Had the most amazing Friday night solo dinner. I was bored my daughter was going to a football game and I am never one to call ppl I know last minute so decided to take a walk on the wild side and treat myself to dinner and a drink. I'm so glad that I didn't talk myself out of trying this place. At walking everyone was all smiles especially the bartender who I wish I had gotten her name because her martini was one the best I have had in a long time. My server Olivia was so friendly and attentive. She recommended the burger which I passed on because I was in the mood for wings and so glad that's what I ordered. The old bay dry rub wings were cooked to perfection. I forgot to ask for extra crispy no need to panicked they were super crispy and juicy on the inside. My disco fries also were yummy and the gravy was so well seasoned I took some home. The outdoor patio is so beautiful and cozy. Inside is super clean and has an upscale dive bar decor. Stopped in here for dinner with the lodge crew and thankfully this place has ample space for maximum social distancing which is a relief. We had a fairly large group of about 8 (we all know each other tho and have been safe, dont worry.) All the food was amazing and they even had a beyond burger, score!! Tots are prime crispy and delish. Everyone else raved about their burgers, pulled pork, chicken etc Drinks were flowing and waitresses were attentive. Food took quite a bit to come out but then again we had a larger group than the norm lately. Prices are very affordable and for the quality of the bar food, its a win win! read more

Ohhhh this place!!! We went around 2:40 with a party of 10, including 6 kids. Lunch specials run till 3, so we made it in time. The service was excellent. The server wasn't annoyed with us. She was super attentive and gave great recommendations. I had the pasta special. It was ok. But the pizza was sooo good. I wish I would have gotten that instead. My husband had the fish and chips with a Guinness and he enjoyed that! Everyone in our party of 10 was happy. They also have games such as pool table, checkers, darts and like a mini curling game. They must have added more and more TV and added a subpar atmosphere. what I love about this place was the food and the way the staff made you feel welcome, like you were family. The food was good, not great like it use to be, but did it its job of filling me up. the staff now was not the warm and friendly type just all business the family vibe is gone. I don't know why the changing of all the original staff, but they need to bring them back and make this place what it was when it first opened. it went from cheers to where everyone knows your name to a run-in mill nothing special. After reading the reviews I had to try the Buffalo Wings, and I have to say, AMAZING!!! The Mozzarella sticks, amazing and the beer had a beautiful head to it and it was nice and cold. Service wise, the bartender was attentive, sweet, and over all a fantastic host for the day. The patio is beautiful, comfortable, and feels like a small private world behind the restaurant itself. I came during the day and it was a great place to eat, and even got some work done with some peace and silence. Inside is beautifully decorated and everything came out not only quickly but fresh and perfectly cooked. I'll no doubt be bringing some friends to this hidden gem in the future. read more

Today really sent me over the edge with joke of a place, I've given it multiple chance and today while in with my boyfriend for lunch I went to the bathroom and there was NO RUNNING WATER... how are the cooks and staff washing their hands??? The newer owner "Pauly" takes half the bartenders tips claiming he's "working" with them (actually just playing pool in the other room) When confronted for it because, hello, that is illegal he said "fuck the law i own this bar" He also claims he's owned many bars before- makes sense why they've all failed. I have been going here for a few months and have to say it has to be the best around here in Peekskill. The wings alone will fill you up. You can tell there not prepared early and dry like most places. There burger is fresh and more the you can handle there so big and full of flavor. Great Relaxing Pub We enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger and Caesar chicken wrap, no beverages (this time). Burger cooked perfectly, not a frozen patty but a beefy burger on a delicious bun. Caesar was dressed with just enough dressing and chicken was crispy not rubbery grilled. Really enjoyed the fries as they were not preseasoned or over salted My elderly mother and I had conversation without having to raise our voice. I just ordered a takeout burger and fries tonight from this neighborhood place. Very good burger, well-seasoned, was more a medium than the medium rare I ordered but that's okay, probably healthier. I would give it 5 stars when it achieves 100% medium rare perfection, instead of just 90%. Fries were good too. I look forward to trying other sandwiches and salads too. So i was in the bar the other day and unfortunately there was a water main break that effected many businesses on the street where PPK is located. Thankfully the bar was well prepared for this event and had plenty of bottled water for drinking and hand washing. Staff was very pleasant. We live just a block and a half from here and saw it while shopping at La Marqueta. The place is basically a sports bar with not only tvs but different games to play. The co owner was very helpful with ordering and gave us some of the "origin story" behind the restaurant. I had the beyond meat burger (for the first time) and it was very good. It had the texture and appearance of real beef and tasted like beef. My wife had the roast beef sandwich which was also good. The french fries were exceptional. I like the way the restaurant area is separated from the bar area, so you can actually hear the person you're with. Sat at the bar after dinner and had a few drinks.
