He also said the espresso martinis were above board and the pizza was de bomb. I checked the reviews on yelp only to find they were meh. I beg to differ people. This place was fabulous! The entrance was ready for Halloween with lots of festive decorations and pumpkins. When you walk inside it's like a pizza persons dream. Every kind of pizza displayed behind the glass counter. I had to wipe off my drool before it ruined my makeup. Loved the wood counters and tables. Very cozy. Plenty of tables in the dining area & a bar to sit at if you prefer. It was packed at 7 PM and we didn't want to wait 20 mins for a table so James sat us by the pizza area. Fine with me!!! James was our server. We loved James!!!! We ordered 2 personal size margherita pizza's (5/5), 1 personal size cheese pizza (5/5), and the Mike & Joe's salad with balsamic dressing (5/5). We shared everything and we still had a doggie bag to bring home. Sooooo good!!! Oh, and the Espresso Martini was amazing. It had the perfect proportions of ingredients and a nice frothy top! We also orders a blood orange margarita, also good. *James personally made our drinks. Thank you James!!!! *Plenty of parking in the lot. *Entrance is in the front facing Route 6 *Full service bar *Sicilian and regular pizza *Full menu *Great families

The food is the star here: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything we ordered was spot-on, from the perfectly cooked pasta to the rich, balanced sauces that actually taste homemade (because they are). Service was attentive without hovering--exactly how it should be. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the experience, not just turning tables. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the quality punches way above what you'd expect for a local spot. If you're in Mahopac and want legit Italian food done right--this is the place. Trattoria Sei just gets it. We'll be back.

We decided to try Trattoria Sei because we are looking to have a graduation dinner for my daughter soon. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and sat down immediately. I was impressed that for a Tuesday evening there were quite a few people eating dinner there. We started with the complimentary focaccia bread and it was delicious (wish we had more lol) Our entrees consisted of Eggplant Parmigiana and Chicken Parmigiana Alla Vodka. Both entrees were incredible! We are an Italian/American family so we know what good sauce/gravy is and we are extremely picky but both sauces exceeded our expectations!! The environment was warm and welcoming and we never felt rushed. We will definitely be back! Next time we will make sure to leave room for dessert, as the dessert menu looked sooo good! If you find yourself in the area do yourself a favor and check it out. The other restaurants around might offer a little more space or nicer views BUT trust me when I tell you, the food won't come close to Trattoria Sei!

Oh Fratello. Ciao ciao. Trio Pizza and its tantalizing temptations. Social Media does do wonders -…read morefestering a fascination... a hankering for some slices I'd only seen not smelt or felt. Had me bury myself in winter attire and trek half an hour or so to see what was what. Oh, don't you worry lads and ladettes. LB found out what is what. Lace up your sneaks and get ready to run with me. I pulled up in the whip, in need of a wash, some wiper fluid, an oil change and an up to date registration. If you ask a mechanic they'd probably say I needed a little more than that - But, they'd probably be lying. Upchargers. Liars. Criminals. Just like the weathermen. Anyways... I park my Fordrari in a decently full parking lot right around restaurant opening. Good sign. If you asked me, but what do I know? Small lot, but relatively decent sized shop - At this particular time they still were attached to Bono Bono (which ofc I finished the meal off with but that's a story for another time... if you're lucky.) I stepped in, a two step with a half nae nae, to the interior in my high top Uggs screamin' Shady til' I die. But my screams stopped upon the sights and sounds of this sliceria. Wowza, McPowza. Geezle Beezle. Good heavens to Betsy. Do these slices look good or what. Straight up on surface play this is banging with the baddest boys in the pizza game. But am I a surface level guy? Maybe... maybe I am. But that's for me and the mirror to work out. Is love blind? I don't know. But without lust - Love is rarely found and even more seldom can love be held for a long period of time without said lust. Anyways... I lusted for this pizza upon first sight. And so will you, for you are as weak as I... maybe even weaker (probably) ((more than likely)) (((you are weaker))). Finally. Brass tax season. Let's get down to it. One of THE BEST GRANDMA I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. Honestly who am I kidding? The best grandma I've had. You could tell the dough quality upon sniff, and first taste backed it up. Superb. Just terrific. A must get. The chicken scarp was a real nice specialty pie. Legit taste, leaving you wanting even more. The vodka Sicilian was solid. The other slices were for my co-attendant who delivered distinguishing praise - And I ought believed him. Will be getting those next time as well. As we were munching down, an Angel sent from the heavens approached us. One of the owners came walking straight out from the oven with a "Thinny Thin" pie of which he was testing out new things with. "You want a slice?" He asked, in more of a proclamation than a question. I may have dropped a tear, and of course accepted a fourth slice because I'm that type of guy. The abs can continue to hibernate as they have been for my entire life. On receipt of said slice, a smile curled on my face as if I was preparing to jestermax but in reality I was just honored that I got framemogged by the jacked up owner. I ate the slice happily - and boy oh boy - that thinny thin is a thing of beauty. A scientific invention, researched and developed into near perfection. Thin, crispy, good sauce, topped off with some shred... well done lads. I could go on all day, and you'd probably love it. Bow down to LB. Top 2 pizzeria in all of Westchester. Johnny's is obviously the other. Trio Pizza is a 5 Star standout without question. That's what's what. Don't dare to question me when I provide an answer. Well worth the drive and I'll do it again - fared well, so not a farewell but a see you soon.

A cozy Italian-American in Mahopac on Route 6, that is worth a trip from anywhere!…read more The review, may sound like hyperbole, but it's not! A friend mentioned it had good food, great prices, and table service and he was going down there, so we all stopped in for lunch. Great decision. The prices are very reasonable! One of the best Italian-American restaurant/pizzerias I've found in years; and I've eaten more than my share of pizza in many countries. Only top quality ingredients are used! We each ordered a different 12" pizza, one for each of us. In hindsight, we could've ordered one pizza that the three of could have shared and would we have been satiated! My significant other ordered a prosciutto and arugula pizza. She had one at Cancino's in Mexico City November 2019 and LOVED it. We've never seen it on another menu here. So, when she saw it on their menu, she ordered it right away! It was perfect! There was about 4 ounces of arugula and the $20 something a pound prosciutto on it. See the photo. No crispy cremated prosciutto chips nor wilted arugula arrived to the table. My friend had the red meat pizza. It looks like about a pound of sausage meat and a whole pepperoni was sliced and put on his pizza. He kept picking pepperoni off his pizza and putting it on ours. What we had looked like a normal pepperoni pizza; there was that much on his! There was a small group who ordered pasta dishes. They looked great also. Yelpers get a 10% discount.
