Harissa Avocado bowl absolutely drowned in spicy harissa sauce, making it difficult to eat
    Michele F.

I decided to stop in to grab something to eat before a long drive to Richmond, VA. The staff was pretty friendly and I was excited to try the new Harissa Avocado bowl with harissa honey chicken. I ordered it as is, as the ingredients looked great. Everything was fine until the employee absolutely drowned the bowl with spicy harissa dressing. It was so spicy that I choked several times while eating, and quickly finished my drink. Not the best thing to do before a 3+ hour drive. The employees need to take more care of how they complete customer orders. There was no reason why so much dressing should have been added to this bowl. I would not go out of my way to visit this establishment again.

The food was delicious...chops of vegetables and spices danced on my tongue making me burst with happiness and flavor thirsty but not parched I sip this wonderful ice filled mixture with a hint of lemons ohh goodness the lemonade was to die for cava 8/10

Love Cava!! My go to whenever I'm in canton and need a quick bite. The service is great and the inside is cute if you decide to eat in. If you don't know what to get, try my bowl: greens and grains bowl with super greens, brown rice, crazy feta, harissa, tzatziki spreads, spicy lamb meat balls, corn, olives, feta, pickled onions & cabbage, skhug & a side of pita chips & cucumber mint lemonade

I would give another location a try, but I was supremely disappointed in my experience here. GLOWS: - The few bites of food I had were actually quite tasty. The spicy chicken wasn't too spicy, and in the future I know that I can tolerate it. GROWS: - The shop was out of the chicken that comes with the tahini caesar bowl, so I ended up with falafel to be safe not knowing if the spicy chicken would be too much. They charged my wife extra for the spicy chicken, when I feel it would have been courtesy to provide the chicken since they were out of an essential item. - The bowl was so skimpy and picked over looking when I opened it. And it was missing pita strips, hummus and feta. So I was basically left with half a bowl. -i ended up returning the whole meal, as it was almost $20 for a bowl with much of nothing in it and a can drink.

    Take out!

This is a NEW Cava. And it's right next to Shake Shack, which was where most of the traffic was headed. They don't know what they're missing! It had been quite some time since I've been to CAVA. For real. I'm talking probably over a year. So I asked the woman to walk me through it. In the end, I believe she was the manager. She was patient and helpful. I got my bowl full of lamb goodness! I hate that I don't know the names of all the ingredients, but .....she understood what I wanted. I was excited and rushed to get home so I could eat. The store is pretty spacious. There were only a few people ordering so I was in & out. I took mine to go. When I got home I realized the lamb balls were a bit burned. So much so that they were tough and I could actually taste the char. I had forgotten about that warm bread, you know what I'm talking about. It's always good. Overall, ......it's CAVA. I'll be back for more.

hair on cava chip that was ordered from the Canton, MD location on 11/6/24
    Nicole S.

We ordered from the Canton, MD location and while eating I discovered a long piece of curly gray hair intertwined around my chip!! See picture above. I tried contacting the store to no avail so I put in a complaint with the corporate office and now I wait. This was so gross to discover and made me nauseous....my coworker also had the same kind of strand in her bowl! Beware because it could happen to you and I LOVE CAVA BUT YUCKKKK!!!

Blond hair! A picture is the nasty salad!
    Andrea F.

My coworkers and I ordered food today and was blessed with nasty long blond hair in our food. This is absolutely disgusting! No telling what else's could have been mixed in our salads and pita chips! I tried calling the restaurant on Boston street but of course the mailbox is full! Very disappointed and disturbed!

This was my first time at a Cava, so I'm not sure how the serving size, quality, or customer service of this location compares to others. I created my own bowl and was very lucky that the girl helping us was so patient. She walked me through everything because I had no idea how to order or what to get. I really enjoyed the meal, It's a little pricier than like chipotle, which is the most comparable restaurant in my opinion. I will be going back again for quick lunches!

My husband and I decided to check out Cava on an early Sunday evening for dinner when we didn't feel like cooking. I put in our order online and came to pick it up at the scheduled time. I've only ever gone to the sit down waiter service Cava a long time ago, but I was looking forward to the quick service Cava here. The immediate parking lot is a bit small, but there's a larger parking lot for the sprouts, and you could just walk over. There's a large wall for online/pick up/delivery orders. My order wasn't ready yet, and it did take them a couple of minutes past the scheduled time to get ready. Which I didn't mind. We ordered a jasmine tea, a half greens/half rice bowl with meatballs, a spicy lamb meatball pita, 2 pita breads, the hummus, and the crazy feta. Everything was well packaged for take out. I really enjoyed the bowl and the unlimited toppings. The harissa has a kick to it, and I loved the pickled veggies. It was the perfect portion size for me, I wasn't hungry after eating it, and not overly stuffed. The pitas/dip was fantastic. We really enjoyed the crazy feta. It was tangy yet had great flavor. The jalepenos were a fantastic addition. My husband enjoyed his wrap but it was super messy. He said he wanted to make his own bowl next time like I did. The jasmine tea was fine, I would go for the other drinks next time. Overall a pretty decent meal. I would definitely come back because of convenience. And it was pretty delicious!

This location has really turned around. Fully stocked with fresh ingredients. Customer service has been welcoming and efficient. Love a good Cava location!

We went on a Monday night at 9:05pm and they were out of chicken and offered the 6 customers in line the spicy chicken at the regular chicken rate. I felt bad for the people who did pre orders because they were behind and didn't make their bowls. Those in line ended up leaving before the preorder people. This is one location I would not do a preorder for. I would have given them 3 stars had they not given us the discount.

My experience was very underwhelming. The positives: I liked that there is a parking lot across the street specifically for the restaurant because street parking is very limited. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was nice and tried her best to be attentive even though the kitchen was so backed up and moving at a snails pace. The pita bread was delicious. The desserts were great. My favorites were the baklava and loukoumades. Really the only dessert I didn't care for was the chocolate rum and roses cake because I'm not a big rose fan because it has the tendency of overpowering the other flavors in certain treats. The negatives: The kitchen was very slow at getting things out, even though the restaurant wasn't packed. Aside from the desserts, I didn't care for the food. The biggest issue was everything was lukewarm by the time we received it at our table. The hummus was just ok. The bread was great alone. The Greek village salad had way more feta than anything else and needed more oil and vinegar. The spanakopita was ok but some batches came out burnt but they were never hot. The Cyprus meatballs were so burnt that we couldn't even eat them. The lamb and beef dip was too salty. The stuffed grapes leaves were just ok. The macaronia tou fournou had the potential to be really good but it was not warm enough. I want to believe it was just a bad night and maybe their food is better outside of restaurant week but I'm afraid to try again and be disappointed. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning.

One is more of an expected dining room, and the other is a table space near the bar. We were seated in the latter section. I will say this was my only minor complaint. It seems like they want to be an upscale dining experience, but the presence of TVs playing sports is killing the vibe. However, the service and food by far compensated for that. Carolyn (I believe was her name) was our server, and she was just fantastic. She was pleasant and attentive. My daughter and I split four of the mezzedes, and I ordered the mushroom soup and she ordered a side of lemon potatoes. My favorite dish was the wood-fired olives. Simple, but so very good. She loved the halloumi so much, we got a second order (it is a super small serving). The spanikopita, on the other hand, was quite large and meant for sharing. We're vegetarian and found the options both bountiful and delectable. While it is a bit on the pricey end of the spectrum, I'd say it's worth it.

With main roads and side streets finally cleared... I booked a RW dinner res at Costiera. There is a parking garage across the street for 5 dollars. We walked over (still icy ugh) but made it in and were seated. Interior was very nicely done up with wicker basket light fixtures and a nice colorful mural above the host stand. Our server AJ took great care of us- they were funny, attentive and very friendly. For restaurant week the menu honestly was fantastic with many options for every person's palate and dietary preferences. I went with the octopus appetizer, squid ink bucatini with calamari, and a pound cake with lemon curd and mint whipped cream. Every single thing I had was delicious. The octopus was grilled perfectly and tender and the bean puree and potato paired nicely. The pasta was umami and not too tomatoey or acidic. My pound cake was tasty with the tanginess of the curd pairing well with the whipped cream. My boyfriend enjoyed his mushroom soup, his mushroom bolognese rigatoni( i tried this, I would absolutely order this next time)and a decadent chocolate tart. If you're reading this and they extended their restaurant week menu, go now and enjoy a fantastic meal.

However, our server attempted to scam my credit card, which made for a very unpleasant experience. I have never seen anything like it before, and it left me feeling uncomfortable. From the start, the server seemed pushed to sell additional items, and her attitude was off. We decided to ignore her and enjoy our meals instead. After we finished eating, she came over and asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu. When I said no thank you, her demeanor changed. Then I requested the bill, and she brought it. We still tried to overlook her poor attitude. I was shocked to find that she had added a 48% tip without informing me. I questioned her about the discrepancy in the bill amounts compared to the previous one. She said she needed to check and would get back to me, but when she returned, she concocted a story claiming she had charged my card for another tap. Which could have happened, but she just brought it without checking. When I asked if she had double-checked before bringing the bill to me, she remained silent and just looked at me. Strangely, the manager never approached us to apologize; he just observed from a distance. Which was very funny, I have never felt like this before. Given the similar reviews I had seen, I didn't believe her story. I will never return to this place, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone in town. There are many other options available. Don't let them scam you. The management should be ashamed for allowing scammers to victimize their customers repeatedly.
