The food is excellent! Always on point, hot to order. However tonights service was not so great, the gal at the counter had the worst attitude and acted annoyed that we were ordering food... at a food joint? We were waiting off to the side for our pita chips to be freshly cooked and when ready she threw them down on the counter and walked away. She rolled her eyes when we asked if this was ours and then we bagged out own food and left. I am hoping this was just an off day for her. read more

I'm not one to typically leave a review, good or bad, but I was very disappointed with this experience. Lots of fatty chicken, uncooked rice, drink dispenser got stuck and made a mess, staff was not friendly and made our meal to go without asking. We had planned to dine in and purposely checked the hours before arriving. We got there a little before 8 pm and at 8:30 we were approached with a super rude, "you've been sitting here a while" and was told the dining room was closing. We were then asked if we'd like help cleaning up and throwing our food away. The hours on the door and the website said open until 10:00 pm daily, when I asked why the door says 10, I was told "those are the building hours, our dining room closes now" Needless to say, I'm now leaving this review and am not happy. read more

Awful customer service and never order online, the system is not accurate and will bump you to the next day. The employees were complaining the whole time I waited in line to clarify the error in my order of being bumped to the next day. Literally left due to the slow service and complaining. Beware of CAVA unless you want to hear complaining and have time in your life to burn. read more

The only good thing about this place is the food. It's tasty. But even then, make sure you go earlier in the day. If you go later in the day, the rice will be hard and they most likely will not make new food when it runs out or goes bad. If you MUST eat from this location, I suggest using the app for pick-up so you don't have to interact with some of the staff. Because most likely, they don't want to interact with you. Like most people say in their reviews, they're unfriendly. There were probably only 2 of them that were very nice. read more

$38 for two mediocre Mediterranean paper bowl/plastic fork salads.....way too expensive!! The place looks like you walked into Chipotle, where price/cost exceeded the food value a long time ago. Would not recommend this joint unless you don't care about your wallet or if a bland expensive food will satisfy your cravings....then do it. If you want better food....Pita Jungle is across the street (sorry I strayed). I'm going there next time, way better food, way better experience, higher value experience and about the same price......the pic says it all. read more

I had an amazing first visit! The second time the staff was very different and sluggish. It was a couple nights ago. They were out of a lot. They didn't seem to care and charged the same price for steak feta wrap missing several items it typically comes with. They also did very little steak. My first time the portion was great and the wrap was perfect. Really disappointing and inconsistent. read more

UPDATE as of April 29, 2022: this location closes at 4PM!! The sign in the window says "due to unforeseen circumstances" but they've had that up for at least a week and it is obviously because of staffing issues. The food is really good, but like others have said they are so understaffed that it can take up to an hour just to order. Also recommend going in person to order as I've had issues with things missing/incorrect whenever I use the app to order pick up. read more

This is by far my worst experience to a fast food restaurant let alone a Cava location. It was 9pm an hour before closing to provide context. Upon ordering we ordered a bowl and a pita. They only had maybe 50% of the ingredients available and told us they don't have any more to make. There was about 50% of the saucers and dips available. There was only 50% of the toppings as well. No steak, no tzatziki sauce, no Harris's vinaigrette, no corn, no broccoli just bake a few key items you'd expect coming here. Now let's get to my pita and how it was made in the most sloppiest way possible. See pictures. All the food was cold and mind you we ate there. There was no lemonades or any soda in the fountain drink dispenser. They should've just closed down for the night. Despite all this that could be due to inventory issues the staff failed to clean off any tables for patrons. There were 14 tables total and each and every one of them was dirty and we had to wipe off our table just to sit and be completely disappointed in our food and experience with Cava. I hope this message finds the right person and you avoid this location at all costs!!!!!!! I'd give a negative star if possible. They didn't even offer to make it right or give me good credit. read more

I finally tried Cava for the first time and it was soooo yummy! I would recommend just piling on anything to your bowl that sounds good to you and it will turn out great! I tried a grains bowl with lamb meatballs and a bunch of extras and it was so full of flavor. I think I'm addicted now! I did a quick and convenient order online so it was an easy pickup for me, I love that! Also it looked very clean and kept up inside. I will definitely be back (a lot) and highly recommend. Just came here to grab lunch at 12:30 on a Sunday. Kid you not, it took half an hour and we were maybe 8th in line. There were two employees working in the front and they could not have moved slower if they tried. I honestly thought we were being punked. If I was rating incompetence, they would get 5-stars. Haven't tried the food yet but unless it's legit the best thing I've ever tasted in my 28 years of life, I will not be returning. Good healthier food but very small portions. The staff is very stingy with the protein and toppings. They always give two very small scoops of protein and if you ask for extra protein your bowl will be over $20. Also, I'm not sure why they charge extra for the harissa honey chicken when the quality and size of the chicken pieces have gone down since they opened. Food is good but a staff that doesn't or doesn't now how to do their job or be helpful. Example the guy pulled my pita out of a container rod pitas and said they were out of pitas when I asked for their pita chips. Unfortunately for my wallet, I am absolutely addicted to Cava. The food is so delicious and there are so many ways to switch up your order. Is the service slower? Sure, not a big deal in my book considering the employment environment we're living in right now. My only issue is how inconsistent the sweet potatoes have been. Some days, they're crunchy because they are so undercooked. Other days, they're very dark and tasted charred. And the best days are when they are cooked to perfection. When I went Vegan in Los Angeles, Cava was the place that made the transition easy for me by being across the street and having so many vegan-friendly options to choose from. Good idea, bad execution. Went twice to try and be fair, both tomes we were stuck waiting for 20+ minutes for pickup orders, even with a pretty dead restaurant. I really love Cava, it is my newest go to but I don't think I will be going to this location anymore. This is my 2nd time here and I decided to mobile order this time due to a huge line a few weeks ago (national guard weekend). Big mistake, 1. Portion sizes are significantly smaller than built as you are in line. 2. The dressing was thrown on top and not given as a side. If I order a salad or even a bowl this should be a given and I shouldn't be charged extra for it. Overdressed salad is disgusting and that is what mine were. I took this all the way home from 44th to NE Mesa. 3. My salads/bowls were missing ingredients, no salt brined pickles, no pita chips. This is why I hate ordering online. Do yourself a favor don't order online go in you will get more bang for your buck. I will stick to the other locations. Oh something else this parking lot is a nightmare especially on the weekends due to Hash Kitchen, hence why I mobile ordered. It guaranteed 10 min parking spot for pickup. read more

I know they are new and they are still learning how to handle demand, but I placed an online order well over an hour ahead of time and it was not even half prepped when I walked in and there were no customers at the door or in the restaurant at the time. Last time I ordered I had to wait an additional 20 mins over my pickup time as well. The food is good, but their system is severely lacking. Hopefully they can get that fixed and I might become a regular. read more

Had to wait in a gnarly line because I couldn't find a way to place an order with details like "no feta" on an item. I got inside and there were 20 people ahead of me. The line moved so slowly but it wasn't because they were short on staff! Full assembly line behind the counter. I ordered 2 bowls and by the time I got to the 3rd person, he said the first person put the wrong grains in the bowl. Ughhhhhhh. Prices for add-ons are kind of high for the size of the scoop you're getting. Everyone keeps saying "ohhhh, it's the Mediterranean chipotle!" Chipotle is fast and at least with them, there's a chance I'll get food poisoning from one of their frequently recalled toppings and lose a pound. read more

I come to this location frequently, as it is close to work. I came in this week before my shift, and Jorge was great. Treated every guest with urgency, but did not rush them out. He made all of the orders with appropriate servings and ensured everything looked good from my end. My account points balance was presenting issues at checkout and he was able to fix it and still cuss the credit. He went above and beyond from start to end!
