The complimentary champagne toast was such a nice touch. They also surprised us with a complimentary anniversary dessert that was beautifully presented, which made the celebration even more memorable. The food was outstanding. It was served baked and topped with crabmeat and a lemon butter sauce with sides of mashed potatoes and veggies. Even after adding salt and pepper I found myself wishing I'd ordered an extra side of sauce as it was the most flavorful thing on the plate. In addition to the bland food and drink, the wait time was unexpectedly long. I will say they were pretty busy when we arrived but we didn't have to wait for a table. They had a beautiful courtyard for outdoor dining. I popped inside to use the restroom and the bar was pretty packed with patrons watching the soccer game. Still, it did not explain the longer than usual wait times. I may give this spot one more try since I live in the area and saw some other yummy looking menu items but I really hope it's improvement to this visit.
