    Chipotle Chicken Tacos
    Angela G.

My husband and I just enjoyed some tacos at this Pleasantville NY location earlier today. He ordered soft-shelled fish tacos (which he enjoyed) while I ordered soft-shelled chipotle chicken tacos with guacamole. My order contained fresh ingredients and was delicious. The chipotle gave the chicken a tasty amount of heat without being overwhelming. It was perfectly spiced. Only thing was that it was a bit expensive for what we received. My addition of guacamole added $1.50 to the overall price of about $12.00 for 2 soft-shelled making it $13.50 just for mine. The tacos are a regular size, not large. I just want you to be aware of this. I would still eat here though and left sufficiently satiated. They have a good variety of drinks and offer an ample variety of food on their menu. They even offer desserts. The staff seemed friendly enough. The eatery is clean, cozy, with cute decor. There were outlets close to our table which is nice. I'd recommend giving this place a try.

Side Sidewinder Fries & chips and Guacamole + Spicy Margaritas

Absolutely love this place, I love spicy margaritas and you can literally taste the fresh jalapeños in every sip! Huge fan of their sidewinder fries & fresh guacamole. Just a heads up they don't have waiters so you have to order at the counter and they'll bring your food out to you! Indoor and outdoor seating available. They have pretty decent pricing for happy hour drinks too!

    BBQ Pulled Pork Bowl

Pretty good spot! I was really craving some Mexican food one night and found this restaurant that does takeout. The exterior and interior looks so cute that I had to stop by. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork bowl and it comes with a crispy tortilla shell on the bottom. They also have tacos and burritos too. The pulled pork was super juicy and flavorful, and I love how you can fully customize your bowl to your liking. I wished they gave a little more meat, and less rice and beans. The rice and beans don't have much flavor, but it's alright. I'll probably come back to try their burritos one day.

So glad I took a chance! Had a really difficult day and needed to get my 1st bite to eat later than expected! This place did not disappoint and was truly worth the wait! Customer service from the walk in was on point! Happy hour was a success! Drinks as picky as I am were on the money! Fries were undeniably tasty.. so much so that I shared a few with someone that was drawn in from me sitting at the window seat enjoying! Friendly people! Tastyyyyy food & drinks! If you have a hectic day it will certainly have the potential to turn that frown upside down! Lily was absolutely amazing! I ordered my burrito bowl to go so no photos sorry!

An overall disappointing experience of missing ingredients, bland food, and dry overcooked meats. This new Westchester Mexican fast casual chain really missed the mark on all metrics. Perhaps the growing pains of a new operation. I ordered the chorizo tacos, pork belly tacos, steak burrito, and churros. The steak burrito, intended to be filled with rice, beans, queso fresco cheese, and sour cream, was missing both sour cream and the grilled corn (extra charge). It fell apart immediately as picked up. The flavor was bland, even with the addition of the tomatillo and pico de gallo. And the steak was overcooked to a dry flavorless unidentifiable meat product. The pork belly and chorizo tacos were served in stale hard shells, a major misstep given Taco Project prides themselves on their farm-to-table yellow corn tortilla. Similar to the steak burrito, both the pork belly and chorizo were overcooked into a dry tasteless bite. And the flavors were off balance and required an acidic kick. The house-made churros served with chocolate and caramel dipping sauce was a pleasant treat and was the highlight of the meal. Light and airy texture with a rich buttery taste.

Oh yeah. This place is a great local restaurant. Its quaint and very comfortable. Decor is earthy and comfortable. Food selections were good. I had the chicken burrito and it was huge and tasty. They make a homemade sauce here well two actually and they were so good. Free wifi and a lovely back patio when the day is warm. Go here for a great meal at a great value

Smoked Corn and Field Green Salad with chicken.

This place was so good. I came in for lunch and got the smoked corn salad. The staff was so friendly. The place was clean. The shredded chicken was delicious. Great portion salad. Filled me up for sure. The dressing was lightly applied which I like. I was very pleased with the place. Small spot, but good for lunch or takeout.

They also have an all day breakfast menu and that automatically gets them on my awesome list. I rated it 5 stars. True score of 4.1. I went with 5 because I wanted to boost the overall score because the place is obviously getting lower marks from the spoiled privileged brats (the adults) in the area that expect it to be a trendy ridiculous club like atmosphere as they sip on overly watered down frozen margaritas.

I never had chilaqulies before so it was cool to try a new dish. ( It sorta reminded me of loaded nachos. The meats and toppings were loaded on top of the chips. However, it did make the chips less crispy. Don't hate me if that was how it was meant to be eaten. But I wished the chips were placed on the side like the rice and beans to keep the chips crispy). Typically, the chicken in chimichangas is shredded and fresh. It wasn't here and I didn't like that it tasted processed and not fresh. The guacamole was absolutely delicious. My husband had the chicken quesadilla and my granddaughter and her boyfriend had shredded beef tacos which they said were tasty as well. The salsa was watery and the chips were fried too hard.

No frills, no flashy atmosphere -- just comida auténtica and seriously satisfying flavors. I ordered the carne asada nachos and an order of tacos al pastor, and both hit the spot perfectly. Fresh ingredients, bold flavor, and that classic street-style taco taste that instantly lifts your ánimo on a gloomy day. The nachos were loaded, cheesy, and packed with flavor, while the al pastor tacos were simple, fresh, and delicioso. And yes... we washed it all down with a Coke Zero in a glass bottle because somehow it siempre tastes better that way. Now, if you're looking for upbeat energy and polished service, este lugar probably isn't it. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced and lacked motivation. But where the service fell short, the kitchen absolutely delivered with authentic flavors and generous portions.
