Great tour! Our tour guide, Patrick, was very informative and energetic. Not only did he tell tales of the ghosts along the tour, he also told the history of Savannah. Truly appreciated the small group tour which allowed for proper social distancing and the opportunity to ask many questions. The addition of EMF detectors for each guest to carry was awesome. We captured several photos of orbs while on the tour. I would highly recommend this tour!

Loved it. The guide was really intelligent and knowledgeable. He was able to answer questions and discuss a ton of history. He was also really honest and focused on facts. The EMF readers were a super fun touch. It's a pretty history-heavy tour with ghost stories sprinkled through. Lots of beautiful architecture, too. We had a small group, and walked by a lot of other tours where the people were drunk and the guides had to yell over the rowdy crowds. This is a much better option and well worth the money!

I am updating my review due to the horrendous response from the gentleman below. I decided to give my honest opinion on my experience, in hopes to notify others to be wary. I settled for this below average ghost tour due to Genteel & Bard being sold out. My original review was one star, but I will leave it at one star as I do stick with a sub-par experience. My wife and I enjoy ghosts tours for their interesting history, as well as that eerie feeling you may catch, or the cold shiver that may run down your spine. We have had the pleasure of enjoying 29 tours nation wide, with this one being number 30 and not the case. To start off, I was taken aghast when I dialed the number to reserve our tickets for the ghost tour and it seemed as if we were transferred to in Indian call center. The lady on the phone assured me my credit card information would not be stolen, as they do not record that portion of the call....okay. Additionally as stated on the website, all tickets are non-refundable. I figured what the heck I have zero liability for fraudulent purchases lets do this! When the time came to meet the tour guide, it seemed as if he was a no show at first. There was a gaggle of people gathered around, each asking each other if they were the guide. Eventually after wandering around the square we found Jason our guide. As stated in the original review, Jason was very knowledgeable in the history of Savannah, although he did seem offended each time I asked him a question. I felt as a child being reprimanded for questioning the teacher. To this day I cannot figure out if Jason speaks with an articulation disorder, fluency disorder, or voice disorder but I did have a hard time understanding what he was saying and trying to convey. With this being said my attention did wander......over to the ghost tour next to us with the well spoken gentleman, wondering if I could infiltrate their group with my wife unnoticed. Halfway through the tour I looked at my wife and said "honey I can barley hear or understand what he's saying." That was the moment we decided to leave, in which the heavens opened up with a torrential downpour and we were lucky and glad to be gone. We will be back in Savannah the upcoming weeks to go on better ghost tour because the chapter feels incomplete. Now, to defend myself from these absurd allegations and slander. There are two sides to every story, and I gave my honest opinion on the services I received for $60.00. Jason was an average tour guide. I respect persons with disabilities overcoming them, and making their weaknesses their strengths, however as stated before when you have hearing loss with word recognition issues it creates a perfect storm. Patrick M is either confused, or a blatant liar who can't handle the truth literally. He states Jason has many 5 star reviews, although I only see 2 reviews of the business on here. Everything after that is simply slander. I just cannot see anyone on their anniversary date with their wife, harassing, let alone touching any other female guests. That is sexual assault, in that case I would hope the tour guide would call the police and have the pervert arrested. I have 63 pictures on my profile, 7 of which contain alcohol. That is 11.12% of content containing alcohol. I am an adult, and do enjoy an adult beverage in moderation. There are no candid photos of any people on my profile. Everything is food and drink for the most part. My poor review is not sour grapes it is my opinion on my experience and my side of the story. If I were in the shoes of the "gentleman" of this business, I would have reached out to my customer and offered another tour, not flat out attack and slander them on social media. I'm a man of my word. Please look out for my review of Genteel and Bard as I'm looking forward to a high quality, great content tour!

    Cool and calm evening.

We chose to do the full loop first so we could hear Jared's complete narration before hopping off to explore. It was the perfect decision! He shared fascinating details about Savannah's rich history, along with some lesser-known fun facts that really brought the city to life. The tour sparked our excitement to visit spots we might have overlooked otherwise. The hop-on hop-off format worked brilliantly for us. Buses arrived quickly at each stop--we rarely waited long--and the stops are conveniently located near all the main tourist attractions. It got a bit crowded toward the end of the day (around 5 p.m.), and we occasionally had to wait for the next bus, but overall, it was seamless and stress-free. One small suggestion: I wish the tours ran a little later than 5 p.m. It would be ideal for avoiding parking hassles and enjoying dinner downtown--there are so many delicious restaurants to try! We highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting an easy, informative, and enjoyable way to see Savannah. Thanks to Jared for making it memorable!

At the last minute, we scheduled Sistah Patt's Tour, and honestly this is by far the BEST ONE, and we did several here and in Charleston, while visiting from California. Sistah Patt is incredible and inspirational, fact-telling, and is currently in projects in Savannah, bringing proper recognition and truth-telling. I wish I had done a little research on her, as I did after leaving her tour...oh my, I probably would have asked so many more questions, I had no idea of the advocate she is. Let me leave you with this: Who in Savannah can change a Squares name, from Confederate Vice President (Calhoun), to Taylor Square, to honor Susie King Taylor, born into slavery, who became the 1st Black nurse to serve in the Civil War and later open a school for African Americans in Savannah? YES, Patt Gunn Can, and it happened only 2 years ago! This is the Tour you will want to do. This is the "Remarkable Woman" you will want to share/ask/listen to.

With that being said, upon researching the area, Dan's tour came up as almost unanimously the best thing to do in Savannah. To say we learnt a lot and had a great time would be an understatement, Dan gave us a broad overview of many elements of Savannah's rich and diverse history. We were visiting from Florida, so we knew it would be hot, but as it was a very shaded route with plenty of stops it was not an issue. As Dan advices on the website, pack water, and sunscreen. The walk itself is very dog friendly and at a leisurely pace suited to all levels of fitness. Finding dog friendly activities is always high on our list, and plus the wealth of knowledge and passion Dan has it was a no brainer! Due to the heat, some other guests had to reschedule their time, so we were lucky enough to have a private tour, which probably would be worth an additional star on its own! Dan as a host was witty, engaging and brought Savannah to life. We have already recommended Savannah Dan to multiple people and will continue to moving forward.
