I took a quick look at the ratings and the food photos and that was enough for us to set the GPS for the Stone House. Entering, we were greeted immediately and made to feel very welcome. The dining room was lively but we had a nice table and soon had water and bread, which came with a delicious sauce of some kind that had vegetables and cheese in it. It was so good they should sell jars of it! We ordered some shrimp cocktail to start (those were some giant shrimp, although it was only three and four would have been a nice even number) and then I had the rib eye for my main. It doesn't come with anything so I ordered fries on the side. That steak was outstanding! The flavor, the texture...everything was amazing. It came out on a sizzling skillet and it tasted as good as it looked. It was also so big that I took half of it home for lunch and if possible, it tasted even better the next day. I was very pleased. The fries were also exceptional and even though the serving was big, I ate them all. I couldn't help myself! Since I took half of my steak home, I decided there was room for dessert and the chocolate mousse didn't disappoint. The food was so good and the service was so warm and friendly, I definitely want to go back to Stone House Grill. If you're nearby, stop in for a meal. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The manager couldn't have been kinder and said it was no problem at all for the separate checks, we just had to sit together by family/check. As far as the cake they normally charge a slicing fee, which is two dollars per slice, but if we ordered three or more desserts, there would be no fee!That alone set the tone for an amazing night.
