Wings, salt and Vinegar and the carolina bbq

What a nice place. Great local place with good people, food and drink. Outside was really nice, staff were all great, very responsive, quick to get a drink or anything else. Drinks were nice, good beer and drink selection. Aps were great, Mac and Cheese supper cheesy and huge. Spam was to die for, my cardiologist favorite. What a great idea, crisp and tasty. Caesar salad was fantastic, super tasty dressing. Wings were supper tender and delicious. The Salt and Vinegar and the Carolina Bbq both great, not too much vinegar. Desert, Brownie was an a flood of flavor and chocolate. We had the espresso gelato. "perfect!!" Overall a super nice place that I can tell all the locals love. I will be back again.

A chalkboard sign placed on a sidewalk displays information about a DJ event named 'Shadow Realm' scheduled for Saturday, July 19. The sign features a detailed skeleton drawing with blue eyes, a moon, and clouds, along with event details including DJ start time at 9 PM, and music genres like midna and mayhem. Additional notes mention park, wave, post-punk, and synth pop music styles.

This place is soooo easy to drive right past and ignore...BIG MISTAKE! WOW! We finally tried the spot after hearing about it over and over..where do I start? The place is absolutely charming..you walk in and see a Gorgeous bar on your left, an adorable cozy hidden court yard behind it, and the coolest dining room I have ever been in. The pics below don't do the place justice..its so eclectic..a cross between a ManCave and your favorite Aunts living room and IT WORKS! LOL The Food was delicious..we both had a Checken Grilled Cheese sandwich which was amazing ! Nice wine selection and lots of cool signature cocktails ( that I intend on trying very soon ) ok now let's talk about the thing that topped everything mention above...Our Server / Bartender Ash...Ash is one of the coolest, nicest people I have meet in a long time..She not only served us beautifully, but she gave us history on the building, info about events that they host, and treated us like family. We loved Ash so much, after lunch we followed her to the bar ( yes, she was tending bar and waiting the dining room by herself..yet, everyone was taken care of so well ) and had a few more glasses of wine just to enjoy her personality for just a little longer. The bar is sooo cool to sit at with unique memorabilia, custom artwork and funny unique bottles..you just have to check it out to understand. Anyway, if you find yourself in Peekskill and want to discover a new awsome little gem, stop in and ENJOY!!

Attitude - and not in a good way. Overpriced AF. They are still trying to push OLD beer at full price too. Still charging full price for MAD EKED a Christmas beer months later. Mark or down and sell it off instead of trying to get for 1 12oz bottle what a 6pk normally costs at shoprite...SMH

Grilled cheese was sooooo good. - A toasted grilled cheese sandwich with golden-brown bread is placed on a tray lined with pink and white striped paper. Next to it, there is a small bowl of mixed salad containing lettuce, cherry tomato halves, and cucumber slices. The tray is set on a table with utensils and condiments visible in the background, suggesting a casual dining setting.

The food was really good. The service was very very good despite the fact it was packed. Cool place and a nice mix of patrons. The grilled cheese was great and so was the cocktail. It had lichee can't remember the name

Zarolyn is such a taste explosion! I'm getting that next time - A person is holding a large sandwich with visible layers of bread, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and meat. The sandwich is above a basket of crinkle-cut fries lined with orange polka dot paper, placed on a dark wooden table. The person wears a black T-shirt with a colorful logo featuring the Statue of Liberty and the text 'WMC HEALTH'. The background includes green plants and a white napkin on the table.

This is officially my new fave spot in Peekskill. The new owners did such a fabulous job of updating and revamping the space to make it even more welcoming and fun. Two pinball machines, lots of board games, dart board and a perfect cozy outdoor patio. So far I've enjoyed the spam fries, garlic parm wings and the zarolyn which blew my mind w flavor! The drinks are a plentiful variety and not overpriced like other local spots. $3 PBR?! Count me in. I'll be returning again and again and will probably be of their biggest spam eaters. This place does not disappoint and portions

Great beers and cocktails - A woman with curly, shoulder-length hair and a nose piercing sits at a wooden table in a restaurant or bar. She is holding a can of Harvest Zombie beer and smiling while looking down. There is a glass mug with a red beverage on the table in front of her. The background includes a window with natural light, a plant, and arcade machines. The setting appears casual and relaxed.

The server said to give her one... Lol I can't do that. I'll give her a 10 out of five. She's fantastic, warm, friendly and you feel like you're at home when you're sitting here eating delectable delights created in the kitchen and brought out like a five star restaurant. Don't overlook this hidden gem.

The Chicken with broccoli rabe and truffle potatoes.

There's a big stage and fab lighting throughout...looks like a great place to enjoy some live entertainment. We went before a (Paramount) show and sampled the pizza, Brussels sprouts, wings and specialty cocktails. Our friends had pasta dishes that received rave reviews. Service was very friendly but since it was on the busy side, the food took a little while (which was totally fine since we had plenty of time before the show started). Really enjoyed my meal and I'll be sure to visit again.

We tend to follow the local cover band Run For Cover, and with them talking about this place on their podcast, we decided to make the drive from Connecticut to go see them play here. We came for the music, so I'll mention the stage first. I'd say there isn't a bad seat in the house, but there are. You can scoot your chair, though, so I'll say there isn't a bad table in the house. Acoustics are nice, and the stage lighting doesn't usually move around and shine directly into your retina. Table service keeps the food and drink coming so you don't miss a minute. Now, onto the food. Their pizzas are made from scratch with their house-made sourdough starter, and it sounds like they do a better job of keeping it healthy than I do. (I wonder if I can take some home. I should ask next time.) The result is a pizza crust that is light and airy, but is dense enough to provide what The Sporkful calls "toothsinkability." They don't put the kitchen sink on their pizzas, so don't expect the crust to flop over the entire time you're holding your slice. There are plenty of special pizzas, or you can build your own. Each one has a fully-cooked but not burnt crust, pretty close to the classic New York style that's an hour south. It's hard to resist a good pizza, so we haven't tried too much of the rest of the menu. Our forays into the appetizer section have been great, and the dishes I see pass by all give my eyeballs a feast. The craft beer selection is a little thin, with a list of five or six regional ones scrawled in chalk on one wall. Still, if you like IPA's, lagers, or ales, you should find at least one you'll like. Street parking can be a pain, but there is a parking garage a few blocks away that's free at night. EV owners, you'll have to fight over a double-corded L2 ChargePoint station around the corner. (Get with the times, Peekskill!) Fortunately, I think it's free for the first few hours, so consider yourself lucky to get a plug!

The restaurant was extremely busy and clearly understaffed -- there were only two servers working incredibly hard. Service was definitely slow, but I give them a lot of credit for doing their best under the circumstances. They were very gracious and even brought us a complimentary drink to apologize for the wait, which was a really nice touch. Despite the delays, the food was excellent. The nachos were great, the French dip and chicken sandwich were both very good, and honestly, the fries were some of the best I've ever had. We also tried their house-made beer, which was delicious. One thing to note is the layout of the restaurant. It's right next to (and partially within) the arcade, so it can get very loud with lots of kids running around and yelling. I can definitely see the appeal for parents -- being able to eat and have a drink while keeping an eye on their kids is a big plus. For those without kids or looking for a quieter, kid-free night, it's just something to be aware of. That said, I'd love to come back in the summer and sit on the outdoor deck along the water. Overall, a cool spot with great food.

I paid for my food when I ordered and the girl whims the bar that took my order kept the coins of my change without asking. I thought maybe she made a mistake, but I ordered a beer after the meal to wash down the terrible chicken sandwich and she did it again. Wouldn't patronize this place again if it was the only place open.

We know we really upset one of the owners by our last review, but if you don't get good feedback,…read moreyou can never improve. I love your restaurant. The last time I ordered takeout I got a salad with micro greens and some of the micro greens were already rotting. Nobody likes that. The toasted bun was old. We can tell it's almost a curse to have multiple taste buds and be a super taster, which is what we technically are. All we can say to the owners is that your staff, and we've been through this before with even Michelin starred restaurants that when people stop coming to your restaurant, there's something terribly wrong. We're begging the owners to please do something! When we used to go there for lunch,, I had many a happy vegan burger. Yet this is no longer the case because your staff is completely demoralized. Your food sits in the walk-in and rots because you don't have enough business. Last time we were there for lunch, or maybe it was the time before that, the bar was filled to capacity and people were laughing and joking. We were the only people in the restaurant last time we went, and then the pick up order was the death blow. Please, Owner do something! Do happy hour. Make a seasonal menu. There's something really wrong going on here and I don't see anyone addressing it. We truly hope you take this in the right spirit because we don't want our local restaurants closing, especially ones that we really enjoyed. The casual atmosphere, of the politeness and professionalism of the servers is great. One suggested we have is that your restaurant is pretty hard to find even though it's on the main street in Croton On Hudson. There are no outside signs and we walked past it so many times it's not funny. If you can't think of anything to improve your business, then if we were you, and we're not you, we would just close and cut our losses. Owners please use your imagination or ask other successful restaurants what they are doing because we know you have at least two others. Please do something to save your restaurant. We don't eat at McDonald's we never have. We've never had a fast food hamburger in our lives! It's the disgusting smell that got us and this was before I was vegan or vegetarian same goes for my husband. It would hurt us personally, even though it's not our restaurant to see you close . Maybe you overextended yourselves we have no idea, but one of the owners or investors must do something if you want to save this restaurant! DO SOMETHING! Please getting angry at us for telling our honest picky opinion is not going to pick up your sales. You should also invite feedback because then you know which mistakes you're making with the public instead of having a fit because somebody wrote a negative review of your Restaurant. If you would take the time to look at our reviews, you would see at the beginning we gave you five stars and now we just can't in all honesty and we're not gonna lie about it. Wishing you the best of luck and we know you don't like being told what to do, but you must do something unless you just are going to close this restaurant. You're paying people, except the weight staff of course, decent money we assume. Please don't waste all this effort that you already put in unless you think it's a better idea just to close. We're very sorry we had to write this review.

No attempt to make it right, we didn't hear from a manager. Funniest example of bad service I have encountered in a really long time. We were at this spot for a New Year's Eve prix fixe dinner and despite the fact that the menu offerings looked very good , the food was not up to par. The potato leek soup was so under seasoned that it was essentially flavorless. The trick about a potato leek soup is that it should have some degree of salt and pepper. I had the duck and it was decent but the skin was not crisp and the aforementioned steak was overdone, but it was nice to know that the server was at least sorry. We ordered a bottle of wine and made the best of it. We met a nice couple when we mentioned that the gentleman's steak looked like it was cooked medium rare and when he heard us he offered "yeah but it sucked". The restaurant was clearly understaffed as there was one server in the rear dining room and nobody has apparently bothered to explain that when someone says that their steak is overdone the food should be removed and replaced with something approaching what was ordered.
