Always wanted to go to this place I really like it they have a nice outside and very big and nice inside. The food was phenomenal I enjoyed it immensely unfortunately the service needs to be tweaked waitress spends much standing around in the kitchen waiting for the food and she should be keeping her eyes on the customers And then today I need the check in the kitchen when in a while. Of course this was at the beginning of the opening of restaurants in to Covid so I'm definitely going back giving them a second shot for the service. they do nothave to do anything to the food like I said it was unbelievable enjoyable.

I've wanted to go to Basque so badly for awhile now, and to be honest I still haven't! My wife…read moredoesn't eat seafood, is a picky eater, and they aren't really calibrate for kids meals as far as I can see. The place is pretty, the people are friendly, it's off the main drag of Main St, so hoping to do so soon. For now, need to rave that they are the absolute KINGS of the Tarrytown street fair that happens once a year. I look forward to getting their food every year. They offer chorizo, 2 types of paella (seafood vs meat) and gazpacho. The seafood paella is my go to, and it's the best I've ever had. They do not skimp on the portion or the quality; it had shrimp, calamari, clams, mussels and scallops. It's all top quality and delicious. Price point is downright cheap, especially compared to others who gouge at the street fair (looking at you, PikNik bbq). Chorizo is also good quality, and a cheap meal unto itself. Other options at the Street Fair are good too (ie: Taqueria Poblanita nearby), however I will never stop loading up on the good stuff here.

Food is great! Garlic shrimp, mushroom and fried artichoke…read moreare my favorites. The receptionist told us that we can only have 1.5 hours of eating time as table are reserved for others but waiter told us no problem and just enjoy our dinner. Go early and enjoy it if no reservation.

We…read morethought we could snag a table for the evening at this queue-worthy spot the same day we'd noticed it earlier in the day but timing wasn't on our side. We tried for a next time. The bar is open for walk-ins, greeting from the host/owner(?) was pleasant from the get-go and our server, was also on point the entire evening. For those who believe that sharing is caring when eating out, this might be for you! However, Mirador is one of those places where you look behind the menu and expect more options. This loosely inspired Andalucian spot offers selections way smaller than a typical tapa- but, in so saying, it's much loved for the vibe and menu. Although Mirador has accepted the Andalucian way, the food culture hasn't made its way to the menu and missed the mark on some heavy-duty Spaniard ingredients such as garbanzos, GARLIC, shrimp, etc. And while we're having that conversation, our "sangria" wasn't what we expected and made with tequila ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. We could barely taste the 4 tiny slivers of fluke crudo underneath a big citrusy and icy/foamy cloud topping and the same with the Chanterelles in our croquettes. If you want your customers to leave fast, then serve smaller-than-typical-tapas. The biggest tapa for us was a thinly sliced fennel+green salad in a refreshing dressing. If you want to sop up some bread in shrimp+ garlicky oil- none of the classic tapas are here. On the flip side, you come to Mirador because they do a terrific job of bringing people together over super lite and inventive bites and sips.

A friend had told us about Plancha and never got around it until recently. It's a small place but a solid menu and lots of wine. They were also able to accommodate us with our stroller. Food we got the pan con jamon, garlic shrimp, patatas bravas, shisito peppers and the plancha burger. The sangria was very good. Juicy, not overloaded with BS fruit and just very flavorful. The bread is like a toasted baguette cut into 4 triangles topped with piquillo salsa, arugula and jamon. Pretty good, I was surpised there wasn't pan con tomato but it was still enjoyable. This is a bit more on the acidic side so if you don't like things too tangy - might not be for you. Patatas bravas, classic with aioli and bravas sauce. Shisito peppers blistered, a bit of finishing salt and lemon. Garlic shrimp was cooked well, personally I'd like a bit more garlic in mine and some bread to mop would be nice but still tasty. Plancha burger was definitely our favorite. It's a blend of wagyu sirloin and chorizo, so it's very juicy with a nice smokiness. Very pleasantly surprised and definitely will be back to try some other things.

Besides from that, I do like the hanging lights, and the staff friendliness. However I would definitely recommend working more on the speed of servers than friendliness, I was waiting for someone to take my order for almost half hour!! The outside of the restaurant is also uninviting, it looks almost abandoned when the lights are dimmed, respectfully: the parking lot is filled with potholes, and there's barely any parking. Recommendation: As a professional business reviewer, I would recommend working on how you make cosmopolitans and start serving more interesting drinks, perhaps create your own drink, get those potholes fixed, expand your parking, and add decorations outside. Please improve, this place has potential!

We're a local family that made it a point to come to dinner here at least once a month but our last visit was the last nail in the coffin. The younger waitress has never once smiled and has is always been all business but at least she doesn't bully and antagonize her tables. The chef was gruff, rude, and treated us noticeably different from all of the tables. When he brought out our bottle of wine and I said "yay that looks great!" he paused, gave me a dirty look, and said "you're determined not to have a good time, aren't you?"-- despite this being the first thing I said to him and his waitstaff directly beyond our order. Shocked, and not wanting to ruin the dinner for my dining companion, I brushed it off, but promised myself I would not return. The chef makes it a habit to complain about how busy he is, how understaffed he is, but also how long people take at tables-- and also seemingly makes arbitrary decisions about who and what he takes offense to. If the chef stays in the kitchen and gets waitstaff that understand what providing good customer service for -everyone- looks like, we'll be back, but at this rate and reading other reviews it looks like pigs will fly before that happens!

The owner runs the front of house while his wife cooks in the kitchen, and together they create an experience that feels personal, warm, and authentically Spanish. The food was phenomenal. We shared a mixed cheese and meat board to start. Then came the ham croquetas (the flavor changes daily, and we lucked out with my favorite), mini albóndigas (tender beef meatballs in tomato sauce) and champiñones (mushrooms in a rich brandy sauce). Every dish was flavorful and felt homemade. For dessert, we had the Torta de Santiago (almond cake), which was the special of the day -- light, nutty, and the perfect finish. The service was amazing. If you're looking for authentic Spanish tapas, this place is a must-try.
