Cave is truly a hidden gem and one of a kind restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The setting is a very unique where tables are placed in between wine barrels for a private and intimate feel inside a modern tunnel cave with minimalistic decor one would think you're in a Nordic country instead of California.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had an a reservation for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the host properly checked us in and we got seated after a very short wait. Since it's a Sunday they have a brunch menu in addition to their regular menu. For starter we had the birria empanada which is nicely fried and comes with consommé (4/5). The pork belly hash is decent but a bit underwhelming and somewhat lacking in flavor (3/5). The duck leg confit is quite nicely done. It's savory and tender with the slightly sweet red wine cherry sauce as a perfect companion along with the tasty mashed potato (5/5). Overall I would rate 4/5 for the food but the unique dining experience inside the wine cave.

I've been here a few times now. It really became a favorite of mine when coming to Temecula. I like how the barrels are used as dividers so you feel like you have your own private dining area. I love that! The food is good! We ordered Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and that was made with white wine. That was sooooo good! He ordered the filet medallion and lucky me... They had squid ink pasta that day and I love squid ink pasta so I had that. The filet was tender and came with mashed potatoes and garlic string beans. My squid ink pasta was delicious. It was very flavorful and had shrimp and tomatoes in it. We also had a tasting of 5 wines. For dessert... Lucky me again... My favorite is creme brulee and that was wayyyy delicious! I definitely try to make reservations here when we go to Temecula for a day!

Our experience was superb. You have to come and see for yourselves.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Well I think I'll begin with the spectacular views.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We arrived just before sunset and were seated at an outside table with other friendly guests.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our host introduced us to one of their wines. She was gracious and her knowledge of wines was intriguing. Served with it was a charcuterie filled with meats, fruits and cheeses. Our date night was complete.

This restaurant was recommended when I booked my hotel at the Vine. Since it was walking distance to our hotel and I never been to Oak Mountain Winery, I decided to make reservations for a wine tour and lunch at their restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tour and wanted a small bite to eat to soak up the wine we had. We made reservations to sit inside and I'm so glad we did. Granted the views outside are beautiful, but inside felt more cozy and romantic. I learned through James (wine tour guide) that they placed the tables 6ft apart with wine barrels during covid. They kept the same format and I absolutely loved being tucked between the barrels as it gave us privacy. Mike, the restaurant manager, was our server. He did get tied up with other duties so Elijah stepped in and took care of us. We ordered the sliders which was very tasty. My boyfriend asked for a sweet wine and Mike recommended the Muscat Canelli which he loved. We finished with the churro cheesecake for dessert and that was sooooooo good! I did make a comment to Elijah that Mike forgot about us but he said Mike sent him to check on us. In the end, Mike and Elijah took care of us and they were both friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a wonderful lunch, great service, and we will definitely be back.

This was definitely a 5/5! To start, the ambiance is awesome. The cave gives a unique romantic experience. We came to eat and hand a wine tasting. They have a separate wine tasting room but they allowed us to do the tasting during dinner. The food was delicious and the wine was great as well. I would definitely recommend checking this restaurant and winery out!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It was an okay dining experience but with a very good and relaxed ambience (we thought the "one man band" in the outside seating area was a huge "plus."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] From our visit/perspective, the bottom line: The Cave is a "3 star" food and service experience, but at "4+ star" prices. Details: * Being Valentine's Day, this (like most places) restaurant was very busy, making the wait time to be seated a bit more understandable * The food menu options are few, but with enough options to suit most everybody * The cocktail menu only had 4 drinks (we thought this oddly limited, but did not ask if other options were available "off menu" * With no beer selections on the menu, but knowing Oak Mountain Winery also has an onsite distillery, I asked and was told that the Oak Mountain beer options did not sell well in the restaurant, so they only offer nationally branded options (Modelo, Stella, Voodoo Ranger) - I thought them not offering their very own brews was odd * The service was okay, nothing bad, but nothing too special (at higher-end prices, one could expect a high level of attention) * Table service options - most places (even those like Red Lobster) offer bread/butter as a starter - not here * Appetizer - we got the "whipped feta" option which was okay, but we noted not too much attention was given to this tray * Main meal - my Poblano Linguine with tri-tip was good, plentiful, and tasty; the other, the Chilean Sea Bass - it was okay but we have had better at lower-end restaurants (we thought it odd that the Chilean Sea Bass meal cost more than the lobster) * Desserts - there were four desert options, but noticing the cheesecake listed on the "Valentine's 4-course meal menu", we asked about that, but told that option is only available when purchasing the full course selection; we chose to skip dessert [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is obvious by the number of guests that this is a quite popular place. It does have some great outside seating areas and the view "from above" is quite impressive[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Although it was an okay experience, we do not think it likely that we will return (refer to the "bottom line")

What an amazing brunch! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cave was lit up for the holidays and the cozy tables were beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with some bubbly and orange juice. My daughters ordered the salmon, and they were not disappointed. Light, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The lobster was also amazing, cooked perfectly and served with lemon, butter and salad. The corn rice must have been an afterthought, not so tasty. And since it was my daughter's birthday they brought out a small cake that was a perfect end to our meal. They made it a very special day for us.

One of our favorite places to enjoy dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is incredible. You are seated in a cave. Each table is its own private seating area between wine barrels.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Wine club members receive a discount on dinner. You can enjoy a wine testing before and after your meal. Mike always does an incredible job of customer service.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We reserved an outside space for a 50th birthday celebration and everything from communication, accommodations, presentation, and food was top notch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have to say the communication was the best. We had the best time. Thank you for making our birthday special.

Joined for a last minute lunch and were seated in the cave with no wait. The Cave Melt was excellent! Matt was very friendly despite a very busy lunch rush. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The fact that the tables are separated by barrel stacks makes the dining experience seem much more private, even when the restaurant was busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I went here for my anniversary and it looks so pretty inside. It's nice that the tables are separated by wine barrels so you get a sense of privacy. Our server was okay she wasn't the most personable. The food was pretty good. My dish was too salty and my boyfriend's food was a little bland. I wanna go back to give it another chance because I do like the vibe of the restaurant.

This restaurant is built inside a cave. The tables are set in between wine barrels and the lighting is dim and romantic, I liked that. The view from the outside of this restaurant is so pretty, it's high up in the hills and has a great view but it's not visible while dining. Our server was nice and attentive, I can't recall his name. He made sure we had water and go the items we asked for right away. We ordered the whipped feta appetizer and it was okay, it was very sour and a little overwhelming. I liked it with the celery, but not with the pita. I ordered the salmon and it was cooked perfectly, it came with a risotto that was just okay, it was like it was made with mayonnaise and not with cheese so I didn't really care for that much. The sauce on the plate tasted like sriracha and mayo mixed together, nothing fancy. The roasted veggies were pretty good though. The steak was okay, kind of fatty and has some big tendon pieces which we didn't like. The desserts were really good, the bread pudding was like a French toast cinnamon roll with vanilla ice cream on top. It was delicious, the black decaf I ordered with it was strange tasting though so I didn't really care for the coffee. The cave trio was delicious! We loved all three flavors. Overall this place was just okay for me, we wanted to try it to experience more of the wineries around us.

What a great place. The Valet parking attendant was courteous and professional to start. We had reservations and what a nice place. Tana "Like Banana" was our server extraordinare and was professional, attentive and kind. We started with bread butter and drinks. We opted for Margaritas versus wine. I know but those winery has cocktails, beer and wine. The ambiance is spectacular with each table surrounded by beautiful oak crafted wine barrels. We had lunch with my wife having a grilled chicken salad and I had the short rib. Excellent food, service and people. Highly recommended

Upon entry, you'll notice the high pitched A framed ceiling which reminded me of some chalets I visited in Europe. The mostly wood and tapestry decor some might consider classic seemed dated but well maintained. The restaurant was half full, because most people were in the tasting room, at the other end of the resort, where the 2026 FIFA was on the monitor. The restaurant had a large outdoor patio with cool misters but it was too hot to dine outdoors. Inside the restaurant was large and many booth seating which we preferred. The walls of shelves showcased many awards and bottles of the wines produced by South Coast Vineyard. From the menu we ordered the prime rib along with Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Syrah both rated 90 points from wine reviews. After tasting the wines, there was no doubt the wines were very good. The prime ribs were served with mashed potatoes and asparagus tasted surprisingly very flavorful and delicious. Usually a pescatarian dish, but I was really excited to taste their red wines which paired well with the hearty prime rib, and the pairing was palate perfect. Service from the staff, especially the server and the head chef was great. The head chef used work for Lisa Vanderpump and resided in Beverly Hills, so we had that connection and we chatted. I can't say whether this applies to every Friday night performance, but it absolutely applied to this particular show. If you want anything close to a decent view of the stage, it is imperative that you purchase assigned table seating! For this concert, reserved table seating was only $10 more per person than General Admission (GA) seating, and in hindsight, it would have been well worth the extra cost. The General Admission section was positioned so far off to the left side and elevated that the stage view was extremely limited. Depending on where you were seated, portions of the artist and band could be obstructed entirely. The audio quality in the GA area was also disappointing, with vocals often difficult to hear clearly. We understand these events are designed to encourage dancing and a lively atmosphere, but there was a large amount of unused dance-floor space where additional premium seating could have been placed to provide better sight lines and improved sound quality. Another major issue was the seating layout in the GA section. The spacing between rows was tighter than airline coach seating. In our row, some guests literally had to stand up and fully exit the row just to allow others to enter or leave their seats. To make matters worse, the chairs were zip-tied together, leaving virtually no personal space. Thankfully, we were seated next to friends, because if we had been next to strangers, it would have been uncomfortable for everyone involved. In my opinion, the GA seating experience simply was not worth the ticket price given the poor visibility, cramped seating, and weak sound quality in that area. The bright spot of the evening was the performance itself. L Young and the Trouble Man band were outstanding and absolutely delivered a fantastic show! I would gladly see them perform again. However, unless I could secure reserved table seating, I personally would not return to this venue for another concert from the GA section. What stood out most was that this wasn't just our opinion -- many guests seated around us also voiced the exact same frustrations throughout the evening.

There was a lovely cover artist singing and playing music while we were there. Only a few tables were filled. For drinks, my friends chose the Bloody Mary bar. They enjoyed their drinks, as the bar had a nice selection. I chose the bottomless mimosas, as it was worth it if I even had two. Over this week I had the chicken pesto sandwich, chicken noodle soup, Pechanga burger, and the Pechanga breakfast. I really enjoyed everything but the chicken pesto sandwich. The sandwich lacked flavor even with the creamy best. It ahead a washed out watery flavor and the waitress was kind enough to remove it from the bill without me even requesting it. The chicken noodle soup truly tastes homemade with real slow cooked chicken in a rich and bold broth. It's packed with soft flavored veggies. I only wish it had a bit more egg noodles. The Pechanga burger was cooked to a perfect medium as requested. It comes with lettuce, cheese, tomato, onion, and a fried egg (cooked a perfect over medium). Sadly it doesn't include pickles and they charge you $1 when you request them. Also, just a suggestion, I think their fries are best extra crispy.
