We loved Blue Orb Tours. Lance was enjoyable, funny, and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed that while it was a ghost tour, it didn't feel cheesy or cheap. Lance weaved in history of the city, people, and paranormal. Will definitely recommend to others! read more

Blue Orb Tours - Haunted Theater in Savannah - Tours Near Me - Savannah, Georgia

We experienced Blue Orb Ghost Tours in Savana , GA about 12 years ago and never forgot it! It was the best tour we've ever had and when we were in Savana, we went on 3 other Ghost Tours but Blue Orb was the best by far! I've referred them to many people since then and they've always thanked me for the suggestion! read more

We took an 8p Ghost Tour with Lance and had such a good time! He clearly really loved his job and knew so much about the history of the town! I appreciated how straightforward and calm his storytelling was. My friends had never been on a ghost tour before and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We loved how he didn't exaggerate or sensationalize for effect. He was friendly and funny and truly an expert! We would totally do this tour again! read more

Wow, the 9pm Adults Only Tour was...legit. Lance was excellent, both at storytelling and answering all of my inquisitive questions. Highly recommended. read more

We had a great time on the 8pm tour. As we walked past other groups we kept joking how lucky we were to be on our tour with Adam. Highly recommend. Great stories and really wrapped up a great trip for us. read more

We had Brandon as our guide. Interesting and informative tour. Glad we could get a better appreciation of Savannah through the time spent. Didn't think we would see anything, but then after looking through pictures the next day we saw something interesting in one of the homes. My bf took a couple pictures of the same house. We brightened the exposure of one of the photos and could see a silhouette. read more

Great ghost tour of Savannah! They bring you to a pot of the big haunted locations and show you photos and audio taken at those spots by them personally so they're not just showing you things from a ghost hunting show. They even let you use some of their paranormal investigating equipment. I am a professional paranormal investigator, previously funded by UAB, and I can guarantee this is the best ghost tour of Savannah you will ever take! read more

Did you know Savannah is considered the most haunted city in America? I certainly didn't. My partner and I joined Blue Orb tours for their 10 PM ghost tour through Savannah. "10 PM!?" my partner said shockingly. "We've been in bed by this time most nights!" Yep, this would be a late night. Designed with adults and fans of the paranormal in mind, this adults-only walking tour focuses on the haunted history of Savannah. Some of the tales are gory and truly terrifying. But you'll also get a chance to hear about the general history of Savannah and ask just about any question you want (okay, maybe that was just us! We definitely dominated on the question front during this tour). It makes the perfect COVID activity -- being all outdoors, and a small group. Winter activity? Well, maybe not as much. It suddenly dropped into the 40's that night after a warm and balmy week. Clearly, the ghosts wanted us to suffer. Tickets can be purchased directly from Blue Orb Tours. Cost: $30 for the zombie tour and $25 for the Savannah Shadows Tour. read more

We went on the 18+ tour. Lance is an amazing storyteller. We love history and this tour was perfect for learning about the historical events behind the folklore. The group was fun. It is pet friendly and we brought our dog. A word of warning, the tour moves at a fast pace and many of the sidewalks are uneven surfaces so do not wear heels or you may trip. read more

Had a great time! Adam was relaxed and informative, great information and kept it very interesting. Definitely recommend! read more

My wife and I were in Savannah for our 51st anniversary. Decided to stay up way beyond our bedtime and take an adult ghost tour. Blue Orb was recommended to us by Savannah Dan as the one to go with. So glad we listened to him. To start with, our tour guide, Lance, was awesome. We were a pretty big group but he kept us all together and made sure everyone was included in all of his talks and show & tells. The tour itself was a little tiring as there was a lot to see and hear about. I will not get the particulars but will say if you are looking for something a little out of the box go for a tour with Blue Orb. I highly recommend them. read more

My friend and I did the 10pm ghost tour and very much enjoyed it! Super disturbing stories with a great guide that was both knowledgeable and witty. It ended a bit early, but only because our group wasn't taking pictures as much (I was personally too scared lol). He also offered to stick around and answer questions. Bring water (or booze, if you prefer) and lots of bug spray! read more

I. Am. SHOOKETH! I signed up for this tour on a whim during a short stay in Savannah. I had seen other tour buses going around town and they seemed really corny and somehow I stumbled upon this one either through Yelp or Instagram, I'm not sure which one. People were saying that the tour was really good and it was narrated by somebody who seems well-versed and was realistic, not gimmicky. WELL..... This tour is not for the faint of heart. Our narrator and guide, Adam, was extremely thorough and to the point with the history of each of the locations. There were some funny quips here and there but he really got down to the chilling details so much to the point that I actually hung back from some points of interest. I won't spoil anything but if you're brave, have an open mind, or are maybe just a skeptic who likes a spooky tale...THIS IS YOUR TOUR. TIPS: Wear good walking shoes, stay hydrated ( wine, four loko or h2o will suffice ), if you go in the summer, be prepared for the humidity, and say your prayers. read more

Great paranormal ghost tour about Savannah Georgia. Tour guide was very engaging. Gets you to wondering about ghosts is a different way.

I have lived in Savannah for 7 years and this was the 4th ghost tour I've done, and is by far the best one. Rooted in lived experiences and history, it's not only spooky but pretty legit. Lance was our guide and he was great! I brought out of state family and they had a great time. read more

Okay, first off you are NOT going into any place during the Zombie walking tour, however, with that said our guide provided a really great overview of a few select places that went far beyond the trolley ghost tour we took in a previous year. Unlike the Disneyland ending of that other tour this one was creeping real and went along at a great pace. Yes, we walked around but the time in between stops seemed to pass quickly and somehow we managed to get around a large part of the town. Our guide took us not only into the background and current stories but also the creepy fact that some of these places are empty and being funded to keep them that way. I wish Ghost Adventures would be allowed into some of the places allowed on the tour! (and I am actually glad the tour did not go inside!) read more

10/14-20 10pm zombie tour. We wanted an adults only tour that would be deep into the darkest ghost stories... we got a long walk with stories that are less interesting then everyday news... sorry! Like I said we really wanted to be inspired but this fell 95% short of it. Example: our guid says "the reason I do the review of this house from across the street is in my past tours when I did it close to the house people were reporting groping" And I'm thinking "isn't this why we are doing a ghost tour! For these unexplained sensations! I don't care what other reviews say I live this for almost 2 hours and I'm telling you. Find another tour! read more

Just not good. No good stories. Seemed to be all about the tour guide and his opinions. We didn't even finish the tour it was so bad.

We did the 10pm uncensored tour and it was so much fun!! I was throughly spooked and entertained the whole tour- plus I learned a ton of cool Savannah history!! Brandon our tour guide went above and beyond and we are truly thankful for the experience!! read more

Adam is the most gifted story teller EVER!! He totally made this experience awe inspiring and memorable. The tour is contén and historical accurate. Mixing the presentation with candor descriptions and inserting quick witted humor sporadically. We did the 8PM family tour. This is without a doubt the BEST TOUR EVER!!!! A MUST DO when visiting Savanna! read more

2018 Review 82/100 A fun ghost tour of Savannah. Let's face it. Haunted tours are a dime a dozen in this city. This is the only one I've experienced so I can't speak to the comparison to other tours. But we had a great time. Our tour guide was cool, fun and informative. We don't really get scared or creeped out with these types of things but this was a really cool and different way to learn a little more about the city. Nothing groundbreaking or super stellar but definitely a fun time. I recommend all who visit Savannah do at least one ghost tour, whether it's this or another. read more

We had a wonderful time on the 10pm tour- we got to learn about Savannah's spooky history with a humorous twist (perfect balance for those who may get spooked by walking over dead bodies). Adam was the best--down to earth, funny, and friendly. He incorporated other historical aspects and local accounts into his stories which we loved since this is the only tour we went on this trip. *the yelp coupon is old; buy online. read more

We definitely wanted to do a ghost tour during our time in Savannah. The options are numerous and a bit overwhelming, so I was having trouble deciding on which one to choose. Yelp helped me decide on Blue Orb Tours, and we signed up for the Savannah Shadows Tour. The email confirmation was very detailed, and told us when/where to meet and what to bring/not to bring. Our tour guide, Brandon, was very knowledgeable of the history of Savannah and of the stops we made, and he made sure his voice carried so that everyone in the group could hear him. This was a walking tour that lasted around 90 minutes. I wouldn't say I was ever scared or creeped out, but it was interesting to hear the historical stories and see the architecture of the city. In my opinion, it was not worth the $53 we paid for two people, but I think that price is pretty standard when you're doing a ghost tour in Savannah. We had fun, but I probably would not do another one of these tours. read more

Adam was a wonderful, knowledgable tour guide laced with touches of humor. He also enhanced the tour with a bit of technology by showing photos of apparitions at the various stops using his iPad. A great way to see the scary, Most Haunted city in the U.S. Wear comfy shoes as you'll be walking for about two hours. Additionally, in the summer months you may want to take your bug spray. I appreciated his consideration of the local residents by asking us to keep our volume to a minimum. Great job, Adam! read more

Maybe it was just our tour guide, but this was a really underwhelming experience. While it was cool to walk and learn some facts about the local ghost stories, much of the stops were spent looking at grainy pictures on the tour guide's iPad that felt like a waste of time. We overheard other tours that seemed like they were giving much more information. We left early because we were bored and hot. read more

The adults only ghost tour was fantastic! The 10pm tour is truly excellent and we weee delighted to watch the city fall asleep during our tour. By the end, the streets were empty. The tour was exciting and eerie all at the same time. Lance was our tour guide and he was the best! He did a wonderful job of proving detailed history and explanations of all the sights, along with photos and videos. I would very highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in Savannah history with some "spooky" attached. If you're considering it - GO! :) read more

Super interesting tour & a great way to explore Savannah. Brandon was our guide and did a phenomenal job!

First ghost tour and were happy it was informative instead of cheesy! We did have the electricity go out on a whole block during the tour but found it more exciting visiting the park/cemetery during the day after getting the history from the tour. As we approached the playground, 2 swings out of 4 were swinging. They were swinging very high as if 2 children jumped off as we approached the playground. NO children or even adults were in sight! We were convinced they were ghosts because the swings were swinging so straight without any wind. We video taped the swings until they stopped! Super cool and surprised to see it in broad daylight. Also 2 of 3 of us got big goosebumps on arms and legs at the same time for a couple minutes (Temp was 80 degrees) walking through Forsyth Park. You really take notice of things after this tour!! read more

We went on the 10:00 tour after reading lots of reviews we thought this was the best one. It turned out to be just okay and he ended half hour early which left us feeling a little shorted. read more

We went on a Blue Orb tour on a Saturday night in Savannah. What we got was an enjoyable well-rounded walking tour with a flare for ghost hunting rather than deeply historical. I think my wife was searching for that end while I tend to appreciate the history. Blue Orbs delivers more of the former, but has a little latter historical knowledge. I enjoyed it once, but I don't think we'll try it again. Pros: It's a well paced walking tour with a fun tour guide who was very forthright, entertaining and fun without being super corny. Blue Orb supplies plenty of images via ipad. One one hand, the ipad is kinda hard in any kind of large group, but on the other, what other way is there to convey these images? I generally appreciated it, although you can never look at an image for longer than a few seconds. Still something unique. Tour goods know the area well and can send you to good places after. Cons: It's probably slightly on the more expensive side. The tour was more focused on ghost hunting and looking for items that a deep historical knowledge. I would have liked to hear more about the history, but given Savannah's age, I was surprised not to hear more about some of the more colonial and reconstruction-era events. It was still entertaining. If you want cheese, this ain't it, chief. (I didn't want cheesiness). There was a lot of down time while walking. I guess I get it, but it seemed like the bulk of the tour was while walking and without any information provided. I think this was my primary gripe. Other notes: It's a walking tour, not a bus tour. That's fine, but take note if that's what you want! read more

Found this tour on google when planning our trip and took the tour through the downtown. Our guide Alex was very well informed and personable. His insight from living in Savannah was evident in his knowledge of the city's past. He provided a great history of the city while also providing an engaging experience for all people. If you don't believe in ghosts, you should still do this tour for the expert guidance of the city and high quality storytelling. If you are a fan of the supernatural, you will enjoy Savannah's history and culture as the most active city in the US. read more

We did the "Zombie Ghost Tour" thing, the 21+ one. It wasn't anything special. Kind of boring to be honest. More like a 'walking history tour' on a hot humid night with mildly interesting stories about dead people. Lots of dead people. No ghosts. No zombies. Nothing scary or "fun". Lame thermal camera and other 'fake' ghost detectors stuff. We left early. read more

Adam was the bomb! There was no showy, hokey stuff going on. He told the stories very well but in s way where he wasn't desperate for us to believe them, which made it so much scarier! The pictures and video footage are also super convincing. I had the jeebies all night, even after I got home, but that's what ya pay for right?! Thank you Adam and blue orb for such a chilling and and informative night! read more

Creepy woman in a black dress that occasionally appears on the steps of mansion at a certain time? Check. Possessed child that jumped off the roof of a house and impaled himself on a spike? Yeah. Grave of orphaned boys buried underneath a playground next to a cemetery? Like seriously, WTF. Blue Orb - y'all creeped me the f*** out and made it hard for me to sleep that night. But damn, that was one of the best tours ever. More specifically, my lady and I - along with a few other tourists - took the Uncensored Adults Only Zombie Tour guided by Adam and it definitely served as one of our main highlights during our first ever trip to Savannah. What it included: -Being guided around to six or so haunted locations in the city's Historic District. -Learning about the stories at each location, as well as seeing images and video apparitions by tour go-ers and other evidence found online. -Taking pics of haunted places. What you should know: -This specific tour starts at 10pm and lasts for a couple hours. -There's a lot of walking (according to my Fitbit, we traveled about two miles), so it's nice. -Drinking in public is A-OK, so definitely consider doing so on the tour. (Take the edge off, before possibly seeing something.) -Prices are $30 per person. (Sort of pricey, but worth it, IMO.) -Consider providing a tip. -We were told to meet at Chippewa Square the 10pm, but I think they change up start locations. I don't want to do a breakdown of each single stop, since that would totally take away from the tour, so check it out for yourself! read more

If you are looking for the best ghost tour in Savannah, stop researching and book the Blue Orb Zombie Tour. You will not be disappointed. Our tour guide was Adam. You could tell he really enjoys his job. He was fun to listen to, an excellent storyteller, with no corny theatrics whatsoever. We made 5 stops over the course of 2 hours and each one was just as riveting as the last. We actually stopped by a couple of the places again during the day so we could get a better look. For those wondering, this is a walking tour of roughly a mile or so. You do not go inside the properties, but you are allowed to take as many photos as you like. Each stop was accompanied by backup evidence on the iPad that Adam shared with the group. There are no zombies that chase you around or creepies with chainsaws - this is not a Halloween haunted house. This is authentic, real-life ghost stories in real-life places that will definitely gives you the willies. I highly recommend this ghost tour. Well worth the price and the time spent. read more

I am giving this tour 1 star for a couple of reasons. The host was good but Blue Orb did not secure any permits to enter any of the haunted places. This whole tour we had to wait in front of the haunted building while the tour guide gave us the story. The only pictures we could take were while standing on public property which was off of the haunted private property. My second gripe with this was that some of the information based on the real life historic figures was not accurate. When we got to the Sorrel house Blue Orb told their version. When we took the Sorrel tour from the actual Sorrel house it conflicted with what Blue Orb stated. The order of when people died and the reasons were not the same. The third thing that was a bit disappointing was that when we ended our group was not walked back to our starting location. Sure it was only three blocks away but we are from out of town so you can easily get lost in 3 blocks. The fourth reason why I am upset is that it rained earlier in the day with lightening and we tried to cancel. We were told no, there is no cancellations even though their page says if weather is bad (lightening) you could cancel. I suggest if you are ever in this situation that you do a chargeback with your credit card company. This is very dishonest and deceiving. I will be filing complaints with the tourism bureau in Savannah, as well with the FTC for deceptive ad practices. read more
