First time eating in and the place was packed around noon on Sunday, good sign! The workers were extremely attentive and prompt. Took my name and in about 15 minutes we were seated. We ordered a chicken quesidilla, new yorker burger, pancakes, omelete, a breakfast platter and they were all excellent!! Definitely will be back! Still the best. Not a real diner. More like a cafe but with a full menu. New owners (Latinas) are running it as well as when Mr. Hogan was there. He and the fam have gone to Florida! I had to ask myself, "Self, how have you never had breakfast here?" Service was great and despite the crowd we were able to be seated promptly. I had the blueberry blintz dish for breakfast. I don't get the opportunity to indulge in blueberry blintz often but it was delicious. My friend had a spinach omelet with home fries and they knocked it out the park. Came here for lunch after visiting friends at the Army/National Guard Armory. It was a cute little diner. I didn't expect it to be so busy in there. The parking lot was pretty empty. We walked in, and it was so festive, the employees were swamped, yet they were so friendly and accomodating. We sat down after waiting a quick couple minutes. We ordered, and since it was a little busy, ee got our food at a considerable time. We didn't wait too long. My table ordered: - Scrambed eggs with pancakes, sausage links, home fries and wheat toast. This was good. Nothing like any other diner would have. - plain bagel toasted with creamcheese and tomato with bacon on the side. This was good as well - rosmary chicken panini. This was bland, and didnt even look like it went through a panini at all. Bread was thick, chicken wasn't seasoned at all. I was really hungry so I ate it. The portion for this meal was very generous. I would like to come back to try other things. I gave it 4 stars because the servers were attentive, quick, efficient and very friendly. We were coming back from a soccer tournament up in Rockland County NY and needed a place to eat. We found Hogan's diner in a store strip which is unlikely for a diner and so glad we picked this diner. The staff was professional, accommodating, and the food was terrific! My boys had eggs, pancakes and toast and nothing was left behind. I ordered one of the best French Onion soups Ive ever had and it hit the spot as I was still thawing out from the cold weather being on the fields al day. I also added a fantastic pizza burger to my order. The service didn't stop there as we live about 65 miles away and my son forgot his new team beanie hat in the booth. I called them when I got home and they was happy to find the hat and ship it back to me. Thank you Hogan's and Heidy for great food and over the top service. Really cute little diner close to home. I love it here! Been here about 4 times now and each time has been a pleasant experience . Waitstaff are really friendly attentive and accommodating. I personally only order grilled cheese with home fries, but my SO had ordered Both steak and salmon which can sometimes be questionable ordering at a diner. But not this diner, they serve quality meat and cook it nicely. I love the little bread basket they give you before your meal. Definitely recommend!!! read more

Most friendliest service EVER!!! Food was straight forward, fresh delicious home cooked food. Nothing pretentious or overdone like all these places trying to add fusion to they're menus. The place is immaculate and service wise everyone who works there watches all the tables . So you never have to look for your waiter cause if they're busy all the other staff is looking to help each others guest. Only places I've experienced this at is high end restaurants and "Houston's" . This is a great place to become a regular in. They also modify what's ever on the menu to your liking. Because of this I've become a regular to watch what i eat. Especially since I try and eat clean. This place is probably one of the best recommendations I could make for a very enjoyable meal that's not overpriced and outstanding service. read more

Update from my last review- June 20, 2019 Are they kidding me $5.65 1 soft boiled egg and 1 slice of toast, I refused the home fries. I should have checked the menu first before ordering. For $6.95, I could have gotten 2 eggs and toast etc; However, The price for 1 egg is crazy, I could have purchased a dozen eggs for the cost of one. Last time I order 1 egg here and, next time I will check the menu for prices. Old review: 5 STARS Came here for coffee and sat at the counter that has plenty of seating and I love the fact the the seats have backs to them and are padded. There is plenty of tables with booths along each side. The service is quick and staff friendly. This place is "very clean" inside, floors are shinny and buffed.
