Sauce was not what I was expecting, not orange or flavorful. Corn was an odd choice in the fried rice. First the good- the good was good, not the best Thai I've ever had but still fine for takeout. Our server was great - I felt a little bad for him he seemed like a fish out of water, kind of expected to do everything and the woman who I assume is the owner is a little gruff with him. The not to great: the place is really not clean and I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. The prices are really high when this is essentially a Thai take out joint. There are enough options for Thai that I don't think I'll be coming back- we didn't have a bad experience per se, it just wasn't great for the price, and the cleanliness is too lacking for my tastes. read more

The owner was so nice it was hard for me to leave a review but... unfortunately she is struggling like ever small restaurant is with not being able to get the right help. First. I am a really good tipper. Usually leaving 25 or 30 percent and always leave it in cash. We were a party of 4 with a baby. They went ahead and added a service charge of 20 percent (on total including tax). Super inappropriate and annoying. The place and dinnerware were not clean. The food was good, but not great. The pad Thai was very unusual oily and sweet. The Thai iced tea was off. The Satay and Shrimp curry were very good. Mistakes happen but the way they are handled make the difference between someone leaving a 1 star review or something much better. Placed order online for pickup on my way home from a long trip. When I finally arrived home, the order was wrong. I called the restaurant and they offered to remake it but I was too far away for that to be practical so she said "just call them to cancel." They use menupages which is now owned by grub hub so I didn't have the order number grub hub needed to cancel it. I called the restaurant assuming they'd have it and the lady was very rude, complaining that I was making her look in the garbage for the order and then rudely hung up on me. Lady, I'm sorry but if you had simply read the order in the first place and made the order correctly, I wouldn't be bothering you and this wasn't some complicated order that could easily be messed up, this was shrimp instead of chicken when the order clearly said chicken, which she even acknowledged. read more

This is our go-to place for fresh and delicious Thai food! The owner makes everything in-house - no frozen or prepared foods here! She is also happy and willing to accommodate vegan and vegetarian requests. My personal favorite is always the Eggplant Basil with Chicken - just the right touch of spice with tons of fresh eggplant. Crooked thief of an owner on top of low quality food. Sat down for dinner. Fresh rolls were ok. Curry chicken (yellow) was heavy handed and a little sour. Pad Thai w pork was thick and vinegar tasting. Food barely edible. Bill comes and it's $57.20. Kid who works there tells us they discount 8% for cash. Decided to use my credit card and forgo the discount. Bill comes and the charged amount was $59.00. I showed the kid the error and he says their credit card machine adds some for credit cards. I argued with the owner. She basically dismissed me. She's a thief, double dipping. 8% discount to not use a credit card, 3% more if you use one. What exactly is the number on the bill? Avoid this restaurant like the plague or risk getting the plague and stolen from. Nasty crooked owner + bad food = bad review. read more

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Westchester. It may take a bit for your order, but it's well worth the wait. It's a family-run business with authentic Thai-style cuisine. The spot is Zagat rated and usually lives up to that rating. It has a cozy yet traditional ambiance. My partner and I always feel like we are being transported to a small village in Thailand while dining here. I've noticed many Thai restaurants are on the colder side, but that may be my personal experience. Regardless, I recommend going when the weather is nice. read more

I hate to leave a poor review but I have ordered for the last time. I am unsure if the management has changed but the quality sure has. Once again, the order was incorrect. I asked for crispy duck with the tamarind sauce on the side but what I received was mushy duck and vegetables swimming in an awful brown sauce with canned pineapple. The taste was so terrible that I threw the meal in the trash. The mango salad was equally terrible so that joined the other meal in the trash. I paid with cash yet I was charged a $2.00 service charge. Needless to say, Thai Angels has lost a few more customers. read more

Love this place! The food is great, and the owner is always so sweet. Whether I'm dining in or taking out, she always makes me feel welcome. This is my go-to place for Thai food. Unfortunately, I need to rate Thai Angels at 2 to 3 stars due to our disappointment on Friday night. It may be that they were breaking in a new chef who didn't know how to cook Thai food. It may be that they had limited experience staff, but the sad thing is, this is one of my favorite restaurants it fell short of giving us 2 decent meals.. my red curry fell short of it's usual delicious quality from as we were ordered regularly during the pandemic..the vegetables were few- limp pea pods, the chicken sparse. While flavor was good, but I ended up eating it because I was starving while my husband waited a half hour for his sesame chicken..if you wanna call it that. There were five pieces of limp overly saucy, soy, based overcooked broccoli with extremely dried out, inedible sesame" chicken. We left after paying for my meal, complained to the waiter and waitress. The lovely owner/manager was busy trying to hold things together on what I guess was a terrible dinner time for Thai angels... My hope is this was an anomaly, and it isn't going to be the beginning of the downfall of this great restaurant ...this was always one of our favorite Mount Kisco restaurants ..something was radically wrong this Friday night and we hope that they will make a come back. We were not the only customers that night that were extremely disappointed in the service and the quality! Please address these issues, Thai Angels, and get back to what you always were worthy of these wonderful reviews! read more

Ordered through GrubHub tonight. Sorely disappointed and underwhelmed. Little Thai Kitchen or Thai Elephant will remain the best Thai in the area. Crab Rangoons- not that great. Barely any cream cheese, too much of that fake crab. Dipping sauce wasn't bad. Summer Rolls- Honestly it's really hard to screw these up. The peanut hoisin sauce was too thick and needed a spicy component to round it out. Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken- IT HAD NO PINEAPPLE! This is one of our favorite things to get so I actually called and complained, and was met with arguments from the woman working there saying that they did put pineapple in it, but only "5-6 small pieces". WTF!? You don't argue with customers. Also it was riddled with chunks of peppercorn which is totally offputting. Basil beef- great heat to it, but ultimately I've had better. Perhaps it is my fault for trusting any establishment. However, when I tell the server that my toddler is allergic to peanuts and eggs, I expect no peanuts or eggs. Instead, I received noodles with eggs that were picked out but a few pieces were left along with a dusting of peanuts. It would have been fine if there were eggs or peanuts. Mistakes happen. The fact that they tried to hide and cover up their mistake instead of making a new dish is despicable. All I got was a monotone apology and that is it. We had an urge for Thai food and this was the closest place. It was unexpectedly good. I love spicy and the Tom yum with pork did not disappoint. I asked for it spicy and it got my nose running - perfect. I was told that the Pho is very good and genuine and hope to try that next time. Really hoping to return soon and try some other dishes. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES! We have ordered from here and eaten in several times. The food tastes good but the place is not very clean. I can overlook a lot, but not when you get my order wrong so many times that you could make my family seriously sick. The last straw was when I picked up delivery, double checked with the server that the food contained no allergens, and left. Upon arriving home it very clearly contained allergens. When I called to ask the person I was told that yes, there were allergens and I could bring it back for a new order. No apology. I explained that I lived half hour away and could not come back and asked instead for a refund. The person was appalled and screamed to a someone in the back "they want a free meal!" Um no, I'd like our family to be able to eat a meal we paid for without getting sick. So they offered to pick it up. Sure, come pick it up. And please apologize for potentially harming a customer in the meantime. I feel like a jerk writing a bad review but I feel obligated to alert others who could get seriously ill if they eat at a place that does not take allergies or food restrictions seriously. Terrible experience. Ordered through the website for pickup, waited 35 minutes, showed up to the restaurant and was told that they didn't have my order. I was charged immediately when I ordered but apparently the online ordering isn't connected to their system. They then told me it would be 5 minutes while they made my food. 20 minutes later I was handed my bag and told quite rudely to take my food and go. To top it off, when I got home and started to eat my food, I discovered that they didn't include the chicken in my dish. I ordered this place for delivery. One of the few places that I know that delivers in Mount Kisco. Summer roll with shrimp was a downer. The wrap was too thick, and it was just not moist. It was dry. basil fried rice with beef - overcooked mushy rice, but it was the most flavorful of the rest of the dishes. Chicken pad thai - utter failure. The noodles were cold and stuck together. It needed citrus action and some more bite. Worst dish of the night. scallops pad kee mew. The broad noodles dish was okay. I mean the pad thai was just bad. The scallops were small, but flavorful. They were cut up into bite sizes. My gf ate most of this dish so I can't really describe it all. All of the foods were grease overload. We had the ill food coma aftewards. In addition, the delivery was estimated to be 30 minutes, and it came ~1 hour after i placed the order. Doubt i'll be eating from here again. read more

While I've never been inside, I consistently order takeout from here. The food is delicious. While I haven't been inside, strictly based on the delivered food, it's a must try. The fried rice in itself is worth trying the place. For some reason their fried rice takes extraordinarily good, it's the best I've ever had. I'm a fan of the peanut chicken and my husband always gets drunken noodles. Well throw in some new appetizers here and there but typically get our "staple" orders because they are just so good. She went into another room for a few minutes but was soon at it again. We were the only people in the restaurant.
