Pork chop yum.

Good food, nice atmosphere. The first table. They wanted to seat us at was right in the middle of everything just no, but they were able to accommodate us and put us in their other room which had a very cool vibe to it. I would rearrange the table set up and not try and squeeze people in into the space together. Other than that, the food was excellent. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was very nice. Love the location right next to the train station really enjoyed a great calamari. Good stuff will definitely go again.

Shaved Cauliflower and Crispy Brussels Sprouts

Loved it! Met a work colleague for dinner and we shared a couple of appetizers and the mushroom pizza. The cauliflower rocked my world with the right amount of crunch, savory notes and sweetness. The cashews brought even more nutty fabulousness to my oh-so-hangry palette. The Brussels sprouts? Fabulous. Tangy, crispy sprout perfection with some pistachio nuts thrown in for good measure. The pizza was also perfect! REALLY tasted the mushrooms...plus the dough/crust was full of flavor. Staff is excellent-attentive and efficient. Loved the vibe and decor; the building was formerly a train station. If I lived nearby, I'd be a regular.

This really hurts me to do. As you can see below, I really used to LOVE this place. I have very rarely changed a review..but times change and not always for the better..and a 5 star review is not guaranteed for life..especially when they lost their best employee. So we went in today, were completely ignored by the owner. (was talking to someone about renting the private room, fair enough..not a multitasker) Sat ourselves and ordered lunch and wine. The Bartender who took over for Jonathan is nice. Food was ok ..Definitely fell off some since my original review. Maybe I'm needy or whatever..but my thing is this, if I owned a Restaurant and there were literally only 2 people in the entire place, before ordering myself a pizza and taking it upstairs to my office to eat, I'd at least greet my only 2 costumers, maybe ask them how their meal was??.maybe I'm being extra...or maybe there is a reason why we where the only 2 people there for all of lunch service...Anyway, we drive down from Putnam to eat here ( used to Anyway ) too many good Italian spots a lot closer to us to waste the time. Im not saying you need to recognize me from my 5 star review or from the 15-20 times that ive been in there since, but a smile or a hello goes a long way with people spending good money to dine out. Good luck to the owner..hope your pizza was good.

The service was great and so was the food! Also the sangria was tasty! I enjoyed the Brussels sprouts the best! The pasta I forgot the name of but it was huge! Yummy!

Fat Chicken Pizza

This restaurant has a great atmosphere, being inside the old MTA-Rail station, and great decor. Sitting at a high booth looking out over the small park across the street was nice. The booths were comfortable too! More importantly, the pizza was incredible! The fat chicken pizza was loaded with flavor and d the crust was delicious! Baked in what looked like a wood-fired brick oven, it had the perfect level of heat leaving a soft crust that wasn't overdone or charred. The dough was so good I ate the crust my kids did t eat but the cheese was the real winner here. The combination of dough, chicken sausage, scallions, and most importantly, the fior di latte cheese (cows milk mozzarella), was perfect!! Hope to stop through here again sometime to try the rest of their menu! On service: our server, Jonathan, was as great as the good! Prompt service, topped off drinks, food was brought out quickly, and all of it was done with a friendly demeanor.

The best crispy bread! Went well with both dishes for dunking

Omg, came in hungry and left full. The dishes were insane and the bread to die for. The sauce on the chicken was ridiculously insane! Spread the roasted garlic on the bread and soak up the sauce....Need I say more! We ate at the bar and had great service from Kelly the bartender!

Another great dinner here! Tried the brussels sprout salad, wow! That was spectacular. Baked clams were good, and clam pizza was outrageous as usual!

Wine and free Prosecco

We went here on a whim because we have tried everywhere else in the area. Our report - delicious. We enjoyed the fried calamari and the ricotta stuffed squash blossoms. We also ordered extremely affordable red wine that was super delicious. I am picky about my red wine and somehow they nailed what I described to them. We also enjoyed their pasta, which was a combination of penne à la vodka and meat sauce. Some Italian restaurants I go to, it seems like I can make the dish - this pasta was absolutely unique, and I could not have created it at home. When we told the owner we were getting married in Italy, he brought us all over a Prosecco toast on the house. This place is fantastic and strongly recommend. We also had a friend leave directly from dinner to Grand Central and it was super convenient.

At Locali Pizza Bar & Kitchen, you can enjoy more than just pizza. You can also savor a slice of history. The restaurant is located in the historic Mount Kisco train station, a charming brick building that dates back to 1890. The owners have preserved much of its original character, from the arched windows to the wooden beams. The décor is cozy and rustic, with vintage posters and lanterns adding a touch of nostalgia. That said, the menu is modern and inventive, featuring wood-fired pizzas with toppings like fig jam, goat cheese and prosciutto; salads with kale, quinoa and roasted beets; and pastas with lamb ragu, ricotta gnocchi and truffle oil. The ingredients are fresh and local, sourced from nearby farms and markets.

Came for Saturday lunch for two. There were plenty of tables and it's right outside the MNR. The decor is pretty. Servers were nice. The portions are big. I enjoyed the bolognese. The pasta seemed homemade and I enjoyed the sauce.

Much better in person than our last delivery experience…read more I came here on a very hot day in mid May with my parents and GF. They have a fair amount of things my very picky mother was interested in which earned them our patronage on this particular evening. They had indoor and outdoor seating with an upstairs and a downstairs. We were seated downstairs. Service was great. Didn't have to wait long for anything. They have a vegetarian section of the menu which I appreciated. I was intrigued by the spaghetti squash and almost went with that but it's hard for me to go to an Italian restaurant and not order pasta so I ultimately went with the reginette ortolana, got some giggles from the crowd with my attempt at pronunciation of that dish. I also ordered the brussels sprouts side. They have multiple cocktails I was interested in but being the basic bitch that I am, I ultimately went with the spicy italian margarita. I order the "spicy margarita" frequently and it usually isn't very spicy but this one was the exception. It definitely earned the title. Nothing crazy, but certainly something you would notice and it was very enjoyable. The pasta was very good. I was bummed out to see the mushrooms in there because that was not mentioned on the menu but fortunately I had a few mushroom vacuums sitting at the table. The veggies were plentiful, the sauce was very good. I am looking forward to leftovers for lunch today. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal. They also provide bread with hummus to start and the fucking table bread is a lost art, as I always say, so extra points for that. For dessert, they had a PB&J cocktail with pb whiskey and chambord and this was literally orgasmic. What a good idea. I would definitely come back to try some other stuff.

This place really exceeded our expectations in every way…read more My sister and I stopped in on a chilly, overcast afternoon after dropping our mom off at Westchester Airport. Stone Fire was conveniently on the way home and we decided to give it a try. Appropriately, we walked in and the definition of "Hangry" was framed on the wall. We laughed and were greeted by who we presume is the owner. He said he would fix our "hanger" in no time and lead us to our table. The place wasn't very full, since we were there between the dinner and lunch rushes. The owner was incredibly attentive but didn't hover. We got the sense that he was proud of his menu and he explained some of the stand out items. He noted that all the pasta was made in house and that the "panuozzo" (which we intend to try next time) was made with their pizza dough. We both ordered the Shrimp Bisque to start. It was delicious and piping hot with a good amount of actual pieces of shrimp. I turned to ask for some black pepper, and realized the owner already had a large pepper mill in his hand, as if he had read our minds. Our server also brought out warm bread. Naturally, my sister ordered the Maccheroni Ala Vodka since the owner had mentioned the fresh pasta. It was cooked to a perfect al dente and was generously portioned. I decided to get their "Amalfi" stone fire pizza which included fior di latte cheese, prosciutto, summer squash, and delightful little piped dollops of lemon ricotta. The flavors were bright and delicous. The pizza dough itself was crispy, chewy, and lightly charred from the pizza oven. I would absolutely order it again if I wasn't eager to try so many other items on the menu. My sister and I both had enough leftover from our main meals to take them home for dinner. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and contemporary. Nicer than your typical pizza place. They have a sizeable patio and what looked like windows that open up like panels in the inside dining area, I guess when the weather permits it. We both agreed it would be nice to come back on a warmer day. All in all, we have absolutely no complaints about our meal. For two large bowls of shrimp bisque, the pasta dish, and my pizza (a little larger than a personal pan pizza size), and two sparkling waters, our lunch was around $100. Super reasonable in my opinion. Given the excellent food and superb service from both the owner and our waiter. We absolutely plan to come back when we are in the area. I guess our "hanger" was a blessing in disguise that day.
