I would definitely recommend this spot for a date.

The place is very nicely decorated and exudes an upscale but unpretentious vibe. I ordered a glass of the pinot noir which was tasty and at $6 a nice bargain. I got the chickpea fries and was surprised by the texture. It was almost custard like with a slight chickpea flavor in a very light breading. Served with the harissa aioli it made for a nice app. After a while I decided to try the Filet mignon sliders, which I ordered medium rare, the bartender said they don't usually take a temp on those but he'd note it. The meat is sliced very thin but was tender and still had a bit of red. The arugula gave it a nice peppery bite. My only critic is the slider roll was very cottony, but the overall taste was very good. I'll definitely be back and will try something off the regular menu.

As mentioned they try to offer fresh, seasonal apps, handhelds, salads and entrees. The protein entree options only offer two to three chicken, pork, steak, seafood selections along with a couple of pasta infused dishes. They have a full bar, so if a beer or cocktail is wanted you do have options there as well. The Mr selected the Chilled Shrimp & Crab Stack, but eliminated the hard boiled egg aspect and thought it was light, tasty and refreshing. I opted for the Faroe Salmon with shrimp that came accompanied/on top of a risotto and peas. I thought cooked medium was perfect making it soft and fork flaky to mix along together. It was a very juicy sizable piece making it very filling. We didn't have time for a dessert, but noted they did have a few offerings there. Also noted they had very well kept mens/woman's and family restroom with baby changing table. Thanks! Would highly recommend this location to others.

Excellent job!! We sat at the bar for lunch and the Executive Chef greeted us and engaged us in conversation about the menu! Nothing better than knowing the source! A++++ on sourcing local fresh products and engaging customers! Way to show you are passionate and dedicated to providing the best experience! We had fried olives, quite good and unique! Served in a Martini glass with some dipping sauce. A must try! A great accompaniment to one of their craft martinis! We also had the spicy tuna app. That was very good as well. Beautifully plated, flavorful and Asian-Fusion style. Recommended! We split a classic French Dip Sandwich, The bread was perfect! It also has horse radish dipping sauce on the side! Mmmmm! It had caramelized onions beautifully sliced slow cooked flavorful rib eye! All the right flavors! Probably one of the best French Dips around! Oh I gotta mention the thick crinkle cut chips! So many places fumble by putting just any commercially available fries or starch on the side of the plate. No fumbles at Magnolias! Seems they hand cut thick crinkle cut chips and fried them perfectly so the outside was crisp and the thick inside was soft and tender! Perfect!!! My Martini was a "Caprese Martini". Mozzarella fat washed, with mild olive oil and Basil flavors. Made right in front of us! Served chilled! Garnished with fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomato! Um perfect! Oh, forgot to mention, they have a super price fix lunch menu! Hard to beat! We will return again and again! Better late than never with this backdated review--life has just been lifing!…read moreI finally made it to Artemis on July 22nd after fiending to go since January. There's actually a hilarious story behind why I went. I was originally supposed to have a date that night, but let's be real: you'd think a 61-year-old man would know better than to take a 47-year-old woman to Dave & Buster's. I canceled the night before, dolled myself up the day of, and decided to take myself out instead. Best decision ever. The joint is dimly lit. But your eyes wind up adjusting. It's got a great vibe. Definitely excellent for a date night. The bartenders here are absolute rockstars. I started with a Painkiller. Even though it's no longer on the menu, they whipped it up for me anyway--and hey, it definitely relieved my pain, lol! Next, I tried a Corpse Reviver just because it had absinthe in it. It was different, but I really enjoyed it. Naturally, I had to finish with my signature drink, a Cosmopolitan, because I am the Black Carrie Bradshaw of Long Island. And it did not disappoint. The eats: I got the charcuterie board--fancy and bougie, just like me--and wrapped up the night with the brownie à la mode for dessert. Drowning my troubles in sweets is a must when the Long Island dating pool is an absolute wasteland, lmao. Did I want to spend my night around teenagers, kids, and skee-ball? HELL NO! I wanted a grown-and-sexy speakeasy vibe, and Artemis delivered. 5/5 stars--would 100% recommend!

Artemis is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a great ambiance, and our waitress was friendly,…read moreattentive, and did a good job taking care of us. Unfortunately, the overall experience was mixed. The two-hour table limit felt unnecessarily restrictive, especially for a group of eight. We were split into two separate areas of the restaurant, and there didn't seem to be much willingness to accommodate us so we could sit together. The person checking us in was not particularly welcoming, which didn't make the best first impression. What really left a bad taste, though, was the manager's explanation that the two-hour limit is necessary because "turning tables" is how the restaurant makes money. While I understand the business reasoning, hearing it explained that way made the experience feel more transactional than hospitable. The biggest issue is that the time limit actually worked against the restaurant. Rather than staying for another drink and continuing our evening there, we ended up going somewhere else. For me, that defeats the purpose of creating a nice atmosphere if guests are being encouraged to leave before they're ready. Beautiful restaurant, good service from our waitress, but the rigid seating policy and the way it was handled would make me think twice about returning.

We started with three appetizers to share: the golden meatballs, the baked clams and the fried artichokes. All three were absolutely delicious. I chose ricotta cavatelli bolognese as my entree. It was rich and meaty and silky - something I'd definitely order again. I also tried my sister's autumn pizette, one of the specials. Thin crisp crust, thinly sliced squas, sausage, cheese and a drizzle of fig glaze. A perfectly composed fall dish. Everyone else enjoyed their meals (spaghetti & meatballs, veal parm, chicken française, and spaghetti with seafood.) We shared two desserts - tiramisu was just as I like it, moist but not wet with all the flavors melding into something greater than their individual parts. The tricolor cake was a slice of rainbow cookie, dense and decadent. Our server Michaela was charming and efficient. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet relaxed. Overall, a five star experience.

The Vidalia onion soup was honestly the best onion soup I've ever had, and I'm a huge onion soup fan. The crab cake bites were among the best crab cakes I've had anywhere, which is saying a lot because I've spent years searching for great crab cakes. I also loved the maple bacon mac and cheese, which struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory. My daughter enjoyed the Georgia wings and sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. I had the Georgia-themed Old Fashioned, while my daughter tried the Guy Fieri-inspired Georgia margarita. Both were creative, well-balanced, and memorable. As a mobility disabled person, accessibility is always important to me, and Roadtrip did very well. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant with an accessible route to the entrance. Inside, the aisles are wide, the seating is flexible with movable chairs, and the restroom is fully accessible. The only thing keeping it from a perfect accessibility score is the lack of automatic doors. Food: 11/10 Cocktails: 10/10 Accessibility: 9/10 Roadtrip Bayshore earns my highest recommendation. The menu and food were excellent, there's truly something for everyone. We opted for the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, and our entrees were the Brisket Horseradish Stack and the Blue Summit Burger. The service was great - the wait staff, attentive. What unfortunately has left a lasting impression and may be the reason I don't go back is they're okay, and likely encourage (based on their IG) content creators to visit. I understand in this day and age, exposure means everything. Getting a viral video could mean the definition of sink or swim in a competitive industry. What's not okay is having content creators with their bright lights blinding the patrons next to them. Having a bright camera light shone in our faces several times through our dinner soured the experience. I hope in the future the staff, and the owner (who was there), are more conscious of the dining experience for others.

The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. We then did butterbeer shots and I can't even begin to tell you how delish they were...dangerously delicious. Food was had and it wasn't anything to write about but I'll try. Queso dip is made in house, which I respect. Loaded potato wontons were a great idea and were probably the best things on the table. You can't go wrong with pretzel nuggets. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon.
