I took a quick look at the ratings and the food photos and that was enough for us to set the GPS for the Stone House. Entering, we were greeted immediately and made to feel very welcome. The dining room was lively but we had a nice table and soon had water and bread, which came with a delicious sauce of some kind that had vegetables and cheese in it. It was so good they should sell jars of it! We ordered some shrimp cocktail to start (those were some giant shrimp, although it was only three and four would have been a nice even number) and then I had the rib eye for my main. It doesn't come with anything so I ordered fries on the side. That steak was outstanding! The flavor, the texture...everything was amazing. It came out on a sizzling skillet and it tasted as good as it looked. It was also so big that I took half of it home for lunch and if possible, it tasted even better the next day. I was very pleased. The fries were also exceptional and even though the serving was big, I ate them all. I couldn't help myself! Since I took half of my steak home, I decided there was room for dessert and the chocolate mousse didn't disappoint. The food was so good and the service was so warm and friendly, I definitely want to go back to Stone House Grill. If you're nearby, stop in for a meal. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. This place truly sets the standard for what an Italian restaurant should be. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. They even brought out complimentary bruschetta to start, which was fresh, flavorful, and a perfect introduction to the meal. For our entrees, we had the chicken Francese and the chicken scarpariello--both were outstanding. The chicken Francese was perfectly tender with a bright, lemony sauce that wasn't too heavy, and the chicken scarpariello had just the right balance of savory, tangy, and a little kick. You can tell everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. What really made the night special, though, was the owner. He went out of his way to check on us, make conversation, and ensure everything was perfect. That kind of personal touch is rare and made us feel like more than just customers. This place is a must go!!! Husband and wife owned; they make you feel at home. The husband is the chef from Southern Italy, and he brings Italy into his kitchen. From appetizer to dessert the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. They offer a very nice selection of wines by the bottle and by the glass. The pasta dishes are made fresh daily. The simple Villaggio Salad is excellent as well as the beets appetizer. Wine good. We have been there a few times and always enjoy. Father in law is native Italian and very difficult to please when it comes to eating Italian food in the states.
