Came here on a Sunday at 1:45ish to grab some lunch mind you its 3 if us and it was not that busy for a typical Sunday. The wait itself was not bad at all. A 5min wait, we sit down and a couple are seated after us and automatically have their order for drinks taken. I call a worker that passes by to let them know and they tell me that we have a different server and calls her. When the server comes over she has an attitude taking out order. I will admit I was a bit snappy for the negligence but I should've know it was down hill from there. They take what seemed like forever to bring our drinks ( at least a 10min wait) and waited another 20 min for what we were hoping was our food. We walked in and asked if they could accommodate a large party of 16. After being told it wouldn't be a problem--and that we'd just need to wait a bit for tables to open up--we were happy to wait. But from the moment we were seated, it became clear we were more of a burden than a welcomed group. That should've been our sign to leave. The service was cold and dismissive from the start. No warm greeting, no basic hospitality--unless we went out of our way to flag someone down. At one point, when we politely asked a server for water and to take our menus, she rolled her eyes and acted like we were asking for too much. It was uncomfortable and honestly, a little embarrassing. On top of that, the menu didn't have prices listed anywhere. I'm sorry, but that's not elegant--it's misleading. You're essentially asking people to order blindly and just hope they don't get stuck with an outrageous bill. It felt more like a trap than a premium experience. today I was in Paramount for work when I was craving some Mexican food so I found this place on yelp. it was very busy, but the wait was not long at all maybe a few minutes. The servers were so nice and the ambience was really cool. I ordered a few things and they were all good. My favorite one was the Carne Asada plate. The meat is so tender and juicy OMG. Hello there, I'm proceeding to make an effort and put together a goal to vlog about my eating experiences. For everyone here on Yelp at least once a week. Perhaps that will knock down all the bookmarks that I have, (maybe) lol. And well at least share some information about the places I have been to help the community. Enough about myself, this spot has incredible food. The service can come across as a tad unhurried, I felt this was due to the high volume of customers in the restaurant which is understandable. I have never experienced eating inside just order over the phone, then pick up, and let's go!! While waiting for my order (sometimes), the ambiance around the restaurant seems lively and busy, with a lot of moving pieces. I would give this a 4/5 just due to my experience with food and services. However, I would recommend it to you if it is already something you are reviewing and looking at. read more

El Sinaloense exceeded my expectations this morning. My husband and I stopped in for breakfast. We had chilaquiles con huevos y salsa verde and machaca con verduras y huevo. The chilaquiles were perfectly spiced to my surprise. I like spicy & these did not disappoint. The green salsa was perfect. My machaca was also juicy, flavorful, and not greasy. It tasted very similar to my mother's Sinaloa style homemade machaca. Beans and rice were also fresh. The salsa on the side, for flavor, not at all spicy is the perfect staple salsa to go with any traditional Sinaloense meal. Prices are reasonable for quality and portion, averaging $11 a plate. Service was great. Our server was friendly, attentive, and food came out fairly quickly. I am very pleasantly surprised to find this gem in Paramount's downtown strip. I will be bringing more family and friends along in the future. read more

Sadly, the delicious food of the restaurant were eclipsed by the unpleasant actions of the management. The food is good but not good enough to be be dealing with a manager that's rude and dismissive towards me and other customers. I was a bit reluctant to try this place out because of the low reviews but I ended up really loving the food! I tried the Aguachiles verdes and the sopes and was not disappointed at all! The level of spiciness and the texture of both plates was also perfect! The service was not as bad as everybody made it seem, at least in my experience, but they were definitely slow. Actual menu doesn't have prices on there. I scanned the QR menu which was tapped on the center of the table. We ordered from that menu with prices on it with our waitress. At the end we get a receipt with bumped up prices NOT THE ACTUAL PRICE.. We asked to speak to the manager. She explained prices have gone up etc. Which I completely understand, But you can't add your own prices at the end without it informing the customer. That is Fraud. Prices on the menu is what the customer pays. So beware at the end when paying plus 4% on top when NOT using cash usually restaurants charge 2% not 4%. I wonder how many people have gotten scammed at the end. Food was not how it used to be and if this place wants to be in business customer service (MANAGEMENT) needs to step it up and be honest with your customers. read more

If I can give zero stars, I would. I swear it is always an awful experience here not only for myself, but friends and family members as well. Finally calling it quits and never going here again gave the customer service plenty of opportunities, but they really treat you like crap here especially the manager, which is an older lady with darker hair. She's the worst And is so rude would definitely not recommend this place ever again to anyone. This lady needs to take classes or they need to get rid of her. I know many people who have walked out before even getting to order because of how rude and uncomfortable she makes you feel. Sucks because food is good but not worth it with that service. read more
