Sumac Sour Cream + Onion Pita Chips

I have been eating at cava for years now. I decided to dine I at this location. The portions were very small from what I'm used to from cava. The meat was literally measured with a little condiment cup before being placed in my bowl. I added an order of pita chips, and when I bit into them, they were cold and hard. I brought this to the attention of the manager, and he literally told me it's because they have been sitting out because no one has purchased them. When I asked for fresh ones he stated "I will make you fresh ones this time, but I can't guarantee fresh ones next time." I'm shocked. I will never come to this location again

Rock star service by the ladies this morning! First customers today - Walking into an uber clean restaurant with the sizzle happening in the background, how can it possibly be better? Walked thru step by step and didn't feel at all rushed to make a selection, from toppings to dips. I have a small stomach y'all and the kids pita meal was an ideal choice for my lunch today. Soft pita bread with a nice red pepper hummus spread and, oh my goodness, great portion of protein! The basmati rice was my favorite today, so much great aromatics & flavor. Skhug is plenty spicy but boy if you need to kick it up a notch, pour it onto that spicy chicken and you are golden. Love the beverage options and felt like a little kid trying every tea available! Open concept kitchen with bright and airy dining, wonderful spot for a yummy casual lunch! Catering is available for a working lunch meeting or the busy evening schedules! Be sure to download their app and get rewarded

By far, the worst Cava I've been to. 1. The floor was sticky like it hasn't been cleaned for days. 2. Garbage was so so full that I could only leave mine on the side. 3. The water was carbonated water. 4. I asked for roasted veggies and lamb meatballs not knowing they were extra. They should've probably said something. 5. All the tables weren't wiped down. I had to wipe it down myself. ( other customers were doing the same. NEVER AGAIN.

So happy that I finally tried this place! It is absolutely delish! The line moved very slow and I was getting hangry. Like really hangry. It did however, give me lots of time to question myself about which item I wanted. I kept going back and forth and ending up getting the spicy chicken and avocado pita. It was freaking amazing. I loaded it up with all of the extra vegetables and it honestly was the perfect meal. So so so flavorful! I also ordered the pita chips with the crazy feta dip. DO NOT miss out on those chips! Or that dip! OMG!!! Even if you usually just have water like I do, order the fountain drink and taste all of the juice mixes! They're all so good and not too sweet. My favorite was mixing the pineapple, apple, mint one with the cucumber, mint drink. Incredibly delicious. Customer service was excellent and portions were insanely huge. I will definitely be making this my go to place from here on out!!

Visited Cava last night and OMG never disappoints. Kelvin helped me and was phenomenal in customer service. I get a bowl every time with saffron rice, chicken and copious corn. Mmmm. I think I'll have to make another visit this week. Soooooo delish!!! So much flavor.

I am so happy they open a cava near me. I seriously go to this location ALL the time. I experience nothing but great customer service each time. I did have one time the guy messed up my order but guess what mistakes happen it's ok. Other than that it's my favorite place. The veggies are always fresh and the meats all seasoned great. They're fast I hardly make line. Always stocked up and clean inside. Can't wait to come back again and make my own bowl.

My order is a Greek Salad Bowl, extra hummus and cucumbers, add basmati rice, and no cheese or olives. Perfection. I appreciated that they have standard bowls but are will to adapt them to your needs and wants. As with anything healthy, it's not the cheapest. But it's filling, healthy for your body, and delicious. It's quiet, clean and the staff is friendly. I have personal issue with being asked by the computer to tip someone working in fast food, but I don't hold it against me the workers or the individual restaurant. I will always come back.

My first time here. The food is great, the price point was good, and the service was excellent. This place is a great option when you feel like eating clean and fast!

We had five people in our party and we received 15 dishes, including desert. The fire roasted corn and tirshi completely stole the show for me--both were rich, vibrant, and unforgettable. The piping hot pita bread deserves its own spotlight--so, so tasty, soft, and perfect for scooping up every last bite. And the wagyu? Cooked to absolute perfection--tender, flavorful, and worth every bite. A special shoutout to the staff, who helped me celebrate my birthday in such a thoughtful way without ever making it feel over-the-top or cheesy. It really made the night feel personal and memorable. We ended with the Malabi, which was refreshingly cold, perfectly tart, and beautifully rose-flavored--an ideal finish to an already amazing meal. This was one of those dinners where you're already planning your return before you even leave. Truly a 5-star experience from start to finish.

We left quite stuffed and extremely satisfied. It was a nice day so we ate outside but the interior was very pleasant and was filled with diners even at 2 pm. Upon entry, my guest and I were greeted promptly and invited to sit anywhere we liked. My guest and I immediately noticed the traditional Turkish aromatics that filled the establishment. The waitress who tended to our table was engaging and explained the menu in depth as well as vouched for the food's authenticity. As my guest and I wanted to try multiple menu items, we elected to order the dishes that offered an array of food. Appetizer: Cold Platter This dish included hummus, babaganoush, dolma, ezme, and piyaz. The plater was properly "stacked" with the flavors of the app. going from "punchy" to mild. The piyaz was a perfectly balanced white bean salad packed with Mediterranean flavors. This combination of white beans, tomatoes, onions, and parsley was simple and yet deliciously satisfying! The dolma on this dish was a perfect combination of filling vegetables, grape seeds, Rumex, hornbeam, and quince leaves, with a kick of lemon. The babaganoush was light and refreshing. The simple combination of roasted eggplant, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt is something that is not to be missed if you are looking for a vitamin packed dip. The Ezme "mashed" was made mainly with tomatoes, cucumber, and olive oil and packed a little punch, which most likely was accredited to the peppers. Main: Hot Mixed Platter This dish included meatballs, chicken, beef, and lamb (doner) atop veggies and rice. All the meats on the plate were seasoned to perfection and tender. My guest and I ate the meats so quickly that I am not able to appropriately describe the flavors other than with the a word, "delectable". Dessert: Dessert Platter This platter had a sampling of Tiramisu, čupavci, KÜnefe, and Baklava. Although the čupavci and KÜnefe looked great, I couldn't eat them as they both are made with coconuts (to which I am allergic). I actually took a bite of the KÜnefe before I realized that it had coconut shavings in it. With this dessert, the cheese is arranged between two layers of Kadayıf (shredded phyllo), cooked until golden, and soaked in a sweet syrup. The čupavci (sponge cake) was soaked in chocolate sauce, then dipped in unsweetened, shredded coconut. Fun fact: Čupavci means "furry" because of the fuzzy surface the coconut provides, which I learned when I visited Turkey many years ago. Java Folks who read my reviews know that I am a java junkie. So, of course, I requested the Turkish coffee. Turkish coffee is prepared with more water than its Italian counterparts and is meant to be sipped rather than drunk quickly like a shot. There is also a tradition of reading the grinds at the bottom of the cup to tell fortunes, known as tasseography. Turkish coffee cups are small, similar to the size of an espresso cup, but with a rich history of their own. This coffee is prepared traditionally and provided a much needed pick me up. This family restaurant has authentic quality food and the highest level of service. If in the area, this locally owned spot is worth a try. Total for the meal before tip $89.00 #supportlocal

I hadn't eaten all day, so I was absolutely ready for calories and nutrients. I ended up getting a falafel plate that let me mix and match a few things -- falafel, babaganoush, tzatziki, grape leaves, and an eggplant salad that sounded interesting. I didn't realize the eggplant salad would be served very cold -- like straight-from-the-fridge cold -- which just wasn't my thing. The falafel itself was okay, but not great. It was kind of chewy and brown all the way through instead of that nice warm, soft, and green-on-the-inside falafel you get at really good spots. The dolmas were fine, the tzatziki was a little too creamy for me, but the babaganoush was definitely the standout -- rich, flavorful, maybe a bit heavy on the oil, but I didn't mind it. When the server checked in and asked if something was wrong with the salad, as I had not made a dent in it, I mentioned it was really cold, and he said, "That's how it's supposed to be." Fair enough -- just not my preference. Overall, it was a decent lunch for around $20 including tip. The location is pretty unassuming, and it did the job for a quick midday bite, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come back.

The ambiance was great, everything from the decorative rugs, Arab writing on the wall, tagine pottery and brass crafts were perfectly displayed. The tabbouleh salad was very tasty, it had the right amount of ingredients making it pretty as well as colorful placed in the neat brass metal bowl. Now with the things that require immediate remedial attention: 1. The burger was overrated, overcooked and dry. 2. The chick pea salad lacked chick peas, dressing, onions and feta cheese. 3. The lamb Kofta plate was prepared right however, it was not enough meat for the price and the cream sauce tasted like straight butter with a hint of garlic. The pita bread was lukewarm and looked like it had been unwrapped, quartered and thrown in a microwave for 30 seconds prior to serving it. 4. Drinks Ordered: The Cafe' Arabia was very tasty BUT, I didn't get it until we were almost done with our meal. We ordered drinks when we were first seated so that was a big red flag. My wife also ordered the Moroccan mint teapot and she didn't get it until after I got my coffee. I told the barista/waiter to cancel it when I got my coffee but he said it was also ready for us and could put it in a to-go cup for her. That kind of defeated the whole experience of drinking tea while waiting for our meal. 5. The service was really slow. Took over 15 minutes to get our (tap) waters and 20 minutes for our food when we were the only ones in the restaurant until we had placed our order. 6. The waitress needs some serious people skills and bussing training to know how to serve food and drinks. She touched the tops of the glasses her fingers. She didn't greet us and practically dropped the plates on the table when she brought them out. To add insult to injury, she put the handheld pay device on the table without asking us if we wanted or needed anything else. My kids wanted to try out some desserts, so luckily for us, the nearby HEB has plenty to offer. I had high hopes for this place because of what the owner posted on Instagram and it is so close to our neighborhood.
