The burgers here are stellar -- tasty and always cooked to perfection. Service is with a smile and it feels genuine. The vibe is friendly and there's lots of TVs and dartboards and a pool table. The fish & chips and wings weren't quite at the level of the burger so look at the photo below and act accordingly!

Peekskill Public is the BEST! Dana makes happy hour fun and lively, Henry is always welcoming, and Samantha--she deserves 10 stars! Attentive, friendly, and unforgettable, she makes every visit amazing. Delicious bar pizza, unbeatable drinks, and the best crowd in town--don't miss it!

Had the most amazing Friday night solo dinner. I was bored my daughter was going to a football game and I am never one to call ppl I know last minute so decided to take a walk on the wild side and treat myself to dinner and a drink. I'm so glad that I didn't talk myself out of trying this place. At walking everyone was all smiles especially the bartender who I wish I had gotten her name because her martini was one the best I have had in a long time. My server Olivia was so friendly and attentive. She recommended the burger which I passed on because I was in the mood for wings and so glad that's what I ordered. The old bay dry rub wings were cooked to perfection. I forgot to ask for extra crispy no need to panicked they were super crispy and juicy on the inside. My disco fries also were yummy and the gravy was so well seasoned I took some home. The outdoor patio is so beautiful and cozy. Inside is super clean and has an upscale dive bar decor. TV in the bathroom was different and a cute touch. I will definitely be back!

Stopped in here for dinner with the lodge crew and thankfully this place has ample space for maximum social distancing which is a relief. We had a fairly large group of about 8 (we all know each other tho and have been safe, dont worry.) All the food was amazing and they even had a beyond burger, score!! Tots are prime crispy and delish. Everyone else raved about their burgers, pulled pork, chicken etc Drinks were flowing and waitresses were attentive. Food took quite a bit to come out but then again we had a larger group than the norm lately. Prices are very affordable and for the quality of the bar food, its a win win!

Ohhhh this place!!! We went around 2:40 with a party of 10, including 6 kids. Lunch specials run till 3, so we made it in time. The service was excellent. The server wasn't annoyed with us. She was super attentive and gave great recommendations. I had the pasta special. It was ok. But the pizza was sooo good. I wish I would have gotten that instead. My husband had the fish and chips with a Guinness and he enjoyed that! Everyone in our party of 10 was happy. They also have games such as pool table, checkers, darts and like a mini curling game. It was a great place to come after a hike with our group.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Peekskill Public Bar and Grill, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Nestled in the heart of Peekskill, this restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. Upon entering the establishment, I was immediately greeted by friendly and attentive staff members who made me feel welcomed. The interior of the restaurant exudes a modern yet cozy vibe, with its stylish decor, comfortable seating, and a lively bar area. The ambiance strikes a balance between being energetic and relaxed, making it suitable for a casual night out or a gathering with friends. The night I came to visit they had a public section that was lively and entertaining as well as a group night out amongst friends and family occurring on the other side of the establishment. They were playing great music and typical bar games of dart and cornhole. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Peekskill Public Bar and Grill is diverse, featuring a range of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and main courses to cater to different tastes. I opted for their signature bleu burger, and I was blown away by the flavor and quality of the dish. The patty was juicy, perfectly cooked to my liking, and topped with fresh ingredients that added layers of taste and texture. The accompanying Caesar salad was crispy and seasoned just right. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant satisfied. The Buff-a-Que wings was a great starter meal. The wings were a blend of Buffalo and bbq sauces and had great texture and taste. The bar at Peekskill Public is worth mentioning as well. They offer an extensive selection of beers, wines, and cocktails, providing something for everyone. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, creating a welcoming environment for both casual drinkers and connoisseurs. What impressed me most about this restaurant was the exceptional service. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and went out of their way to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. From taking orders promptly to offering recommendations and accommodating special requests, the service was top-notch. In terms of pricing, Peekskill Public Bar and Grill offers great value for the quality of food and service they provide. While it may not be the cheapest option in town, the reasonable prices are justified by the overall dining experience and the attention to detail in every aspect. Peekskill Public Bar and Grill is a fantastic dining establishment that excels in food quality, service, and ambiance. Whether you're looking for a great burger, a refreshing drink, or a lively evening out, this restaurant is worth a visit. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon to try more of their delectable offerings. Follow more of my video food reviews on TikTok at biglee52291 and on at _where_is_seth

To find it, drive up to the top (third) level and it faces away from the street at the end (furthest from where you drive into the third row). It's a great neighborhood pub that happens to have some indoor virtual golf rooms. There's a lot of space and not so many tables in the front section, which get filled up on trivia night. The service was very friendly. I had the ribs special with fries. I was a bit surprised when it came out with only three ribs. They were also pretty small. On the good side, the meat fell off the bone. The rub, if there was one, was not evident. The sauce that came with it tasted like store-bought sauce. Maybe one of the Jack Daniels BBQs. It was thick and very sweet. Fries were standard shoestring that also felt like they were store bought, but they weren't greasy at all. I'll try the wings next time. If they are not on special, they are pretty expensive if you calculate the cost per wing. Decent beer selection. Guinness comes from the can and they use the small 12oz tulip glasses. They do have a small selection on tap. Prices are reasonable, even for the specials, although the serving size is only good enough for a snack for anyone bigger than a 6th grader. Burgers seemed much bigger and plentiful from what I could see. Trivia on Thursdays is fun, although it is corporate trivia, which is not as much fun as personally tailored trivia that you see in some other places. They have lots of numbers questions or facts that no one would ever know because they are too detailed and the host generally does not understand the answers or mispronounces them. Definitely worth a visit if you are local, but don't come hungry if you plan to order a special.

Despite that, our party of four was seated immediately, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was lively and loud because of the games, but not in a bad way. However, we were seated toward the back near the kids' area, and there were children screaming at the top of their lungs. Not the restaurant's fault at all, but definitely something to keep in mind if you're looking for a quieter experience -- this is clearly a very kid-friendly spot. We started with the fried pickles. They were tasty, but the portion was quite small and the presentation was pretty underwhelming. For my main, I ordered the French onion soup and boneless wings. The soup was great, but the wings were just okay -- very dry and lacking flavor. I ordered garlic parmesan, but could barely taste the sauce. The rest of my group ordered burgers and said they were pretty good, and everyone agreed the fries were excellent. They have a large beer selection, and the beer was cold, which is always a plus. They also have games like darts, which would be fun to come back and play. Overall, it's a decent place to watch a game if you're in the area. I won't rush back, but everything was pretty middle-of-the-road -- and to be fair, the place doesn't seem like it's trying to be anything more than that.

After eating there, I can confidently say Doug, your pub makes pretty good food. Our party of four was seated at a high-top, and the feasting began. They've got a great beer selection and took care of us right away. Food-wise, we started with the chicken wings, which were huge and packed with flavor. For me, the main event was the original patty melt. You know when something tastes homemade, but in the absolute best way possible? That was this burger. It was hot, juicy, and dripping with flavor, with perfectly caramelized onions and melted cheese. What really made it work was the bread, it still had a crunch instead of turning soggy. Every dip into the Thousand Island just made it better. The onion rings were a perfect sidekick. Around the table, my brother-in-law went with the Nutty Hog and enjoyed it, my sister liked her quesadilla, and my wife was happy with her chicken. No complaints anywhere. You know how I feel about local spots, and this place was full of charm and character. The drinks were cold, the food was solid, and I'll absolutely be back. 5/5 stars
