This time I stepped away from my usual order and tried the Mediterranean Salad, and I'm glad I did! It comes topped with grilled chicken and is served with pita slices and hummus. Everything worked together perfectly--it was fresh, flavorful, filling, and just really good! My usual go-to, though, is The Hurdle--turkey, bacon, Gouda cheese, sesame ginger dressing, lettuce, and tomato on panini bread. I definitely customize mine : no tomato, extra bacon, no dressing, and I prefer it cold instead of hot. So good! I also had a mocha with an extra espresso shot and extra chocolate , while my daughter and my mom enjoyed breakfast. What really makes BeanRunner special is the atmosphere. You can sit inside or outside, and the whole place gives me a cool Brooklyn lounge/café feel. Inside, you have beautiful authentic brick walls, plants thoughtfully placed throughout the seating areas, and curated artwork displayed on the walls--some of which is even available for purchase. The location is tucked back on Esther Place in Peekskill, across from the large Assumption Church building, and that may honestly be BeanRunner's biggest disadvantage.
