Well - We should have read the reviews better. Planned a trip to Savannah about 6 weeks before we went. We scheduled the 9 pm tour for five of us through the web service. We received an email confirmation and it did not show a date / time so we called. James stated that the web service should not be scheduling 9 pm tours since they don't do them anymore. So - he gave us an option to reschedule and we did for 8 pm that same night. So... we ate and then walked briefly over to a small bar that he stated to meet him at and had a drink waiting. 815 comes along and no James! 5 of us standing out there. We called the number and the voice mail box was full. Both my wife and sister called several times. Finally at 830 James calls. He states that he had a larger group and decided to take them instead ("A" for honesty I guess). He was asked why he just did not call us and tell us that so we could find another tour and.... he had no response. So... I would find another more reliable service or be prepared to be disappointed (my lesson - use the reviews!)

The tour guide carries this scary, old timey lamp. Handy for lighting your cigarette!

The Haunted Pub Crawl was a campy, cute, touristy excuse to go from pub to pub and drink beer. I like beer. In this regard, it was a great success. I actually found some of the stories interesting, like learning that Pour Larry's was once a slave pen. Also, it was pretty cool getting to go to some of the deserted upper stories of some of the buildings. Neat! Walking around Savannah with your tour group while finishing the beer from the last pub is fun in itself. The tour was a satisfying diversion for an evening in the historic district. Sure, most of the stories were not very scary, and some of them were not very convincing, but I have some news for folks who expect a truly terrifying tour: Ghosts are not real. Beer is real. So, relax and enjoy!

Keep your eyes peeled for ghost children.....

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience on the Ghosts and Folklore tour. A very nice paced tour around the historic district, complete with a pub stop early on to grab your to-go beverage. Every few hundred feet or so, we would stop to learn about another tragic Savannah incident! Our guide, Nicole, was engaging and was willing to answer any questions we had... we did not feel she was in a rush at all! We were with another couple so our total group size was four. I saw some tours walking around with upward of 30 people.... I loved the small group size and interactivity with Nicole. At the end of the tour, Nicole even offered us to a few suggestions to bars she frequents with friends. Tour was scheduled to be 90 minutes but it was closer to 1:45! Thanks for the ghoulish tour, Nicole!!!

History was worth it. Moon River brewery was very interesting. A must-do. The price is right. Our tour guide was Julie and she was fun!

A Must Do! This Remarkable Tour is told by Savannah's 2025 "Remarkable Woman of the Year" Patt Gunn…read more(Sistah Patt), CEO of the Underground Tours of Savannah! At the last minute, we scheduled Sistah Patt's Tour, and honestly this is by far the BEST ONE, and we did several here and in Charleston, while visiting from California. Sistah Patt is incredible and inspirational, fact-telling, and is currently in projects in Savannah, bringing proper recognition and truth-telling. I wish I had done a little research on her, as I did after leaving her tour...oh my, I probably would have asked so many more questions, I had no idea of the advocate she is. Let me leave you with this: Who in Savannah can change a Squares name, from Confederate Vice President (Calhoun), to Taylor Square, to honor Susie King Taylor, born into slavery, who became the 1st Black nurse to serve in the Civil War and later open a school for African Americans in Savannah? YES, Patt Gunn Can, and it happened only 2 years ago! This is the Tour you will want to do. This is the "Remarkable Woman" you will want to share/ask/listen to.

You cannot begin to understand the history of Savannah, Georgia, the South or our country without this foundational understanding. This experience will stick with me for years to come.

What a blast! Danny Moron and Danni Moron, the Moron Twins were a great duo to entertain the group…read more It's nonstop laughter from start to finish as the duo cracked jokes that interlaced with each other in a smooth delivery. They incorporated material from guests on the bus and peppered laughs throughout the tour. It was irreverent, a little raunchy in just the right way to make you blush. One of the highlights include Danny existing the bus and taking the show to the street with innocent bystanders becoming part of the show, all while narrated inside by Danni. We covered several blocks with Danny running through the streets and squares while we laughed in the air conditioned trolly. A great show, must do when visiting Savannah... and you'll learn a little history too... but much, but just enough.

Our guides, Danny and Dannii, were bursting with high energy and delivered non-stop humor throughout the entire experience. They skillfully wove in fascinating historical facts about Savannah while keeping us laughing the whole way around the city. A quick heads-up: the humor does get a little risqué at times, so it's definitely not for the faint of heart! The highlight (or should I say lowlight for my husband's dignity) was when he received an unforgettable "lap dance"--or more accurately, a face dance. I've never seen his face turn quite that shade of red or heard him laugh so hard. It was priceless. If you're looking for a fun, lighthearted break from the everyday routine with a good dose of levity, we highly recommend this tour. It's a hilarious way to see and learn about Savannah!

With that being said, upon researching the area, Dan's tour came up as almost unanimously the best thing to do in Savannah. To say we learnt a lot and had a great time would be an understatement, Dan gave us a broad overview of many elements of Savannah's rich and diverse history. We were visiting from Florida, so we knew it would be hot, but as it was a very shaded route with plenty of stops it was not an issue. As Dan advices on the website, pack water, and sunscreen. The walk itself is very dog friendly and at a leisurely pace suited to all levels of fitness. Finding dog friendly activities is always high on our list, and plus the wealth of knowledge and passion Dan has it was a no brainer! Due to the heat, some other guests had to reschedule their time, so we were lucky enough to have a private tour, which probably would be worth an additional star on its own! Dan as a host was witty, engaging and brought Savannah to life. We have already recommended Savannah Dan to multiple people and will continue to moving forward.
