Celebrating a birthday and the guest of honor chose this establishment. We expected the place to be small based on YELP reviews. We didn't expect to be packed in so tightly. Seems that there is a table of every size in every available space. We were greeted warmly when we arrived. However, our server seemed rushed and disappeared for a time. Besides feeling rushed, the noise level was irritating. We could hardly hear each other at our own table. However, we could clearly hear every word at the two adjacent tables! I must admit the food was delicious and fresh. I would like to come back on another night, for dinner. Perhaps during the week? Or maybe sit at the bar. Saturday night is too noisy and crowded to really savor the meal.

Small restaurant but so good! Definitely order the paella and sangria, you will not be disappointed. We did not see tortilla (Spanish omelette) on the menu but upon asking, we were told they could make one to order and even customized with ingredients so we ended up going with chorizo in it. Unlike other restaurants, this was the best part because it typically has onions and I prefer without so the fact they made to order was amazing. Our server was really accommodating and honestly all of the staff is super nice. The only thing I found odd with it being a Spanish restaurant was they had 2-3 Mexican cuisine items on their menu. If you want authentic Spanish food, check them out!

F L A V O R is their specialty. Unbelievable choices all across the menu. We decided with our favorites (not pictured) the mushrooms, pork, shrimp, and the potato chips. Then finished it off with the arroz con pollo. Everything was delicious and is definitely a must go to place. Staff was very friendly and worked well with one another. I can't wait to be back!

What a bummer !!!…read more Before writing this review, I made sure to come back several times, on Friday nights, to see if my experience was just a one-off. Unfortunately, things have definitely changed. The vibe that once made this place special just isn't there anymore. On a Friday night, the atmosphere feels flat, and even the lighting could use some work (Too Bright) it would benefit from being dimmed to create a more inviting and energetic setting. The staff doesn't seem as engaged as they once were, and sadly, the food isn't hitting the same either. The biggest disappointment, however, has been the music. The DJs don't seem to know how to read the crowd. When most of the room is sitting down and barely even bobbing their heads, it's probably time to switch things up and get some energy flowing. The one bright spot is Mike behind the bar. He's still on point, keeps the drinks coming, and provides the level of service that keeps customers happy. I truly enjoyed this place in the past, which makes it even more disappointing to see it heading in this direction. I'm hoping management takes notice and brings back the atmosphere that made people want to keep coming back.

We asked for extra so we could have it with our mussels pot. -- Mussels Pot with white wine, garlic & oil (dinner menu/$23)...Incredible!! So flavorful! Especially with their garlic bread for dipping! This was our favorite dish, and the perfect portion for 3 ppl to share. Get this! -- Pompei Special: a variety of seafood over linguini w.butter garlic sauce (lunch special/ $24): this was good but slightly bland. It would have been better with the white wine garlic & oil sauce from the mussels pot. But the seafood was fresh and plentiful. -- Stuffed Flounder w.lump crab meat and veg (lunch special/$19): very good. This was a lunch portion, so not ideal for sharing but a great meal for one person. -- Spumoni Truffle Ice Cream ($11): this came cut in 4 pieces, and was easy to share. Delicious and very satisfying! -- Tiramisu ($12): this was good but ordinary. I would try something else next time. This was a great meal. We wanted to have soft shell crab but it was still a little early in the season, so we'll have to come back next month to have some! Customer service was welcoming and friendly. There's a small parking lot in front of the restaurant. It wasn't a problem during lunch but I can see it being more difficult during dinner and weekends.

You don't have to chose the $60 AYCE option, but I do think you get great value if you do AYCE compared to the packages that aren't. You get a dry erase marker and make your selections on the menu. I was impressed by the wide variety of options from soups like clam chowder to lobster rolls to vegetables to salads to the seafood options. I ended up trying scallops, corn, Dungeness crab, king crab legs, broccoli. I also tried both the house blend and the garlic butter sauces. To be honest, the butter was overpowering in both sauces so next time I would just try the original Cajun sauce. The portion of food you get and the quality is great! Decent amount of lobster in the lobster roll, and good amount of meat in the shellfish. I also love that they had the Knicks vs Cavs game playing. It's also cute that they change the song to a happy birthday song when they're celebrating someone's birthday. It's definitely a more casual ambiance but fun for celebrating birthdays. I also appreciate that they supply plenty of gloves, crackers, as well as bibs. It'll def be a messy eating experience! The only piece of feedback I'd say is we didn't get any refills on our waters during our meal, nor did we get a beverage we ordered, but otherwise our server was very friendly.

The fritto misto appetizer is outstanding, perfect for 2-4 people. Also had to try the oysters Rockefeller which are always delicious. My first visit (NYE '26) they had octopus on their specials menu. I PRAY they bring it back because it was memorable, even 6 months later. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing smoothly without hovering. My martini was perfectly made (strong but smooth), and the overall vibe was lively, energetic, but still perfect for catching up. The vibe really made the night.
