Our friends from Congers took us here for brunch one day, and it was delicious. So now we drive from New City when we are looking for a wonderful breakfast or lunch. We like to sit out on the deck. Absolutely LOVE this diner. We were in town for a wedding, but stopped here for breakfast. Extremely warm and friendly service, plenty of hot coffee with frequent top offs, great food(large portions!) and clean environment. I could tell the staff were busy on a Saturday morning but they were ON IT- extremely attentive to everyone and the result was expedient, thoughtful service that you can't help but feel happy! will be back!! read more

BIG FAN! Been there on and off for years. Usually go for late breakfast. They offer the usual fare and it's all served quick, no fuss, and a good value. They'll even make some substitutions all with a smile. Lunch is equally as good and they offer some healthier choices as well. Service is great and we see the same staff there year on year. We don't consider ourselves "local" but I suppose we are. The place is someone unassuming it sits back in a strip center. It's comfy, casual, and we like it. read more

Decided to give this place another shot. Went in and placed an order to go. Nothing to complicated, one of their breakfast specials with toast and a pizza burger. Food was made fast but I noticed that when they charged me, the prices did not reflect their menu prices. Seems like the establishment is too cheap to update their menus, and instead charge new increased prices! What kind of business practice is that! Got home and found the waitress forgot to include some of the food. I had to drive all the way back and grab them. While she was apologetic, it was not busy in the restaurant that afternoon. No reason to forgot something so simple. The food was subpar. They didn't seem to really care how they packaged the food, it was obviously just thrown in without a care. My pizza burger wasn't that great. Pretty bland. Fries were good, but I can get good fries at McDonalds too. With the waitress forgetting things and with the scummy business practice of the Cornerstone, I honestly don't think I could recommend this place to anyone or will be back. read more

One of our go to diners when we want something to eat. You walk in and sit where you want (it's been expanded so no more waiting!!) Food is delicious and brought to you promptly. This is a great place to bring family and friends. Food was very good. The girl who waited us was very courteous, and gave us options when we ordered that were not on the menu, yet available. They have breakfast all day which is great. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is due to in my opinion, their not so good coffee. I didn't order any special coffee, I had their regular one. I regularly drink my coffee with no sugar, no milk and I had to put sugar and cream during my visit since I have had no coffee yet that day. Other than that. I will be coming back to this place many more times. Next time I'll try a non regular coffee to see if there's a difference! read more

This is my favorite breakfast/lunch spot on the weekends. Sometimes during the week (they deliver after 10am). The food is always great and the people that work here are AMAZINGGGG! Came here for Mother's Day breakfast. We were seated right away and served very quickly. My husband and son had the omelets which looked good and I had a vegetable Panini. Our server, Kristen, was so great and kind. I would come back just because of her. We all enjoyed our time here and will be back again soon. read more

This was a difficult rating. Do I give it a 4 or a 5? The service was good. My waitress (I think her name was Jean) was quick polite funny and had a great smile. Definitely felt comfortable and right at home within 2 seconds. She was really quite charming. The food was definitely great but was it the best ever? This was going to be a tough call. My sausage was delicious, my bacon, crispy. My hash browns were crispy and crunchy yet chewy and and heavy on the yummy. My omelet (3 meat combo) with American cheese was quite good. In fact so good that I didn't use ketchup. So back to one of life's most profound questions. A 4 or a 5? Very good or Amazing? That's when I met her. Miss pancake. Now she wasn't much to look at on the outside. Standard build and coloring sitting on my plate. Not drawing much attention to herself. A humble comrade to her friends that I had consumed but when my lips touched hers it was electric. Probably the best damn pancake I ever ate. Fluffy yet a slight crunch but it was the flavor that did me in. There was something in the pancake. Was it magic? Crack? I don't know but it was wonderful and I will be back. So yes. Yes indeed. Since Rosie's closed we had a hard time finding a Sunday spot. Finally we have found it. The restaurant is cozy with really nice patrons and staff! We love everything! Ordered over-easy eggs and corn beef hash with hash browns. Only complaint is the eggs were too small. I like big flowing egg yolks, and these eggs were not bringing it.
