    Curry Chicken Bowl

This place is flavorful and healthy a lot of options to create your meal too. We need more places that offer whole food like this one.

Bowls & Go is such a hidden gem! I built my own bowl with quinoa, chickpeas, and grilled protein, and everything was incredibly fresh and vibrant. The flavors are clearly cultural-inspired, which makes each bowl feel unique and intentional. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. 10/10 -- I'll definitely be back!

Bowls N Go offers healthy Mediterranean meals that are highly customizable. You can include lots of proteins (including plant-based choices) and add as much or as little spice as you want. The service is friendly and patient. You can dine in or get your order to go. Whether you get a bowl or a wrap, you will get lots of nutrition and a strong energy boost for your day.

Either I get lucky every time I come here or they're that fast and efficient with getting customers in and out This restaurant is always clean from the FOH to the restroom. I like to build my own bowl and they provide fair helpings of each topping I choose. I love the flavor combos and varieties you can choose from and even some other options that no other place has such as edamame. I love that they have special boxes that they seal in store for you!

Bowls N Go is a fantastic Mediterranean spot offering fresh, flavorful, and customizable meals. I'm a huge fan of their create-your-own bowl concept. Their yellow rice and cucumber salad base provide a refreshing foundation, and the shredded lamb is incredibly tender and delicious. I also like the variety of toppings and dips available. They also seal bowls for to-go orders which is a thoughtful touch. While they offer signature bowls, wraps, and other things, I've been so enamored with my personalized bowl combination that I haven't had a chance to try other things. =P Here's my current favorite create-your-own bowl creation: Base: Yellow Rice (Saffron?) and Cucumber Salad Protein: Lamb (shredded and so delicious) Dips: Classic Hummus, Feta Dip, Carrot Hummus Toppings: Pickled Cabbage, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Chickpeas, Feta Cheese Sauce: Tahini Yogurt and Olive Oil

Holler to Bowls N Go! A local joint that I'm gunna give a lotta love to because it was awesome. Healthy Mediterranean food with fresh ingredients, and a whole lotta flavor. You can customize your bowls or order off their menu. They offer wraps as well. I customized my bowl and ordered : Base- spinach and mix of marinated diced tomatoes/cucumbers Protein- 1/2 shredded lamb and 1/2 spicy meatballs Spread- dolma and baba ganoush Toppings - corn, lentils, jalapeños, black/green olives Dressing - olive oil and pomegranate dressing per employee suggestion Came with 2 small pieces of pita bread Entire meal was delicious ! Meat was not bland or dry (highly recommend the spicy meatballs) , everything was tasty and well balanced. Next time I would love to try their baklava. Décor tastefully done- Frieda mural on one wall, their trays and tables were very nice- I was afraid to get them dirty lol. Come and support them; they've only been open 8 months! Great food and friendly service.

THIS WAS SO GOOD! Definitely going to become a regular here, I was looking for something on the healthier side to eat and decided to give this place a chance. Thank god I did. It felt like I was eating a really good home cooked meal. Service was fast and friendly and they have a clean place to enjoy your food in. 10/10

We love Bowls n Go! I found this place last December when we had family in town that follow a vegan diet. We were in a pinch to find something quick and I found this place using Yelp! I was concerned because we have some very picky eaters in our group. But everyone LOVED it! We have since returned several times! On our first visit the owner gave us complimentary baklava which was so incredibly kind! On our last visit we pretty much took over the restaurant because we had such a huge party. 20 people! The staff were so accommodating and encouraged us to rearrange the tables however we needed to accommodate our party. We love this place and plan to return often!

Hidden Gem! We need to do everything possible to get this place more traffic! It's absolutely amazing! Assembly-line ordering. They have their special bowls and wraps but you can create your own. Everything looked SO FRESH. My husband and I both tried the grilled chicken. It was so juicy. I loved all the topping options. The green beans were probably my favorite and the spicy hummus is phenomenal. if it's your first time, be sure to let them know and the staff will assist you and give great recommendations. This is so close to my house, so we will be back forever more!

I love to find a spot with healthy options and Bowls N Go does not disappoint. There's a spacious dining area and lots of menu options. The staff is always kind and make your bowl as you order it with bread included if you'd like. One of my favorites is the Diet Chicken Salad. It's super flavorful and always filling!

Came in for lunch. Location was not busy at all. Music is authentic and a great backdrop for the food. Aesthetic is wonderful. Simple woods, colorful painting and signage displaying dishes made here. People working behind the counter were exceptionally friendly. I had the Shredded Lamb Wrap with spicy sauce. It was authentic (I've been to Greece and the Middle East so I've had this type of food from the source) and delicious. Portions are very good for the price. Pita bread was soft, warm, and perfectly seasoned. The pickled cabbage was also VERY good. Wife had a curry chicken bowl with roasted red pepper hummus and tzatziki. Yellow rice was good, chicken is good and not spicy at all. I'm not a fan of red pepper hummus, but it is good. Baklava came with our meals and it is sweet, crispy and delicious. We will for sure be back.

I wanted something quick and healthy for lunch and Bowls n Go popped up on yelp. The restaurant was not crowded, and I was able to walk right up and order right at noon. The server was very friendly and my chicken wrap was excellent. They use fresh ingredients and make your order right in front of you.

Our twelve guests ranged in age from 14-79 years, and everyone had a wonderful experience. We began with waters for the table, soft drinks, and cocktails/mocktails (Man Walks into a Bar, Amba No. 5, Don Alberto, Green Shug Collins). Due to our large party, we had booked a chef's tasting experience, which was spectacular. The appetizers were plentiful, flavorful, and unique. Our server, Anissa, did a wonderful job of explaining each dish-- its components, highlights, even suggesting that after finishing the beef dumplings, we stir the oil and yogurt together for an amazing pita dipping sauce. Our meal included four meats-- actually five, considering an off menu chef's creation for our pescatarian guest. It was such an immersive experience, I never took out my phone to capture photos of the food (or our group, sadly). Three desserts topped off the evening. When (not if) we return, we'll certainly request Anissa again. She made the evening a complete delight, even bringing out celebratory candles for our honored guests.

Bib Gourmand? Went after reading all the rave reviews,…read moreespecially about the Table of Joy tasting menu. All the reviews highlight the creativity, the fresh take on Mediterranean cuisine. So we went for the $65 pp Table of Joy. Everything was tasty, the pita bread served blazing hot is a stand out. Our first course options were hummus and Hungarian feta with Aleppo pepper. Both very tasty but not terribly creative choices I thought. Then a bean salad arrived. Again tasted very nice, a nice cold bean salad. Saffron chicken skewer and a pork souvlaki skewer. Pork was quite tough, although a very nice char. Chicken was tender and the orzo pasta was very interesting. Dessert was chocolate pudding with some edible flowers, dill, sesame seed and small cookies crumbles on top. Yes, it all tasted very good. Service attentive. Nice ambiance. However I was expecting more for our $200 ( 2 Table of Joy, 2 beers and a Turkish coffee). Not more food, the portions were not an issue, but something more creative. Something that would change my impression of Mediterranean cuisine. I can get hummus, feta & skewers at any number of much more reasonably priced Mediterranean restaurants. Even taking into account 'The Pearl mark up', in the end I can't say I'm impressed. Disappointed we spent that much money. Can't recommend this to friends or family.

We left quite stuffed and extremely satisfied. It was a nice day so we ate outside but the interior was very pleasant and was filled with diners even at 2 pm. Upon entry, my guest and I were greeted promptly and invited to sit anywhere we liked. My guest and I immediately noticed the traditional Turkish aromatics that filled the establishment. The waitress who tended to our table was engaging and explained the menu in depth as well as vouched for the food's authenticity. As my guest and I wanted to try multiple menu items, we elected to order the dishes that offered an array of food. Appetizer: Cold Platter This dish included hummus, babaganoush, dolma, ezme, and piyaz. The plater was properly "stacked" with the flavors of the app. going from "punchy" to mild. The piyaz was a perfectly balanced white bean salad packed with Mediterranean flavors. This combination of white beans, tomatoes, onions, and parsley was simple and yet deliciously satisfying! The dolma on this dish was a perfect combination of filling vegetables, grape seeds, Rumex, hornbeam, and quince leaves, with a kick of lemon. The babaganoush was light and refreshing. The simple combination of roasted eggplant, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt is something that is not to be missed if you are looking for a vitamin packed dip. The Ezme "mashed" was made mainly with tomatoes, cucumber, and olive oil and packed a little punch, which most likely was accredited to the peppers. Main: Hot Mixed Platter This dish included meatballs, chicken, beef, and lamb (doner) atop veggies and rice. All the meats on the plate were seasoned to perfection and tender. My guest and I ate the meats so quickly that I am not able to appropriately describe the flavors other than with the a word, "delectable". Dessert: Dessert Platter This platter had a sampling of Tiramisu, čupavci, KÜnefe, and Baklava. Although the čupavci and KÜnefe looked great, I couldn't eat them as they both are made with coconuts (to which I am allergic). I actually took a bite of the KÜnefe before I realized that it had coconut shavings in it. With this dessert, the cheese is arranged between two layers of Kadayıf (shredded phyllo), cooked until golden, and soaked in a sweet syrup. The čupavci (sponge cake) was soaked in chocolate sauce, then dipped in unsweetened, shredded coconut. Fun fact: Čupavci means "furry" because of the fuzzy surface the coconut provides, which I learned when I visited Turkey many years ago. Java Folks who read my reviews know that I am a java junkie. So, of course, I requested the Turkish coffee. Turkish coffee is prepared with more water than its Italian counterparts and is meant to be sipped rather than drunk quickly like a shot. There is also a tradition of reading the grinds at the bottom of the cup to tell fortunes, known as tasseography. Turkish coffee cups are small, similar to the size of an espresso cup, but with a rich history of their own. This coffee is prepared traditionally and provided a much needed pick me up. This family restaurant has authentic quality food and the highest level of service. If in the area, this locally owned spot is worth a try. Total for the meal before tip $89.00 #supportlocal

It doesn't feel like a strip mall restaurant. It feels intentional. The pastry case alone deserves its own review. Piped butter cookies, rose-dotted squares dusted with cardamom, delicate filled rolls -- it's the kind of display that makes you order dessert before you've even sat down. And then the food. The chicken shawarma bowl is not playing around -- seasoned chicken, kalamata olives, crumbled feta, creamy garlic sauce over a bed of greens, finished with cracked pepper. Every bite is layered and bold. The kind of meal that makes you pause mid-fork and just appreciate it. What sets Tripoli's apart isn't just the food or the ambiance. It's that the whole experience feels curated. Like someone who actually loves this culture built this place and meant every single detail. San Antonio has been sleeping on this gem. Wake up!!

The ambiance was great, everything from the decorative rugs, Arab writing on the wall, tagine pottery and brass crafts were perfectly displayed. The tabbouleh salad was very tasty, it had the right amount of ingredients making it pretty as well as colorful placed in the neat brass metal bowl. Now with the things that require immediate remedial attention: 1. The burger was overrated, overcooked and dry. 2. The chick pea salad lacked chick peas, dressing, onions and feta cheese. 3. The lamb Kofta plate was prepared right however, it was not enough meat for the price and the cream sauce tasted like straight butter with a hint of garlic. The pita bread was lukewarm and looked like it had been unwrapped, quartered and thrown in a microwave for 30 seconds prior to serving it. 4. Drinks Ordered: The Cafe' Arabia was very tasty BUT, I didn't get it until we were almost done with our meal. We ordered drinks when we were first seated so that was a big red flag. My wife also ordered the Moroccan mint teapot and she didn't get it until after I got my coffee. I told the barista/waiter to cancel it when I got my coffee but he said it was also ready for us and could put it in a to-go cup for her. That kind of defeated the whole experience of drinking tea while waiting for our meal. 5. The service was really slow. Took over 15 minutes to get our (tap) waters and 20 minutes for our food when we were the only ones in the restaurant until we had placed our order. 6. The waitress needs some serious people skills and bussing training to know how to serve food and drinks. She touched the tops of the glasses her fingers. She didn't greet us and practically dropped the plates on the table when she brought them out. To add insult to injury, she put the handheld pay device on the table without asking us if we wanted or needed anything else. My kids wanted to try out some desserts, so luckily for us, the nearby HEB has plenty to offer. I had high hopes for this place because of what the owner posted on Instagram and it is so close to our neighborhood. Guess we will have to continue driving further into the city to other Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern restaurants that have better food and service.
