I don't even know where to begin... As soon as I walked in, this place was clearly in chaos. There was a long line to place your order and the employees were beyond overwhelmed. I get it, they just opened and people are excited to try this new place, but to say they needed extra hands on deck is an understatement. Once it was my turn to order, I could see that the food trays were a mess. Half filled trays, spilled sauces, splatters on the counter, just a mess! I made my selections and the employees quickly plopped a very small portion of food into a bowl, slapped on a lid and slid it down the counter to the cashier. The cashier quickly rang me up and rush rush rush! On to the next customer! The customer experience alone was so unwelcoming and cold; like give me your money and get out! Now the taste test- I got the chicken, which I liked. My husband got steak and he absolutely hated the taste. Both portions were about the right size for a children's meal, NOT a full grown adult. The kicker, they give you a "side of pita" with your meal and it's literally a quarter piece of a single pita...that's right! ONE TRIANGLE not even a full piece of pita. This place is an absolute joke and I feel terrible that I made my husband come here. We will not be back. read more

Highly recommend this business! The food was great and the service was honestly top-notch. Plus the workers were so nice--Max, Gill, and Mark are truly stand-up guys! Portions are small compared to othe cavas. I got the built your own I got Brussels sprouts and some rice steak and veggies hummus and pickled onion and a small drink. My total was 25.96! So, yes I'm going to complain about the portion for that price I could have walked to Olive Garden. Gotten myself pasta and endless salad and a delicious peach. SMH. 1 star because I arrived at this location at 7:54 PM, and there was a sign on the door stating that they were closing early at 8 PM due to technical issues. However, the doors were already locked. While I understand the situation, the posted sign should be honored. If you say 8 PM, then mean it! Customers can't be expected to know when the store is closing, which is exactly why the time on the sign should be followed. read more

Second time visiting this location and they are terrible. Very slow service, rude staff, LONG wait times even if you order online they will be backed up. Speaking of rude staff, I am only referring to the girl at the register who wears glasses and has dark hair. I was there yesterday (8/19/24) around 330pm and she was terrible and had a bad attitude. She may need customer service training. I'll go back today to get her name. The manager also has no idea how to run this store. I asked him about how to redeem my points on the CAVA app because I had an offer for free pita chips, he was clueless. I don't know how you can run a store and not know how to do this basic thing. He then suggested I contact customer service since he doesn't know how to do it.. and then decided he would try to see if putting in my number would work and that finally worked. The food at Cava is amazing. The food here is way better than chipotle and the flavor is 10x better. I've been coming to this location for the past 2 month about twice a week. The staff there is great Mark always has the best customer service and always has the best recommendations when I want to try something new. The staff is always welcoming when I walk through the doors. The cucumber mint drink is a Highly recommended drink for everyone to try. read more

I just walked out of the Burbank location and decided to take my business elsewhere. This location as well as the Woodland Hills location seems to always be out of a lot of things, including their soda machine always seems to be broken. Being a vegetarian leads to already very few options, so being out of falafel the last few visits has been a huge let down. The Woodland Hills location is similar, also over crowded and pretty dirty. A new location seems to be opening in Studio City, which why bother? If you can't operate the other two to a satisfactory standard...why not quit while you're already behind? Cava's food is great and their soda partner's diet soda is very good too. It's a shame that these locations, especially Burbank's has completely gone down the toilet. read more

Food is typical of any Cava location, healthy! However for this particular location, it's quicker to order in person than to order online for a scheduled pick up, which is not good for people on the go. Workers unashamedly blame the system for slow service. Yanna in particular made sure to let everyone waiting know that if customers didn't feel like waiting, they could call customer service to cancel, furthermore she did not wish to be bothered because that will make orders take even longer. read more

I'm not sure what's going on with the pick up but I ordered at 11:43 am got here at 12 pm currently it's 12:30 and I'm still waiting for my order. This is the second time this is happening. Either they're too cheap to hire more workers or they are extremely slow. read more

I have never written a review before this one but this Cava in Burbank is not good at all. I have been to many good cava locations such as Pasadena, Hollywood etc. and this was the worst. I ordered a rice and chicken bowl and it barely had any chicken or rice (counted 2 pieces of chicken) . There were also ingredients that I doubled up on that were not included all together. Wouldn't come back to this location. Also sounds like this location is stingy with rice for some reason. read more

It was super delicious and she put all of the spicy toppings on the bowl for me which made it taste extra good!! The line was a bit long but I was in and out in 5 minutes. Have had this about 3 times. Depending on who is fixing your bowl you can have it 1/2 filled or filled to the top. I mean a huge difference. The 3rd time and last time I went the girl barely filled the bowl, it was ridiculous. To top it off they had no Tzatziki sauce and another sauce (forgot what it was) and no pita chips. The food was fine but this location is the only one I've been to that was out of this and out of that. They were out of more than several things. I kept overhearing the employee saying we're out of that repeatedly to the customers in front of me but almost like cutting them off before they could finish what they were saying. When it was my turn of course they didn't have what I wanted either which I normally would be like whatever but the fact that there was no apology or explanation as to why they were out of certain things and the delivery to customers was just awful. On top of this I ordered a drink and there was no ice in the machine I let the employee know and he let another know who was going to refill it. I got tired of waiting after 10 min so decided to eat. After about another 30 minutes of sitting there and finishing my food I decided to refill my cup on the way out and see if there was ice now and not surprised that of course there wasn't. The employees at this location just did not seem to care at all. This was a very frustrating experience that I did not expect to have at a place that I enjoy. read more

Sherman oaks location is superior. The employees here look like they hate their jobs. Every request seems to be a huge ask. They also are extremely slow at this location. Quality of produce has been kind of off as well. The lettuce and chicken seem to taste off. read more

Terrible location. They always run out of items like feta cheese. They will have it in the to go section but will not allow anyone eating at the location in line to have any. Foods aight, the outside doors are the real problem. I'm out here enjoying my meal enjoying the weather and all I hear is constant slamming of metal doors. Feels like I'm at the gates of Mordor.
