Centrally located within walking distance to so many points of interest. Very friendly staff, happy to serve us. Beautiful patio seating. Oh my, the bread with the olive oil and salt. Nothing like back home. Wow. Ordered fettuccini alfredo with chicken, penne pasta with tomato and crushed garlic and a side of sautéed spinach to share that was also garlic forward. Cheese and black pepper was offered and accepted. One glass of red and one glass of white. The food was so good and fresh. Our cafe style seat was across from a church, so on the hour bells would ring. That certainly added to the ambience. An overall good experience.

Delicious food & super friendly wait staff. Went here twice on our visit to Rome, and both times had amazing meals! Great atmosphere inside and out.

Our fist sit down meal upon arrival and everything was soo delicious. The quality and taste of the food was great and we're coming back before we leave. Melon and Prosciutto, mussels and clams, Alfredo, mushrooms ravioli, steak and fries. Service is friendly and less than a mile from our stay. We sat inside to stay cool, very nice vibe.

Small little restaurant. Great ambiance! The food was fantastic! We started off with prosciutto and melon and focaccia and olive oil as a starter. My wife had the 4 cheese gnocchi and I had the fettuccine with meat sauce. Both excellent. We finished off by sharing a tiramisu and two espresso. The service was top notch. A must try in Rome.

Their focaccia garlic bread was served warm, 10/10

Casa Maria was one of our favorite spots in Rome, we looked up the best fettuccine Alfredo and found this place. Not only was the fettuccine was good, every single dish that came out was good. We ordered the bolognese, calamari, and other dishes. Their bread was amazing here too, definitely give it a try this place won't disappoint.

This place was amazing-they were about to close but still allowed us in and fed us a huge and outstandingly flavorful meal. We ordered enough for 4 people when there was only 2. Calamari, Caesar salad, gnocchi and a charcuterie board. Even the bread here was ridiculous!!! Highly recommend.

I trusted Yelp and the reviews did not lead us astray. 10/10!!! We had the penne arrabiatta, spaghetti carbonara and lasagna. All were sheer perfection. Wish we had stayed longer in Rome, because we would have revisited Casa Maria!

Thank heavens for this place. We have been in various cities in Umbria and Tuscany and shocked at how little flavor most of the meals had. Sure, they were fresh, but it seemed that everyone was afraid to use spices other than salt, pepper, and olive oil. And we came here on our last night before flying out because we passed a man eating this penne et salmon on the street side dining. We were not disappointed this time! Flavor, freshness, and lovely service. Highly recommend!

Service was fast and friendly. Risotto was too crunchy and the correct rice was not used.... Limoncello sprits was good and bread with olive oil was good. Stick to something else !

Amazing service, fresh, delicious food, and friendly staff. We loved it so much that we ate their THREE times during our weeklong stay in Rome. The staff is warm, inviting, and remembers their customers. The food is all made to order and is delicious. We definitely lucked out when we found this spot. If you're in Rome- please do yourself a favor and stop by Casa Maria.

We were lucky enough to grab a table for lunch. We had a margherita, pepperoni, and a burrata with prosciutto pizza. All three were outstanding. The crust, the dough, the toppings - everything tasted fresh and came together perfectly. One of the best, yet simplest meals we've had. They also offer salads, though we didn't try any. The two behind the counter were fun and friendly. They take your order, ask where you're from, and then shout out your location when your food is ready - a really fun touch. Bonus: our table had a USB charging station, which was a really nice surprise while out exploring the city. There's also a small bathroom in the back for customers. This one really hit home. Definitely worth a stop.

Plus, the space is very hot inside, but better to sit near the window or do takeaway. I wasn't very hungry, but wanted one last pizza in Italy. When I saw that this spot does mini pizzas, which means I was able to choose a variety of flavors; I was so excited! Unfortunately, they ran out of the mini pizza dough and only had the large. It really is a shame, because I didn't think the bigger version is worth €15 each. Nonetheless, I ordered the Burrata & Anchovies while the husband got Pepperoni. I really did enjoy the flavor and chewiness of the dough. The burrata also gave it such a nice creaminess to balance the pizza that worked perfectly. Sadly, I had to waste a slice because I couldn't finish the larger pizza, so still a bit upset that I couldn't order the mini. With that said, it's a delicious pizza spot.

Seating area was very small. I was seated in walk way area and it was a bit busy with people going in and out of restrooms. Ordered Carbonara, Genovese and Aperitivo. I had Carbonara for the first time and I m not a big fan of it. I have to try it again to make sure if it's me or the way the dish taste. Genovese was ok, beef stew was inside of a bread. Aperitivo, I chose spritz which came with refreshing cocktails and three little fried pizza. Overall the food tasted acceptable but wait time for Cabonara was long. It must have been like 30 minutes. I was done eating everything and had to just wait for that. The restaurant was small and this is a classic popular dish. I don't think they should take this long.
