The Pozole is good, tastes a little different than the stuff you find in any other resto. The Barbacoa plate was sooo good comes with handmade tortillas. The wait time sucks. Pro Tip, order ahead. Place is cash only, so make sure u come prepared. I had to leave and make an ATM trip and come back for my order. If you are craving menudo this is the place to come. The menudo is really good. You can bring your own pot to take it to go. I would give it more stars but I can't bypass how rude the owner is . He's rude and he makes you feel like he's doing you a favor instead of being gracious. We come here once or twice a month for the menudo. The menudo is pretty good, highly recommended. We never eat here, we always take on the go. The portions are pretty good, lots of meat on the to-go containers. The parking lot is pretty small so you have to stop by during non-busy hours if you don't want to wait. Food was very good, however like every restaurant there will always be room to improve, having a tortilla machine you would think you could produce your own homemade chips and offer them to your customers complementary, I would definitely eat here on my next trip Tucson. read more

Been coming to this place for over 18 years. Ownership changed only once I believe but the food remains authentic. The tortillas are made there and come out nice and soft. The place is small, only 4 tables and parking sucks. But the food is what keeps on bringing us back. My daughter once said, "Lets go eat at my favorite Mexican place." I do not eat spicy and usually order my tacos without chile but when I got home I noticed I forgot to mention this and these tacos were so good that I did not mind the spice. I asked my co-workers if any of them wanted to give it a try with me and a few (3) agreed we got there and it was packed. It is a little hole in the wall place with only 4 small tables to sit and eat in, EVERYTHING is made to order and it's $$$$ONLY CASH$$$$ one of my co-workers ordered 2 sopes de res that came with consome on the side ( a warm broth) to pour on top the sope or drink with them, 2tacos de cabeza the corn tortillas are ALL hand made to order. The two other people ordered carne asada burrito which they both said were DELICIOUS & very generous with the meat only $5.50 NOT bad. I ordered machaca con huevo no rice double beans because all plate orders are served with rice & beans but I opted out of rice came with 4 handmade corn tortillas. Did take about 20min for our food to come out but it was our first time there and we didn't know it got very packed and busy especially around lunch time. The lady told us to call our order 30min ahead of time if we wavy to order for pickup. Which we sure will because the food was BOMB.COM read more
