Great True Crime pub crawl walking tour. Sarah was a great story teller and tour guide. All our stops were great. A cool way to see Savannah at night.

We did the True Crime tour with Sara. She was wonderful! The stories were very entertaining and the drinks she recommended were all delicious! We will definitely recommend this to our friends and take another tour when we return.

I came to Savannah right before I moved here just to get the lay of the land. While I was here I did the "True Crime & Wine Cocktail Tour" We met up at the Tandem Coffee and Spirits. I figured we would just stand outside and start the tour.....little did I know it started there! We went inside and the tour guide introduced us AND we got our first cocktail at the restaurant AND the first story. The best part is the drink was names after our first story. After that I was HOOKED!!!! I am a huge True Crime junkie and I was afraid this tour was going to be cheese and boring but I was wrong! The tour guide was so much fun! She even showed us some behind the scene including some ghost that still hang around. I highly recommend this tour even if you are just visiting but even if you live here!!!

Loved our tour with Nina! She kept it spooky but not so spooky that our kid was freaked out. Well worth the money

However, I've never taken a trolley tour until this past September when we visited for a few days. We had several hours to kill on a Thursday and my history loving husband suggested we take a trolley tour and I thought why not? It would be a great way to see and learn more about the oldest city in Georgia! We chose the hop on-hop off tour, which is 90 minutes long. The tour begins each day at 9:00am and the last tour leaves at either 4:30pm or 5:00pm depending on the season. This tour goes through 14 stops and a trolley comes by every 15 minutes or so. We hopped off pretty early on to explore one of the squares by foot and ended up walking around, getting coffee, and shopping for over an hour. We hopped back on and stayed for several more stops, but had to hop off once we got closer to our hotel. We appreciate that you have the freedom to "customize" your tour experience. The tour was very informative and enjoyable! We loved the addition of historical characters who hopped on at different stops. The actors did a phenomenal job. Highly recommend!

We did the 75 minute historic tour of Old Savannah. Check in was a breeze and all employees we encountered were lovely. Our tour guide/driver, Irish, is a Savannah native and shared some of her personal anecdotes and gave us an in depth history of the squares and history. I learned a lot more about Savannah during this tour and would highly recommend!

At the last minute, we scheduled Sistah Patt's Tour, and honestly this is by far the BEST ONE, and we did several here and in Charleston, while visiting from California. Sistah Patt is incredible and inspirational, fact-telling, and is currently in projects in Savannah, bringing proper recognition and truth-telling. I wish I had done a little research on her, as I did after leaving her tour...oh my, I probably would have asked so many more questions, I had no idea of the advocate she is. Let me leave you with this: Who in Savannah can change a Squares name, from Confederate Vice President (Calhoun), to Taylor Square, to honor Susie King Taylor, born into slavery, who became the 1st Black nurse to serve in the Civil War and later open a school for African Americans in Savannah? YES, Patt Gunn Can, and it happened only 2 years ago! This is the Tour you will want to do. This is the "Remarkable Woman" you will want to share/ask/listen to.

Our Charleston based tour planner and staff at our Beaufort B and B raved about Janet's tour and how she brings the city of Beaufort and its magnificent homes and history to life. Unfortunately her delegate who gave us our tour on June 5 was UNACCEPTABLE. I believer we would have enjoyed our two hours more just walking around on our own. We learned more of Beaufort's history, houses and residents on our Dolphins Adventures Tour than we did with this replacement guide. There were only 4 of us on the tour and the guide spent the entire time talking with two phd child psychology students, a couple, trying to impress them with his knowledge of their field of study. He spent more time on this than talking about Beaufort. We traditionally love walking tours as it allows for engagement with the guide etc. We were ignored like we were not even on the tour zero engagement the exact opposite of every other one of our tours on our two week trip. . A church was unlocked for us to walk in. Unfortunately a number of others sauntered in the open door and we had to wait a good 15 minutes while the others moseyed around the interior used the bathroom (queued) etc. as our guide had to wait until they left. Because he had to lock up.

Parking was easy to find in the waterfront marina departure point. Raul led the tour, and did a decent job in covering the history of Beaufort and going over both history and architecture of homes in the area, as well as pointing out where some movies were filmed locally. I liked that the tour ventured out of the historic part of town to go to the Beaufort National Cemetery, as it's one of those places people visiting would otherwise likely skip out on. Overall, I'd rate the tour 4 stars, as I didn't like it as much as other Atlantic coastal town tours I've done in the past (Southport, for example), and this tour was a bit more expensive in comparison (but still worth it). I also thought it was a bit much to be told to leave a review by the guide, and also receive messages via both email and text message to review as well.

With that being said, upon researching the area, Dan's tour came up as almost unanimously the best thing to do in Savannah. To say we learnt a lot and had a great time would be an understatement, Dan gave us a broad overview of many elements of Savannah's rich and diverse history. We were visiting from Florida, so we knew it would be hot, but as it was a very shaded route with plenty of stops it was not an issue. As Dan advices on the website, pack water, and sunscreen. The walk itself is very dog friendly and at a leisurely pace suited to all levels of fitness. Finding dog friendly activities is always high on our list, and plus the wealth of knowledge and passion Dan has it was a no brainer! Due to the heat, some other guests had to reschedule their time, so we were lucky enough to have a private tour, which probably would be worth an additional star on its own! Dan as a host was witty, engaging and brought Savannah to life. We have already recommended Savannah Dan to multiple people and will continue to moving forward.

The tour was filled with fun facts and just the right amount of humor. I was even told they're doing a special female-focused tour for Women's Day soon and have other plans for limited runs and more unique tours in the future! I can't wait to see what other tours are coming soon. *Note: I have medical conditions that often lead to fatigue and can sometimes making walking tours like this difficult, and one person in our group has limited mobility (trouble with stairs mostly). We discussed these things before starting the tour, and they were able to help modify it for easier walking routes and included a few short breaks without leaving anything out! that said, this tour is an excellent option for young kids and families!
