I use to live in the area and use to go here quite a bit before the remodel. After I moved I did come down to this place for a while. Just a few weeks ago I decided to take my mom and kids out for dinner and was craving Mexican food. Since it's one of the only places that has a play area I decided to come here. I shared a molcajete for one and a small order of guacamole with my mom and my kids got a tostada de jaive and a chicken nugget meal. the food is nothing to brag about but I settled for this place because of the play area. The bill was $85 for all we order. I founded pretty steep as this place is not that good but I guess I am paying an up charge for their remodel. I decided to one's again give this place a shot on Friday after work with my wife and kids because the kids could play and let us talk for a bit. They had mariachi come in 30-45 minutes after we showed up. The mariachi lead came over to greet us asking "if we were celebrating anything". We stated "we were not" and he said "if we wanted to listen to anything to let him know that it was a courtesy of the house". We thought that was nice but did not ask for any songs. When the bill came they added $20 bucks in hand writing. My wife ask the waitress about that charge and she stated it to cover the mariachi. I refused to pay this as 1 we did not ask for any songs and 2 the lead singer said the mariachi was a house courtesy. What a misleading way of doing business!!!!!!!. That this is down right ghetto. Order entertainment and pass the bill on to the guest.....SMH. never coming here again. read more

My only complaint is more seating for karaoke is need because it attracts lots of people.. Other than that the food service an atmosphere is authentic MEXICAN With a great vibe and always a good time this is a place for a family dinner read more

I waited at the drive through for a while before driving up to the window and seeing what the wait was. It looked empty inside and out but whatever. My chilaquiles breakfast was $8 but I wanted a side of carne asada. ANOTHER $8!!! Holy cow that's ridiculous. My breakfast was pretty good by my wife enjoyed her wet burrito and my kids gobbled up their caldo de pollo. If I could rate this place a zero I would. Waitress are rude af. Went in today with the family who had already reserved a table. Not to mention the biggest damn table there. A party of 20 people. Adding me and my hasband, and daughter making it 23. Apparently there was no room for us 3 to sit on the reserved table. So there was a small table next to that table. We told The dumb waitress if we could move the table next to it. (Also the table was super small.) So this waitress says how many people are in your party.....we told her the table Was reserved for Daniel! Apparently people work here and don't even know who to expect as their costumers. Well anyways long story short the first waitress couldn't do anything so she asked another waitress to assist us. The other one comes in asking how many people are in your party. Again.... it was so annoying we couldn't get these girls to do one simple thing. Which was move the table to the side. We left very upset we couldn't be with our family for the fact these dumb girls couldn't give good service. We were just over it. Nice to know we will never come here again. Went here on a Saturday afternoon around 5 o clock, not busy at all was seated right away. All waitresses that'd pass by would check on us. Drinks are a bit expensive and very alcohol strong. Waitresses were nice, love the playground for my kids but the food wasn't great and very pricy! I ordered my kids a grilled cheese with fries and also a quesadilla with fries- $9.75 each from the kids menu! I've never had to pay that much from a kids menu. Husband ordered a shrimp ceviche tostada- $10.95 and was dry, no lime juice and very bland. I ordered a steak picado a la Mexicana- $18 which tasted like the steak and potatoes where cooked in only butter, very bland! beans tasted sour....hope I don't get sick! molcajete-$25 was the only decent thing which my in-laws shared. we all ordered water and 1 Jamaica totaling everything to $86 I would be ok with paying that if the food was good......but it wasn't. read more

I usually really like this place allot. It is amazing environment and has some really good food. I ordered to go, and it was the complete opposite. Their was thick hair in my food it looked like pubic hair in my cheese. Had to stop eating it wanted to puke when I saw that. Made me sick to stomach. This place needs a lot of work, it has potential. 1st of all I went when it was pretty hot out and you go into a restaurant wanting to cool off and it was just as hot or worse. Invest in an A/C. 2nd the waitress that helped us seemed like she didn't want to be there. My table was right next to the window and ny brother who was with me saw a trail of ants. Definitely something you do not want to see when you're eating. We were done with our meal and we were waiting for the waitress to come give us our bill that we had to go look for her. She was even rude about that. So for that I give it one star. The food which is the most important was not great either. I had been here once before just for drinks, the mango margarita, was delicious so I wanted to try the food and was thoroughly disappointed. Will not be going back. read more

The food is good. Service is okay too. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the play pen. They added this horrible section where your kids can play. The idea is cool but they should've done it in a different part of the restaurant. We came to eat on a Thursday night and we couldn't even enjoy our micheladas in peace. We came here last minute for my dad and sisters bday. We didn't have to wait long for a table. I think it is so cute that they have an indoor play area for kids. (Think McDonalds play room) We came on a Sunday so the mariachi was playing the whole time. If you don't like this kind of music this is not the place for you. Their Michalaras are AMAZING. Made reservations for my moms 50 bday and everything went amazing! The manager was great he was able to coordinate with the mariachi to sing happy birthday the minute my mom stepped foot inside the restaurant. Ok I get here and they have karaoke so my sister puts me down for a song which it's ok, she tells me there is 4 people ahead of me, which I confirm by looking at the list. Why does it take 10 songs for me to sing a song??? Anyways..... I sang the karaoke song so my next name was 3 names away and the dj said I couldn't sing back to back. I am confused i asked him that why some people were going back to back, he said it was because they were usuals. It's not right nor fair. I asked him how much would it cost me to sing Again before I leave and he said you couldn't afford it. So I spoke to the manager and he said it's not the first time this happened. Was here last night for a friends wedding. I had never been there before. It was a very traditional Mexican setting. They had the mariachi playing on full blast which is not really my thing especially because this particular group was very out of tune. For food they had enchiladas which I would never willingly order again. They weren't nasty but they weren't good. They had rice, beans, salad, and other things. It was ALRIGHT. I don't go to karaoke places much and by much I mean at all, I used to come here since the food was good and the prices were okay for what it was, but today was my final visit here. The damn music was way to loud for the size of the place it felt like I was eating a wet burrito in a club and customers kids ran all over the damn place. Took my mom for her birthday, atmosphere was nice the girls dancing the folklorico didn't seem like they were wanting to dance . We ordered about 4 different style of drinks and the serving is really big but the alcohol content very low like 1:15 ratio. My mom really enjoyed her mole I ordered two tostadas 1 of Shrimp ceviche and one of Cooked shrimp the cooked shrimp was so over cooked it begin to disintegrate before it got to my table and the ceviche had more onion then ceviche. Food is good, my favorite will be the Mexican Molcajete I ussually get it for one and it will feed two of us and sometimes have some left over. My kids love the pancakes. My other favorite food is Wet burrito, chile verde and Campechana My favorite days to go are Mon-Thurs for happy hour specials you would get a bucket of Beer for only 12 bucks and 2x1 shrimp cocktels that are pretty delicious. and if you are up for it they also have Karaoke and mariachi thursday thru Sunday with special guest apperances on Sunday. I really wanted some good Mexican food - thought we would try Casa Adelita. We were seated and could not hear a word the waitress was saying because the music was EXTREMELY LOUD!! This place is not large and there were several people on the stage playing instruments and SCREAMING into microphones!! Great place, especially if you have little one's because they have an indoor play gym. I tell my kids its the mexican Chucky Cheese. Food is good and have allot of choices. My personal fav is the Molcajete of meat. Has great taste. The staff is great and a good sign in any establishment is that I see the same faces every time I go. The prices on the drive thru menu are not correct. It says a wet burrito says $7.45 but I was charged $8.95. The taquitos also said 3 for $5.25. On the receipt they were $5.75. Atmosphere was great, went for Mother's Day. Live music and entertainment. Service was mediocre I understand it was a busy night. Food was Horrible, starting with the chips seemed like they had just taken them out of the oil. I ordered the chile relleno combo with an enchilada and came with rice and beans no flavor.
