Service was friendly but one thing I learned thus far in Italy, was that you need to speak up when you want prompt service. Otherwise they will let you take your time. Simple menu but packed with flavor. Started with drinks - gin and tonic was great even though I didn't know the brand. Had the rigatoni and fiancee had the buccatinni. Some really great noodles, along with some fresh bread, olive oil/balsamic. Perfect portion size as well - killed it and then had the steak and arugula too which was also well portioned and flavorful. Simple deliciousness. The service was terrible. I had to ask twice for the wifi password and what the waitress provided didn't work. I ordered a cappuccino but was told their cappuccinos aren't very good so I should order something else. I asked for an americano coffee and 10 minutes later was told that the espresso machine was broken so I wasn't going to get anything at all. We were charged for bread and oil but we were given plates so it was difficult to eat without making a mess. The carbonara pasta was very good, but the portion was small for the price. read more

Went here for an early dinner in Rome. It was a great experience. Not only was the food fantastic, I had the cacio e Pepe which was so tasty, but the staff was so friendly. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful with our broken Italian! If I'm ever in Rome again I will definitely be returning here for great food and friendly staff. read more

Nice spot, great service. Ana took care of us and made us feel welcome for our first meal in Italy! It's hard to review since we have few places to compare it to yet, but we left there very satisfied and the tiramisu was easily the best dessert we've ever had. We started with prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella and a half liter of red wine. I had the pasta special which was spaghetti with sea bass and clams. My daughter had fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and clams. We sat outside and took our time with the meal, taking in the sights and chatting with our waitress. Overall a very enjoyable experience! A night stroll around Castel Sant'Angelo, right around the corner, was the perfect ending to our first day in Rome. read more

This is a quaint little place and if you come here expect Anna to make you feel like you are a member of her family. What a jewel! Anna will help you select the best menu item and she makes it fun. What a great experience coming here. The food - home made pasta! Delicious with every bite but if you are on low sodium diet, please tell them. The table next to us mentioned too much sodium. To my way of thinking - you do not order steak at an Italian restaurant but if you do it here , you will probably regret.
