Celebrating a birthday and the guest of honor chose this establishment. We expected the place to be small based on YELP reviews. We didn't expect to be packed in so tightly. Seems that there is a table of every size in every available space. We were greeted warmly when we arrived. However, our server seemed rushed and disappeared for a time. Besides feeling rushed, the noise level was irritating. We could hardly hear each other at our own table. However, we could clearly hear every word at the two adjacent tables! I must admit the food was delicious and fresh. I would like to come back on another night, for dinner. Perhaps during the week? Or maybe sit at the bar. Saturday night is too noisy and crowded to really savor the meal.

Small restaurant but so good! Definitely order the paella and sangria, you will not be disappointed. We did not see tortilla (Spanish omelette) on the menu but upon asking, we were told they could make one to order and even customized with ingredients so we ended up going with chorizo in it. Unlike other restaurants, this was the best part because it typically has onions and I prefer without so the fact they made to order was amazing. Our server was really accommodating and honestly all of the staff is super nice. The only thing I found odd with it being a Spanish restaurant was they had 2-3 Mexican cuisine items on their menu. If you want authentic Spanish food, check them out!

F L A V O R is their specialty. Unbelievable choices all across the menu. We decided with our favorites (not pictured) the mushrooms, pork, shrimp, and the potato chips. Then finished it off with the arroz con pollo. Everything was delicious and is definitely a must go to place. Staff was very friendly and worked well with one another. I can't wait to be back!

Well, waterfront restaurant, how can you resist. My wife decides to invite her sister to come. No comment for now. Read about Valet parking but not there tonight. Restaurant not very crowded, in fact no crowds at 5:30 but got a little better later. Ok let's eat. First and to my surprise it's Restaurant Week. Special three course meal for )46. Seems like a no brainer. I started with Lobster Bisque. I couldn't find any lobster and not much flavor. Mrs. E has their Calamari which was ok but she said wouldn't order again. Dinner... I had the rigatoni with wagu meat sauce. This was pretty good and I would definitely have it again. My wife had the braised pork shank which was meh. There was a side but hard to figure out what it was. I know I said no comment to the sister-in-law but she had the salmon. Said she liked it. Just a side note. I hate it when someone says " do you want to taste mine ". NO. If I wanted to taste that I would have ordered it. Now my big, no huge problem. We ordered coffee. Just plain regular coffee. Comes out with a small vase of creamer. The creamer was very chunky. That's right clearly bad. Almost cheese. I pointed it out to our waitress who acknowledged it but left it sitting there for about 5 minutes. A little disgusting. Eventually new coffee and creamer comes back. Oh the view. Well it was dark out so the view was non existent. Not the fault of the restaurant. Will I go back? Maybe, maybe not. I think not.

The staff was so friendly and attentive, the food was great, and my family had such a tasty meal. My rib-eye steak was cooked to perfection! Last week a friend of mine had a graduation party at The View with about 30 people. Again, I was so impressed with how well everyone was treated, and how responsive the staff was. What compelled me to write a review about these great experiences, was stopping in for a quick burger with my wife. OMG, It was amazing. A week before we stopped into a well-known burger grill in NYC, Five Napkin Burgers, where we had one of the best burgers ever. However, my wife and I concluded that Jeanine at The View outshined this NYC burger grill! I was impressed. It really and truly was one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time and has become my new very favorite place to go, especially for a great burger. Previously, when I had a rib-eye steak, for me, it ranked with some of the best steak houses on Long Island. There will always be those that just can't be satisfied and will take to writing bad reviews in spite. However, I've been to The View Grill many times over the years, and their Chef, Jeanine, has never disappointed us. I've never had a bad meal or experience there. My local favorite spot, hands down, for a great meal at a great price. Kudos to The View Grill for great meals!!! Without hesitation, I highly recommend them. (next time I'll have to take some photos)

Instead, my wife bit down on a shard of glass in her salad, which caused her mouth to bleed as a result. We told our server about this, and she called the manager over to our table. He apologized profusely, offered to take off the charges for the meal, and said management would be following up. We waited a week for the follow up from management. Finally, my wife called The View, and had a discussion with Bryan Camacho, the General Manager of the View. He said how sorry he was that my wife had her mouth cut by glass, and invited us to have another meal as their guest in order to give The View another chance. He said he would email his offer later that day. No email arrived that day. Or the next. Or the one after that. My wife called again and left a voicemail including her email address in case he misplaced it. After another day passed without hearing from the restaurant, I reached out again to Mr. Camacho. To date, we have not heard back. I read that there are 6,418 restaurants in New York City. Or 6,417 options before ever going back to The View in the Marriott Marquis. Tom Ungar

Upon arriving, my husband and I parked in the Forest parking lot, which had ample parking spaces and a map, laying out available trail options. We began with the Hilltop Meadow, which we completed fairly quickly. After, we thought we'd challenge ourselves a bit more by taking on the Forest Sanctuary. We enjoyed this trail, although we sometimes had to look over our shoulders to investigate the noises around us. Everything kept us on our toes, from squirrels to deer, chipmunks, and other wildlife. The terrain may be difficult for some, due to the tree roots and the uphill climbs, but other than that, it was manageable. We appreciated that there were several signs posted throughout the park, helping us to keep track of our location. Additionally, there were warning signs reminding us of the possibility of tick exposure. One thing is for sure: we kept it moving and thoroughly checked our clothing afterwards. My favorite trail of the day was The Mill Pond. I loved the well-paved paths and the overall layout. I could've spent hours here. I highly recommend this park for those who enjoy the outdoors.
