Granted, it was during the Nights of Lights celebration so a spooky vibe would have been difficult among the festivities but the tour was more comical than menacing.

We have been on many ghost tours in many cities and this was by far the best. It is all based on investigated facts. If you want "ghost stories" based on rumors then this is not for you. If you want the real deal on Savannah's haunted history based on facts then this is the one for you. Our tour guide Ray was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He had answers to all of our questions. The owner is also amazing and accommodating. We will do this again. read more

Great tour worth the time and money. Ryan was really informative and accurate with all he imparted to us. They will even give you a more extensive research packet on the areas in the tours if you want them. they are also paranormal investigator, so have personal haunting evidence that they share with you during the tour for each location that is truly chilling. It was so good we did both the 8 and 10 o'clock tours in the same night read more

Took the tour last night. Very interesting information that seems to be accurate. I found this to be more entertaining than the other ghost tours that have gimmicks and stories. The audio and video recordings of the ghosts were also believable. I would recommend this tour. read more

Brock was a fabulous guide! The stories were great and the audio and video made for a legitimately spooky experience. Just the right amount of scare with a healthy dose of humor. Bonus points for the bathroom break halfway through. 10/10 would do this tour again. read more

we toured Savannah last year with Ryan. 5+stars!! This year we went to St Augustine with Nick. It was good but it would have been great had he talked slower. None of us could understand half of what he said. He was super nice and very entertaining but to be honest he spoke so fast it was difficult to understand him. My husband and I took the Voices of the Dead tour. Our guide, Ray, was phenomenal! Each location had a factual story, with video or audio evidence. It was creepy, sad, shocking, and gasp worthy all at the same time. I had goose bumps almost the entire tour and can't stop talking about all the things we heard. If you like creepy/scary that goes beyond just a few ghost stories this is definitely the ghost tour for you! read more

We choose the Afterlife Tour and we're very impressed with the knowledge of our tour guide, the audio recordings of the locations, and actually walking and visiting a supposed haunted site. Our guide Ryan who does haunting investigation for a living did a great job and is a native to Savannah. We had a small group of 6 for the 10pm tour which made it alot easier to ask questions. I would highly suggest this tour if you like the whole experience of physically walking onto a site, hearing audio of the supposed ghost and getting to stop by a bar to grab a drink. read more

It was a great tour with Bill! He knew his stuff and was a great story teller. My only recommendation is there is a lot of dead/quiet time in between the stops. It made the walk kind of hot and miserable with it being quiet and nothing to take our minds off it. But I would totally do another tour with you guys! Also, I got a photo of something creepy looking at the fort :-) read more

When I booked my trip to Savannah, I knew a ghost tour was going to be part of my itinerary. I did some research ahead of the trip because I did not want a cheesy tour. I wanted a tour that gave both history and supported, factual paranormal evidence. This is that tour. The tour takes about an hour and a half and you walk around to various haunted sites in Savannah. It's so interesting to hear and see the evidence that supports the tour guides' story. One of the creepiest things he told us was how many unmarked graves there are in Savannah. You basically spend the entire tour walking over an unmarked cemetery! We did the 8 pm tour with about 10 other people and it was the perfect size. We stopped at a bar a long the way to get our booze refilled and the tour guide kept a good pace. We saw about five different locations where hauntings occurred and at each location, we got the scoop behind the story. You visit a haunted house, a haunted inn, a theatre, a church and a graveyard. Very good mix of sites! The only thing I would have changed is that instead of us walking and talking about random things between locations, I wish the tour guide kept talking about his research as we walked from location to location because I wanted to hear more about his work! read more

We had a great time on this tour. I love that we stopped at the little pub to get drinks and we could walk around with them. The host/owner Ryan is well prepared and knowledgeable. He tells you the lore and the truth about the various places we visited. He has recording for the ghost voiced for the different sites. He was loud enough that the whole group could hear him and he made sure we all heard the ghost voice recordings. His stories were so interesting that I bought his book off amazon after we all parted ways. read more

It probably would have been more fun to do the later tour since it was still light out at 8 when the tour started but we cant stay up that late :) wear comfy shoes! read more

Afterlife Tours is a walking ghost tour through the heart of Savannah's historic district. Every stop on the tour has been investigated by the tour guide, Ryan Dunn, who is also a founding member of Savannah's own 3-D Ghost Hunters. The tour will feature REAL paranormal evidence captured by his team at every location. Ryan Dunn and the 3-D Ghost Hunters have been featured on A&E Biography's hit television show "My Ghost Story:Caught on Camera," which featured their Savannah Theatre investigation. They also have their own series entitled "Spooky Town" with WJCL ABC News and WTGS FOX News here in Savannah. In addition, every location has been thoroughly researched at the Georgia Historical Society, so all stories are 100% true.

History

Established in 2013.

In 2010, Ryan Dunn and his wife, Kim, founded the 3-D Ghost Hunters, a local paranormal investigation team here in Savannah, Georgia. Over the past three years, Ryan and Kim Dunn, along with their photographer, Ryan Reese, have investigated the most haunted locations in Savannah, including the Pirate's House Restaurant, the Moon River Brewing Company, the 17hundred90 Inn, the Pink House Restaurant, Fort McAllister, as well as many other well known haunts. They have spent countless hours researching city directories, obituaries, death certificates,and other pertinent information in order to compile a complete history of every location that they have investigated. In 2013, Ryan and Kim Dunn opened Afterlife Tours, which features evidence and history compiled from the 3-D Ghost Hunters' years of diligent research. It got a bit crowded toward the end of the day (around 5 p.m.), and we occasionally had to wait for the next bus, but overall, it was seamless and stress-free. One small suggestion: I wish the tours ran a little later than 5 p.m. It would be ideal for avoiding parking hassles and enjoying dinner downtown--there are so many delicious restaurants to try! We highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting an easy, informative, and enjoyable way to see Savannah. Thanks to Jared for making it memorable!

Passing through Savannah on road trip we were just in town for one day and a night, so had to…read moreprioritize what we wanted to do. With that being said, upon researching the area, Dan's tour came up as almost unanimously the best thing to do in Savannah. To say we learnt a lot and had a great time would be an understatement, Dan gave us a broad overview of many elements of Savannah's rich and diverse history. We were visiting from Florida, so we knew it would be hot, but as it was a very shaded route with plenty of stops it was not an issue. As Dan advices on the website, pack water, and sunscreen. The walk itself is very dog friendly and at a leisurely pace suited to all levels of fitness. Finding dog friendly activities is always high on our list, and plus the wealth of knowledge and passion Dan has it was a no brainer! Due to the heat, some other guests had to reschedule their time, so we were lucky enough to have a private tour, which probably would be worth an additional star on its own! Dan as a host was witty, engaging and brought Savannah to life. We have already recommended Savannah Dan to multiple people and will continue to moving forward.

My friends and I had decided that we wanted to attend a ghost tour but were a little torn about which one. We checked out the Savannah Visitor Center on River Street and were looking through the various brochures. Nothing seemed to catch our attention, as we wanted something a little more adult and spooky- and so many of the tours advertised that children were welcome. We asked the woman at the desk at the visitor center if she had one she recommended and she told us that she had recently seen a few things on A&E about the group that runs Afterlife Tours. She noted that she has been a Savannah resident for approximately 14 years and this is the first ghost tour that has caught her attention. The tour was incredible. A few of the members in our party had been on ghost tours before, but nothing compared to this. Usually it's just a tour guide spewing ghost stories everyone has heard for years while walking around the town. Ryan was different. He is a paranormal investigator and had spent many hours researching and investigating the locations he took us to see. Each story was enhanced with EVP and video recordings of spirits Ryan and his team had come in contact with personally during their investigations. Ryan has clearly thoroughly researched the history of each location- as he did not hesitate to let us know that a few beloved and long-held Savannah haunting stories were simply untrue. My boyfriend and I booked the 10:30 pm tour on a Wednesday night, and we just so happen to be the only people who booked the tour. We were very grateful that they didn't cancel on us for lack of guest. Nick was our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing. He gave us a private tour of all the ghost spots in the city and recounted really great historical information. He's an awesome storyteller and knows how to keep you captivated and wanting to hear more. make sure you tip him if he's your guide! He is well worth it! We will certainly be going to savannah to take the ghost tour there as well! read more

We were incredibly impressed by the investigative skills of Afterlife Tours. At each stop, they detailed how Afterlife Tours came to understand the full story of the haunted location. They investigate locations by staying overnight for several nights and even track down old records in various museums and archives. It is clear they do their work to give you a historically accurate story. Additionally, our tour guide, Ray, was a fantastic story teller and was very knowledgeable of each location and all things Savannah. Afterlife Tours is the BEST in Savannah if you're looking for true stories! They not only have the history behind the haunted buildings, but they also have the capability to research paranormal activity. They will even share real recordings that they've captured during they're paranormal investigations! Ray was our tour guide (July 2022) and was great at sharing the history behind each building we visited along the walking tour. Im normally a pretty realistic rater but when it comes to this walking tour i'd give it a solid 5 stars. Rae, our guide, made the whole experience a lot more funny and exciting with his constant jokes and scares. He made sure everyone was laughing and having a good time and overall was the best tour guide ever. I'd like to personally thank him (if he ever sees this) for giving me a night to remember. Our guide, Raymond Chrisit was fantastic. I only know his name because he called me when I was late for the 8 o'clock tour. My wife and I left our hotel in plenty of time to arrive in Telfair Sq. In plenty of time, had my phone not sabotaged us directionally speaking. Anyway, Raymond (and the other guests) graciously waited for us. We went on to have a great tour. He was a wealth of knowledge about the history of Savannah and provided tidbits of information all along our route as he led us to each of the stops on the tour and kept us entertained. Our walking tour took us through historical locations in Savannah GA. Our guide shared not only paranormal evidence obtained along the locations of our tour, he also shared an in depth history of the buildings and people associated with each of our stops. We went with Ryan on a 10pm tour and couldn't be any happier. He not only talked about the haunted history of Savannah but had his own evidence to back it up. Its not you usual ghost tour with a talking guide, Ryan does his own investigations in these places with his team and takes you on a trip to what they have found. Very Well Done! read more

We had a 10 pm tour with Ray! I had my 1 year old who accompanied me on the tour and everyone was great about her being there and were so nice to her. Ray was very knowledgeable and also had a sense of humor. I have done multiple ghost tours in various places and this was by far my favorite. I wish it would have lasted longer! read more
