Cute tea cups

Food was all overcooked. The eggs were supposed to be over medium, and they were cooked all the way through. The bacon was tough and chewy. All very bland. Not for me.

Solid breakfast fare, very Irish Came to this location because there was a ton of Irish restaurants in the area and this one offered a bunch of breakfast fare. Came in as soon as they opened, and the place was very quiet. They are decked out to be a quaint tea shop with all the grocery items of local migrants or travelers trying to recapture their home. Staff were friendly and helped me navigate the menu boards. One of my bucket list items was having a full English breakfast and this was a full Irish breakfast. Didn't know there was a difference, so I opted for the full Irish breakfast experience. Also got a pot of tea and a plain scone to nibble on. Tea and scone came out first. Scone was dry, slightly sweet, and a little crumbly. The sweet cream helped a lot, along with the jam. Probably would've enjoyed it more a little warmed up, but it was a true scone and not a muffin outside of a tin. I'm not a fan of tea, but they offer a full Irish tea service so I had to try the tea. It was regular tea, needed milk and Splenda to be drinkable. But I can say the same for coffee, so although not my taste it was decent enough. The full Irish breakfast was good but some misses. The potatoes were boiled and lightly coated in seasoned salt. Very much a filler, no real prep beyond cooking and serving. The eggs were cooked well, the sausages were meaty and not overly greasy. The brown bread was tasty with a healthy smear of Irish butter. Needed to be warmed up or toasted though. Ham was tough, the beans were sweet but the right texture. The black and white pudding were tasty but not to my texture preference (too mushy) Overall, a pretty solid breakfast. It's not my flavor profiles, and there were some items that needed a touch more care. But as a breakfast spot, it dons its namesake well.

Amazing restaurant- came for St Patrick's Day corned beef and cabbage my brother had pot pie and beef barley soup and sister in law had a traditional Irish breakfast all were delicious. After talking to the owner she brought a sampling of their pastries They have the Best Scones I've ever had-fresh light soft and tasty- highly recommend this place- when you enter go to the counter order what you want then sit and wait for them to serve you. Everything was original, homemade and delicious lovely decor and staff

Another fabulous meal at the Gracie Rose. The staff are warm and welcoming, and all of the food is fresh and delicious. Traditional Irish foods and goodies as well as a variety of other options.

Had a delicious Irish Breakfast. That, along with some Irish Breakfast tea just made my day

Bella- Beautiful friend, tea for two

This adorable cafe is a hidden (and new) gem. The décor is super cute. I love the mismatched tea pots & cups. You must order from the counter and they will bring you your order when it's ready. We each had the vegetarian egg platter with whole wheat toast and shared a "tea for two". It was very tasty. Since it was a birthday celebration so we ended with a Nutella crape with bananas. This was more pancake than crape... but how can you go wrong with Nutella anything.

Such a cute breakfast spot!! (Very Instagramable!) There aren't too many adorable breakfast restaurants in the area, so this is truly a gem! The food is so fresh and delicious. The decor is gorgeous and the service is excellent! I loved my breakfast burrito and my mom loved "the American."

Love to see these great family spots still around. I have never met nicer staff members. They were making all sorts of suggestions about what to get. The white chocolate scones were delicious and the rhubarb pie was lovely. I got a slice of it instead of the whole pie. They have other packaged snacks in here too. This is as authentic as you can get!

This past weekend, we had a chance to experience something a little different -- a private event my cousin hosted there for his 30th birthday -- and it was fantastic. The event was a seated, sit-down dinner at the market, which isn't something they typically do, but they executed it really well. The evening started with passed appetizers (all delicious, as expected) and a table full of charcuterie. For dinner, my cousin opted for a seated "steak sampling" experience -- almost Brazilian steakhouse-style -- featuring tastings of five different cuts. There was also shrimp scampi served family-style, along with sides like roasted potatoes. Even with varying preferences for steak doneness across the group, they did an impressive job accommodating everyone. Huge props to the B&M team for pulling off something outside their usual offerings so seamlessly. This was my first time in the market itself, and it looked great -- clearly a great destination for quality meats and prepared foods. If I lived closer, I'd absolutely be a regular and would use them for catering for myself. Looking forward to more events with their food in the future!

Exceptional Catering for Our Dinner!…read more I recently used B&M Market in Park Ridge to cater a Dinner for 10, and I can confidently say they overdelivered on every level. From the ordering process to the presentation to the flavors, everything was absolutely top-notch. I also have to give a huge shoutout to the owner, Jon, who was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. Jon took the time to help me build out the perfect menu, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. His responsiveness and attention to detail really set B&M apart, you can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in the food his team puts out. We kicked off the night with a fantastic spread of hors d'oeuvres. The sushi platter was fresh and beautifully presented, and the homemade guacamole with warm, crispy tortilla chips was a standout. The apple smoked bacon in honey chipotle sauce disappeared almost instantly; smoky, sweet, and addictive. The spinach & artichoke puffs were flaky and flavorful, and the bacon-wrapped shrimp tasted like something you'd get at a high-end restaurant. For entrees, everything arrived well-seasoned, and perfectly portioned along with serving/heating instructions. The Bell & Evans chicken parmesan in vodka sauce was a crowd favorite, tender, not overly breaded, and the sauce was rich without being heavy. The prime all-natural skirt steak with scallion sauce was the star. Cooked beautifully and packed with flavor. The pasta dishes, 4-cheese baked ziti and the orecchiette with Italian sausage, spinach, and light red sauce, were both excellent and tasted homemade. The Caesar salad, steamed string beans, and cheesy garlic bread rounded out the meal perfectly. Dessert was a refreshing fresh fruit salad, which was a great balance after the hearty main courses. What impressed me most was the consistency. Every single item was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Combined with Jon's personal involvement and guidance, the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. If you're hosting an event of any size, B&M Market should be at the top of your list. They helped make our dinner a hit, and I'll absolutely be using them again.

Clouds of dirty dust. Clouds of smoke from neighboring industrial corporations. As well of clouds smoke from the hand rolled cigs I was famed for downtown. I knew wool so well that I could've taught it in school. But school I did not attend. I wove like a weaver and knitted like a knotter. But I let the younger workers do so. Delegation without legislation. The only reason I left the gig was from the fondness my heart grew for a more than ordinate subordinate. A Romeo and Juliet situation. I was 10 she was 6. But a mature 6. Or so I told myself. I barked at her esteemed colleagues to impress you but all it did was leave an impression. An impression of me being a haunting splinter of a man. A manchild, they called me... in none of the good ways. But they didn't know what I knew. What I saw. What id been through. That was my fourth crew since I had begun. The death tolls from the snapping of brittle belt bands took down double digit of my previous staffs. And they were next. I couldn't be around for her inevitable death. And I was making a nickel a day to keep my potty mouth filled with soap, and to learn to cope. And therefore I knew I had to disappear. I skipped on my blistered toes onto the nearest rail train. Blowing awayyyy blowing awayyyy. But not blowing me away. And therefore, in my primitive process, disappointing me in some capacity. Fair? Maybe not. But should I have been working in a mill as a manager at age 10? Maybe not either. Solid spot but just way better options around now. Only kicker here is the AMAZING price per capita. Terrific square footage. Price per acre of a Midwest farm, with some of the charm. Give my regards to broadway, I'd have this again if it were catered but I'm taking my busty business elsewhere if it's on LB's dime.

On this visit we grabbed some things for a picnic: Casa Del Sole hoagie-loaded and delicious, beef and cheddar wrap with horseradish, the fresh mozzarella hoagie, and the roasted artichoke salad. Everything was delicious! We sampled a small portion of the spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce/gravy was amazing and something I'd go back to purchase. All the sandwiches are made fresh so it will take a few minutes, but worth the wait. We will definitely return!
