Wife and I got dinner from here last night and it was a huge mistake!! We got spring rolls, dumplings, sesame chicken and pad thai. Spring rolls were nice size but not crisp at all, the dumplings were ok, the sesame chicken was basically just fried dough with very tough chicken and no sesame sauce or sesame seeds and the pad thai was disgusting!! I typically don't order from here, not because I forgot I have already ordered from here and didn't like as my previous review indicates, but because it is pricey. I ordered from here last night. GF got a noodle soup. I was considering one of the curries I usually get from thai places but I saw "Vegetable and Tofu Three Flavor" which is described as "LKT's special sweet, spicy, and sour sauce". That seemed intriguing and the curiosity got the best of me. I also placed an order for my usuals: spring rolls and vegetable dumplings. I would like to throw in a few positive points for the fact that they have a vegetable menu as well as a mock duck (vegetarian) menu. It came in an appropriate amount of time. GF liked the noodle soup. They provided the sauce separately, which was interesting to me because I have never had that before. They also provided a pretty generous portion which made shaking it to distribute the sauce, impossible. The veggies were under steamed which made them a little more tough than I would have liked, especially the string beans. How can I describe the "three flavor sauce"....you know the dipping sauce that usually comes with spring rolls? It was like that. It was not good. AT ALL. If LTK is reading this, you guys need to remove this from your menu immediately. I forced myself to eat it because I didn't want to waste the food but it was not enjoyable. It was supposed to be a celebrate after working a week of long shifts meal and it was extremely disappointing. Didn't come close to hitting any kind of spot. I almost regretted eating it because I didn't have any room to order anything else. I tried to eat the leftovers today after tossing it in wok with soy sauce and some other shit but I can't do it. The spring roll filling was also not good, at all. How do you fuck up a bunch of cabbage in a fried dough wrapper? I will say that I liked the dumplings very much. I'm very disappointed and frankly annoyed at this place. They are EXPENSIVE. You charged me over $20 for that????? For THAT? Holy shit. It was not good to such a degree I don't even feel like I want to try anything else. I did think maybe it was because I tried something weird and not like a classic thai dish but my previous review indicates I tried penang curry and that was also not good. Forget it. Delivery driver (who handled door dash order that day) demanded tip by Zelle or PayPal (which is invasion of privacy)- he wouldn't leave till he got something from his delivery said the restaurant couldn't do anything order was closed. Very scary. Never ordering here again if this is the service I receive...DoorDash lets me tip as I've had orders taken before this place allowed a bad delivery person to harass customers...find a better Thai place. read more

I've gotten food from here twice now. The flavors and dishes are in general good tasting (!) but pricey for what it is -- the second time I went I was charged over $50 for 2 dishes (and they got my order wrong). The first time they didn't let us sit in (they might've been doing only pickup then), and the food was better than expected. The second time, they told me sit in was allowed. I still went with pick up though. I ordered through the phone and ordered the Garlic Tofu and Broccoli as well as the Massaman Curry, I said pick up the spice a little because it didn't have the chili symbol next to it in the menu -- but of course, not overdo it. When I reached there and got my food, I noticed the receipt on the bag said Eggplant and Broccoli and Massaman Curry (mild). That's literally not what I ordered. The lady at the front was pushing back a little, and that's just it, it's pretty hard to communicate when people don't listen. I still took what they gave me in the end and they gave me some chili sauce on the side. They were going to make the dishes again correctly, but I just said forget it. This place has been a hit or miss for me for several years. This is my last order. Got the Drunken Noodle, mild spicy. The dish should be renamed as it was very few broad noodles and mostly vegetables. When I first saw the container stuffed with tomatoes, peppers, large cuts of onion, I thought it was someone else's dish! Unfortunately not. To add to the disappointment of receiving basically a lukewarm salad with a few noodles, the dish had no spicy flavor....at all! Great portion sizes for each dish. They don't really skimp out on veg or protein. The people are really nice (they called to confirm that I didn't make a mistake on my DoorDash order - I had placed an order in advance vs. that day). Conveniently on DoorDash, so was able to order a day ahead for delivery - they delivered early (as requested) and all the food was piping hot! I felt safe during Covid-19 eating the food. Not quite a negative, but their dishes (at least most of what I've tried) are all on the sweeter and milder side, probably to cater more to a Western palate (versus more authentic Thai flavors). Just be aware when ordering. The duck curry was pretty good (supposed to be sweet with the coconut milk + red curry as well as pineapple) - it wasn't very spicy and it wasn't too watery (problems some places have). I had the massaman the first time and that was too sweet for me, so I didn't re-order it. One thing I wanted to mention is that all the food is cooked to very very very well done (some of the meat/shrimp were a bit on the tough side, so my kids weren't able to enjoy them). They did love the pad thai (sweet) and other noodles as well as the coconut soup (tom kar). The Som Tum was also not spicy, and on the light side for flavor. Typically the dish should have crushed up dried shrimp and fish sauce to give a more impactful umami oomph, which this was missing. I'd say my favorite dishes here are the Pad Kee Mao (aka Drunken Noodles) request for no tomato or less tomato - they're really chunky) and the duck curry. In the future if I ever go in person (post-pandemic), I'd see if they could reduce sugar / add heat to the dishes (not sure if some are just set like curries). Cool little take out spot I happen upon while working. Stopped by right when they're closing and they were really nice accommodating me and my last minute order. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai and it came out very nicely packaged and it held its heat until I came back to my hotel. It appears to be a nice spot. It's a shame that COVID-19 has made it more of a takeout spot cause I'd have loved to have sat down there. I'm up here for a few days so I think I'm coming back. read more

Had a great quick lunch here at LTK. My first impression was it was clean and unique. The decor is like chic noir (?) with chandeliers and tile floor. It was rainy and the road it was on had construction so a bit hard to navigate as a first timer, but there's plenty of parking around. I ordered the Tom Kar soup with chicken. It was a fairly large bowl and came out rather quickly. There was a lot of air in it maybe from mixing? So I had to stir it around to get the air out so I wouldn't get gassy, know what I mean? It was creamy but the flavor wasn't quite there. It was missing galangal and the scallion and kefir lime was a tad too much. Then came my chicken basil dumplings. These were a hit! Stuffed with tons of hearty chicken. This and the soup had me full all afternoon! Bathroom was clean and roomy for a single bath. Service was pleasant and timely. Will stop back in maybe for a curry dish or other entree next time. read more

Stopped in a few weeks ago. My wife just asked if I wanted go tomorrow For lunch. I gave her a hard no. The food wasn't the problem. Though it was expensive, $38 for 2. Just food, no drinks. The plates, shrimp and noodles for me, were sloppy with the food dumped on the plate so not appetizing. The chairs are old, no padding so you sit in a hole. The leather is cracked and they should have been replaced years ago. The waitress was wearing a coat. The place was cold. See why I said no? I asked to have the heat turned up. That wasn't happening. Just spoke to Kay who answered the phone. Last night I ordered Vegetables with Cashews and Pineapple. After getting home, past 10 PM, I sat down to eat, only to find the pineapples were not in the meal. I called this morning to let Little Thai Kitchen know that I was disappointed that no one told me last night they ran out of pineapples (one of the main reasons I orders THAT meal). This had to be the worst Thai food I've ever had. When I say it was sweet, I meat the noodles we're actually sweet. Not a little sweet but could have passed for dessert. The soup was ok, the satay was not good. The one possibility is my husband said he noticed someone who looked like the chef come into the kitchen after we got our food. So maybe he was on a break. But the stand in did not know how to cook. We would have rather waited. They took back our full plate of Pad Thai and discussed it (they asked why we didn't eat it and we told them) but they didn't bother to redo it or take it off the bill so that leads me to believe that is how they think it should taste. read more

Excellent Food, But Lackluster Ambiance And Careless Service Our waitress brought the wrong dish for my meal. I ordered shrimp with green curry sauce. She brought me chicken in green curry sauce. When she went to get me the correct order, she removed most of the chicken, and put a few shrimp in the bowl, but left some unwanted chicken pieces instead of creating a new plate. You will get nickeled and dimed there, having to pay for brown rice instead of white rice, and for lackluster tea, served without a coaster on which to place your teabag once the tea has steeped. Their chairs are falling apart. Some of them are torn, others feel worn out. The prices are higher than for most Thai restaurants we've gone to, and given that the place looks like a hole in a wall, that's completely unwarranted. read more

This food is expensive but the restaurant workers act cheap. The minimum amount to order delivery is $25. I ordered two different orders of dumplings and a side of noodles. The restaurant owners decided to put together the dumplings in one container. I obviously did not want that since I ordered it separately. I called them to ask about it and the worker said they put the dumplings together without letting me know because they wanted to save money on containers. I ordered the dumplings separately thinking there will be sauce added to each order. When the workers decided to put it together they didn't add extra sauce for the dumplings. The workers thought 1 tiny cup of sauce was good for 12 dumplings and dry noodles. The noodles are so dry, you'll need extra sauce for it. The worker on the phone also blamed me for not asking for more containers for the dumplings but I thought it was common sense that I wanted two containers when I ordered the dumplings separately. The worker then proceeded to say that "other customers like it when we put together the order" but I didn't realize I was the "other customers". I already ordered from this restaurant twice and this will be the last time. For a restaurant that charges ridiculously high prices, they act so cheap. read more

I came to Horace Greeley to watch a Field Hockey Game. I stopped in the LITTLE THAi Kitchen in Chappaqua. I am 6'0" and Black Male, the lady saw me and did not ask me anything for 10 minutes while I stood at the counter. I was the the only one in the place. Then the lady ask me "What do you want". I said whoa!! I said I would like to order. She shouted "what do you want". I guess they are not used to folks with the other color! I do not think this is a reflection on Chappaqua, but the Little Thai Kitchen has some serious issues. I walked out out without harm. But they will get some publicity I know that. read more

Cannot believe what I just experienced from this place! I order from here all the time through DoorDash. I place my order and I tip as if I would any other delivery driver. I do not tip 20% based on the total of the food as if I were sitting down dining. I don't think that's out of the norm? I placed the order and then got a call from the restaurant. Whoever I spoke to told me "sorry your tip is too low so no one is going to want to bring it to you, you're probably looking at about 2 hours". I was confused because that's not something DoorDash would do, delivery tips are optional. Turns out this restaurant only uses DoorDash as a way to order, so they handle the deliveries, refunds, etc. So this restaurant is basically refusing to deliver my order any time soon because they don't like the tip I am giving the driver. It was an almost $80 order so I'm not sure why the business wasn't enough? I tell my husband what happened and he tells me to call back and cancel the order. I call them back and they tell me sorry it's already ready. Impossible, I ordered it 5 minutes ago. The employee then refuses to cancel my order telling me he can't because he needs to call DoorDash. Meanwhile on the app it tells me I need to cancel through the restaurant. I tell him that I am aware he is the one who can cancel it and he begins to scream at me "omg I can't call them for a refund if you won't hang up!" And he hangs up on me. I call back and tell him he's lying to me and that I need to be refunded ASAP. Then all of a sudden my order can be here in 5 minutes. I said I don't want the food, and insisted he cancel my order. After arguing with him for a good 15 mins with him speaking to me in the most unprofessional way, he talks to someone in the background and tells me my order is cancelled. Ok, so I get it. Restaurants are struggling. But don't jack up your prices! For 4 dumplings, I was charged 10$. Two mini spring rolls? 10$! While the entree was delicious and the same portion, I was really displeased with the cut in apps. While they have never been known for great service, their food was always on point. If you want us to support local business, don't jack up your prices! Rework your menu, offer something different, and adapt! Really upset and overcharged. Best Thai food I've had in Westchester! We got the drunken noodles and the green curry, both vegetarian. The green curry was nicely flavored with a good mix of nice fresh veg with just the right amount of spice. The drunken noodles were hot AF--probably one of the spiciest dishes I've ever eaten, with visible pepper flecks covering every millimeter of noodle. Over the last year and a half the cost has almost doubled and the food has not only dropped to mediocre but is downright bad. Just paid $24 for a noodle dish with tough chicken and what was supposed to be a sweet tangy sauce that was made entirely of oil. Very disappointed as I would much prefer it to be a restaurant in town that was worth frequenting. Even thought of calling and respectfully speaking to management.
