I go to this location regularly, and unfortunately every time I visit there seems to be an issue. I always order extra steak, but it is often cold or there is barely any available. Yesterday was especially disappointing. They only had a very small scoop of steak left and told me that if I waited for a fresh batch, they would give me the portion I paid extra for once it was ready. I agreed, even though I was already frustrated because this happens often. They rang up both my bowl and my boyfriend's order, then packed mine in a to-go container even though I said I was dining in. I sat and waited about 15 minutes for the steak, and my boyfriend eventually had to get up and ask for it. When they finally gave it to me, it still was not the extra portion I had paid for. While waiting, I also overheard the manager offering free food to a customer in line if she left a 5-star review, which felt unprofessional and misleading. To make things worse, when I started eating, the steak I had waited and paid extra for was burnt, dry, and like jerky. This was extremely disappointing. I love CAVA, which is why this is frustrating. I actively avoid this location because of repeated bad experiences, but it is the closest one to me. I've never had these issues at the Huebner location. This was my first time trying this location and I can say it was definitely a success! The restaurant was very clean and stocked up on all of the food choices. The flavor of everything was amazing and the staff were very helpful and friendly with explaining the new food items that just joined the menu. My only complaint is compared to the other Cava locations the Togo bowls look smaller. read more

I LOVE CAVA!! I am from Portland Oregon where we do not have a cava (yes I've cried about it and reached out to corporate). This is the perfect fast casual meal. The honey harissa chicken is perfectly spicy and flavorful. I love the saffron rice with spinach and arugula. I added tomatoes with cucumber, more tomatoes, corn, and more cucumber. The cucumber was almost out and the server spooned the last of the cucumber in but didn't drain any juice. I would definitely caution against that but I don't get any sauce so I guess it worked out pretty well. I really wish I could have this twice a week. Watching the staff put together orders, made me think of the Chipotle assembly line. Husband had a custom lamb pita, me the stock avocado bowl that contained the honey chicken. Both were pretty good. The pita can get a bit messy, though as the dressings make the pita a little soggy and then starts to fall apart. Glad I went with a bowl. It looks like they kept Zoe's furniture. They serve those potent sugar-laden Maine sodas. They also have a few teas, most notably the unsweet black tea. They do a pretty good to-go business. The eat-in business is good, too. I am never disappointed with the food. It is always fresh, delicious, cooked well and no matter what kind of combination, it's very tasty. However the create a bowl has to have a warning that it's going to cost a lot more than one of their chefs bowls. The chefs bowls are about 11 bucks and if you create your own it's about 16. The drinks are very delicious and innovative and I suggest you try a cup. I tried the chocolate cake dessert one time and it was dry and I haven't tried it since. It used to be a "must have" when I used to go to Zoe's to get their Yaya cake but since the change to CAVA, it's not the same. read more

I loved every other CAVA, but the people who work here didn't know what the hell they were doing. The delicious Crispy Falafel I have gotten at every other Cava was a wet, soggy mess. Falafel wasn't fully cooked. The server dumped the sauces (which in every other Cava are served on the side) on top of my pita without asking. The server didn't understand the recipe or the ingredient. Everything was cold, including the Pita. If you are the franchise owner, you need to manage this place or close it. After looking forward to eating here all day, I will never be back. Short the stock. You cannot mix actual food preparation with fast food workers unless someone shows them how. I usually get the braised lamb, it's pretty good and worth the upgrade cost. Today Carlo didn't bother to drain it and gave me half a portion. It's easy to notice this on account of them using a small cup to measure the lamb, which was filled a bit less than halfway. I protested. "Can you give me a full portion of meat please"?
