This place is always a solid when I want indulgence of good, tasty, savory eats that I know will be superb quality each time. I always go for the truffle chips and bang bang shrimp to start, the chips are SLAMMINNNN and trufflicious af! All the sandwiches I've tried from short rib to vegetarian avocado grilled cheese are all drool worthy and hit the spot when you want cheesy, gooey, salty goodness. Drinks are always on par with rotating beers and cocktails. Dang now I need to plan my next dinner here

What a beautiful place..A Spacious yet cozy environment completely with expose rock, warm wood and a working fireplace in the main dinning room. We sat at the bar for lunch and everything was perfect!! Large "U" shaped bar, flat screens for game time, a long list of craft / specialty beers and cocktails and the food was absolutely Delicious!!! My wife had a beautiful burger and I went with a yummy Chicken Scarp over angel hair pasta..mmm! Oh, and the Fried pickle chips served with ranch dressing..some of the BEST ive had! All the staff are pleasant and professional..the owner Steve (of both locations) was actually our bartender and server and was fantastic!! I've been to many bars / restaurants where the owner is sitting at the bar, watching TV, and barking orders had their employees (sadly). Its great to see an owner who loves his restaurant and is hands on, who treats his staff with respect and love. Anyway, I can't say enough good things..their menu is vast and we can't wait to go again and try another wonderful Culinary experience...So If you find yourself up Route 6, definitely stop is for a cold beer, a nice glass of wine, and a delicious comfort meal..you will thank me. ENJOY!

Very cool space - fireplace was awesome. When you walk in, the smoke smells so inviting. Really lived the set up. Clean as a whistle! Sat quickly. Waited a few minutes for the server. Ordered, waited a few minutes. Seemed like everything was a little slower than it should be. Food was phenomenal! Fries were crispy and delicious. Sandwich was a true steak sandwich and cooked to my liking - medium rare was on point. My real complaint, which is a pet peave, is it took FOREVER for the check to come. Basically had to chase the guy down to pay as I watched him conversation with co workers. Was a major negative, but I will definitely be back - a slow waiter isn't enough to chase me out...

The service was Great!!! Excellent wait staff, and friendly. The food was really great we started off with BbQ flavored wings. Everything was delicious and we are looking forward to coming back and trying the other great options off the menu.

I HAVE TO give The Carriage House a rare 5 stars. regardless that this is a chain restaurant/tavern, it hosts like a privately owned one. The staff are very accommodating from continuing your tab from the bar to the tables to dine. The waitress, think name was Victoria??idk/sorry....., was attentive, non-pushy to make us leave after dining, and friendly. See photos below. The food speaks volumes. Can't wait to come back for the fireplace soon. Their home page is accurately written saying you feel like you are in your friends house hanging out. Going to see their delivery options.

One of my favorites! I always enjoy the pub style fried pickles.

This is a good date night location! I always enjoy the warm vibe and the great food. Whenever I have come here, the food has never, ever disappointed and last night was no exception. Tommy was friendly, attentive server.

I understand shrimp with the shells and heads on, maybe off putting to some, however, I love it! In my culture shrimp with the head on is a delicacy, and I don't mind peeling it myself. They had multiple ready to eat/peeled shrimp dishes for those who prefer that. My daughters (adult daughters) enjoyed the crab legs, sushi, and fried dough. The price was very fair, and the service was phenomenal, especially for a buffet. They were quick and polite when taking our plates. If they continue to have duck and head on shrimp, I'll keep returning. Overall great food, service, and price!

More afraid of what I did not get especially the fish items. The sushi bar and the lobster as well as crawfish were screaming out " eat this and you will be in the emergency room in 20 minutes " All items were overcooked and dried out. The only food with Chinese seasoning was the Roast beef you cut yourself. You had part raw part med rare or well done. I knew it was going to be horrible because it was lime cutting a shoe to get a piece. I was right. Stuffed mushrooms 1/2 were sour 1/3 were buttery and weird. ShuMai awful. Instantly tasted rancid. I spit it in my hand and threw it out the window. Steamed pork bun had a tiny piece of pork meatball ins. It was very dry no flavor ( out the window) Kimchi loaded with sugar Eggplant loaded with sugar we'd loaded with sugar Stuffed mussels load with sugar. Everything was sweet!! Why?? I left the phone in my car if you saw the food you would understand that this place will not remain open very long. The one and only item I would ever go back here for is the Hot and Sour soup. Probably the best within 20 miles. Very authentic. Restaurant is very big very clean. Staff was very odd and unfriendly. But I'm used to that. I loved the front as it's a little marketplace with souvenirs. (0/10) Dear fellow Americans Chinese food is not sweet!!! Kimchi is not Chinese and oysters are not dry and dark ( scary)

This was the best thing for us especially since we were in the area catching up with a few errands. Southeast G's chic, dark grey+black outside design is softened by flowers, the bar area has light wood flooring, large counter off to one side, tables and booths. The space honestly gives out an inviting atmosphere without feeling stuffy. There's also a dining area which faces the reservoir making it perfect for casual events/gatherings. The Tito's Raspberry Tom Collins called me. That sucker started refreshing and its strength soon crept up! My $16 salad with pan seared salmon was fantastic. The dressing was done simply in lemon+oil. Hubs' sliced hanger steak over potatoes, sautéed veggies and drizzled with an demi glace was his winning ticket- and at $20, he enjoyed it to the fullest. Unlike eateries with jacked up prices, this is a terrific all-in-one for us: fantastic prices+strong drink+tasty food. We really couldn't ask for more. These folks take their menu seriously. And by the way- our server Heather, was spot on and pleasant.

Saturday, 11th April 2026 North Salem, NY…read more Sunny 66°F When we heard about Purdy's being one of the very few Westchester restaurants to receive a Michelin plaque for their stewardship of Farm-to-Table cuisine, we knew we had to visit. Blue Hill at Stone Barns (2 Michelin stars) and La Bastide by Andrea Calstier (1 Michelin star) are the only two Westchester County restaurants with Michelin Status. Purdy's rugged farm based surroundings on this clear bright morning were a bit unusual for what one would expect. However, once we entered the landmark old house with its original well appointed ambience of 1775 and beguiling aromas coming from the kitchen, we knew we were in for a treat. Menus were not quite ready (printer problem?) upon arrival to our table. Once we received the menu of the day - we knew what to order, plus we were accompanied by a great friend who happens to be a wonderful chef who knew the place well, and she is quite familiar with what to choose based on the well-mannered upper echelon Westchester locals. Here is what we ordered. Firstly, a bottle of bubbly to celebrate our birthday guests. Followed by ... STARTERS: Clam Chowder Polenta Fries Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail MAINS: Wild Mushroom Bucatini Nova Scotia Halibut Scottish Salmon Everything was delicious and well plated. Our waiter, Sean was warm, friendly and efficient overseeing his assistants who brought out the cuisine, and cleared the table items carefully. We will definitely return. 5 easy stars Thank you!

Well im not a sports fan and it just didn't look like my kinda place...All that said, after continuing to hear great things, we finally popped in and im SO GLAD I did. The inside is exactly as I expected, a Spacious classic sports bar / Pub with a beautiful pool table, dart boards, flat screens and a large centered bar...the bartender Lori is so sweet!! We definitely can tell this place has a lot of regulars..but we felt very welcome sitting at the bar. Now..what we came for..the Food!! It was absolutely Delicious!!! yummy Shepherd's Pie paired with a cold Guinness!! and The Potato skins and tater tots were fantastic. Definitely gonna go back soon to try more things as their menu is vast and everything sounds so good. I definitely see a burger in my furniture. As the owner saw us and realized we are "first timers", she came over to introduce herself and welcomed us..She is so kind and friendly..and told us all about their events and promotions..(ei: live music, trivia, DJs..) now its making sense why this unassuming sports bar Bar is so special and so beloved by the locals. As I alluded to, dont judge a book by its cover..this place is a Gem hidding right in plain sight..Stop in for a nice drink and yummy food while surrounded by warm and friendly people. Enjoy!!
