Chicken pot pie - A close-up of a chicken pot pie slice in a black dish, showing flaky crust and creamy filling with vegetables and chicken.

Well we went back for a second time and my husband loved his meal - pit beef sandwich. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was terrible. Their curry didn't go with the sandwich at all and I thought it was just the curry so I brought it home for my pups. But it was grayish and I wasn't about to feed it to them either so the garbage can ate it! It was a greasy overcooked mess. If your chicken sandwich isn't better than Popeyes do yourself a favor and take it off the menu.

Terrible slices (2) of sinewy Corned Beef from the Reuben, not fatty but tough sinewy slices. Just nasty!

1st visit to this bar/restaurant b4 a show at the Paramount which is conveniently around the corner and had drinks and food which were served promptly, bartender was very good but the food, a Corned Beef Reuben was inedible, it wasn't even a fatty type CB but it was 2 slices of sinewy tough CB that could barely be bitten through and ripped apart! I showed it to the bartender and she agreed that it wasn't very good looking, eventually it was taken off the bill. Very very disappointing that the cook couldn't tell the difference between cuts of CB especially in an Irish establishment. Never order that one again‼

There's a big stage and fab lighting throughout...looks like a great place to enjoy some live entertainment. We went before a (Paramount) show and sampled the pizza, Brussels sprouts, wings and specialty cocktails. Our friends had pasta dishes that received rave reviews. Service was very friendly but since it was on the busy side, the food took a little while (which was totally fine since we had plenty of time before the show started). Really enjoyed my meal and I'll be sure to visit again.

We tend to follow the local cover band Run For Cover, and with them talking about this place on their podcast, we decided to make the drive from Connecticut to go see them play here. We came for the music, so I'll mention the stage first. I'd say there isn't a bad seat in the house, but there are. You can scoot your chair, though, so I'll say there isn't a bad table in the house. Acoustics are nice, and the stage lighting doesn't usually move around and shine directly into your retina. Table service keeps the food and drink coming so you don't miss a minute. Now, onto the food. Their pizzas are made from scratch with their house-made sourdough starter, and it sounds like they do a better job of keeping it healthy than I do. (I wonder if I can take some home. I should ask next time.) The result is a pizza crust that is light and airy, but is dense enough to provide what The Sporkful calls "toothsinkability." They don't put the kitchen sink on their pizzas, so don't expect the crust to flop over the entire time you're holding your slice. There are plenty of special pizzas, or you can build your own. Each one has a fully-cooked but not burnt crust, pretty close to the classic New York style that's an hour south. It's hard to resist a good pizza, so we haven't tried too much of the rest of the menu. Our forays into the appetizer section have been great, and the dishes I see pass by all give my eyeballs a feast. The craft beer selection is a little thin, with a list of five or six regional ones scrawled in chalk on one wall. Still, if you like IPA's, lagers, or ales, you should find at least one you'll like. Street parking can be a pain, but there is a parking garage a few blocks away that's free at night. EV owners, you'll have to fight over a double-corded L2 ChargePoint station around the corner. (Get with the times, Peekskill!) Fortunately, I think it's free for the first few hours, so consider yourself lucky to get a plug!

The restaurant was extremely busy and clearly understaffed -- there were only two servers working incredibly hard. Service was definitely slow, but I give them a lot of credit for doing their best under the circumstances. They were very gracious and even brought us a complimentary drink to apologize for the wait, which was a really nice touch. Despite the delays, the food was excellent. The nachos were great, the French dip and chicken sandwich were both very good, and honestly, the fries were some of the best I've ever had. We also tried their house-made beer, which was delicious. One thing to note is the layout of the restaurant. It's right next to (and partially within) the arcade, so it can get very loud with lots of kids running around and yelling. I can definitely see the appeal for parents -- being able to eat and have a drink while keeping an eye on their kids is a big plus. For those without kids or looking for a quieter, kid-free night, it's just something to be aware of. That said, I'd love to come back in the summer and sit on the outdoor deck along the water. Overall, a cool spot with great food.

I paid for my food when I ordered and the girl whims the bar that took my order kept the coins of my change without asking. I thought maybe she made a mistake, but I ordered a beer after the meal to wash down the terrible chicken sandwich and she did it again. I have no problem with tipping and always tip more than 20%, but prefer to make the decision to tip on my own without being stolen from. Wouldn't patronize this place again if it was the only place open.

We know we really upset one of the owners by our last review, but if you don't get good feedback,…read moreyou can never improve. I love your restaurant. The last time I ordered takeout I got a salad with micro greens and some of the micro greens were already rotting. Nobody likes that. The toasted bun was old. We can tell it's almost a curse to have multiple taste buds and be a super taster, which is what we technically are. All we can say to the owners is that your staff, and we've been through this before with even Michelin starred restaurants that when people stop coming to your restaurant, there's something terribly wrong. We're begging the owners to please do something! When we used to go there for lunch,, I had many a happy vegan burger. Yet this is no longer the case because your staff is completely demoralized. Your food sits in the walk-in and rots because you don't have enough business. Last time we were there for lunch, or maybe it was the time before that, the bar was filled to capacity and people were laughing and joking. We were the only people in the restaurant last time we went, and then the pick up order was the death blow. Please, Owner do something! Do happy hour. Make a seasonal menu. There's something really wrong going on here and I don't see anyone addressing it. We truly hope you take this in the right spirit because we don't want our local restaurants closing, especially ones that we really enjoyed. The casual atmosphere, of the politeness and professionalism of the servers is great. One suggested we have is that your restaurant is pretty hard to find even though it's on the main street in Croton On Hudson. There are no outside signs and we walked past it so many times it's not funny. If you can't think of anything to improve your business, then if we were you, and we're not you, we would just close and cut our losses. Owners please use your imagination or ask other successful restaurants what they are doing because we know you have at least two others. Please do something to save your restaurant. We don't eat at McDonald's we never have. We've never had a fast food hamburger in our lives! It's the disgusting smell that got us and this was before I was vegan or vegetarian same goes for my husband. It would hurt us personally, even though it's not our restaurant to see you close . Maybe you overextended yourselves we have no idea, but one of the owners or investors must do something if you want to save this restaurant! DO SOMETHING! Please getting angry at us for telling our honest picky opinion is not going to pick up your sales. You should also invite feedback because then you know which mistakes you're making with the public instead of having a fit because somebody wrote a negative review of your Restaurant. If you would take the time to look at our reviews, you would see at the beginning we gave you five stars and now we just can't in all honesty and we're not gonna lie about it. Wishing you the best of luck and we know you don't like being told what to do, but you must do something unless you just are going to close this restaurant. You're paying people, except the weight staff of course, decent money we assume. Please don't waste all this effort that you already put in unless you think it's a better idea just to close. We're very sorry we had to write this review.

No attempt to make it right, we didn't hear from a manager. Funniest example of bad service I have encountered in a really long time. We were at this spot for a New Year's Eve prix fixe dinner and despite the fact that the menu offerings looked very good , the food was not up to par. The potato leek soup was so under seasoned that it was essentially flavorless. The trick about a potato leek soup is that it should have some degree of salt and pepper. I had the duck and it was decent but the skin was not crisp and the aforementioned steak was overdone, but it was nice to know that the server was at least sorry. We ordered a bottle of wine and made the best of it. We met a nice couple when we mentioned that the gentleman's steak looked like it was cooked medium rare and when he heard us he offered "yeah but it sucked". The restaurant was clearly understaffed as there was one server in the rear dining room and nobody has apparently bothered to explain that when someone says that their steak is overdone the food should be removed and replaced with something approaching what was ordered.
